Work vehicle having electric machine and energy storage device
A work vehicle and energy storage device include a ballast providing ballast weight to the horizontal end of the work vehicle, a stator of an electric machine having a vertically extending axis, a rotor of the electric machine fixed for rotation with the ballast and configured for rotation about the vertically extending axis, and a bearing supporting the ballast weight and the rotor for rotation of the rotor relative to the stator.
Construction Machine
It is made possible to perform power reduction control during non-operation of control levers, suppress a return to a normal power state when a control lever is accidentally moved, and make a smooth transition to an operation desired to be performed when a return is made to the normal power state. To this end, in a power reduction state, when a first cancellation condition in which two or more control levers are inclined simultaneously is satisfied or when a second cancellation condition in which one lever continues to be inclined is satisfied, a controller 50 determines that an operator “has an intention of canceling power reduction” and cancels power reduction control.
Electric Construction Machine
A cable support device (14) for supporting an intermediate part of a power supply cable (13) is provided with a cable stand (16) attached to an upper revolving structure (3), an arm member (19) that is rotatably attached to the cable stand (16) to grip the power supply cable (13) on the tip end side and, and a locking mechanism (25) that is removably disposed in the cable stand (16) and in the arm member (19) to prohibit rotation of the arm member (19) relative to the cable stand (16). Thereby, the rotation of the arm member (19) relative to the cable stand (16) is prohibited by the locking mechanism (25), making it possible to prevent the power feeding cable (13) retained in the arm member (19) from contacting a cab (6).
Electric Work Machine
A hydraulic excavator as an electric work machine includes a lower traveling body, an upper swivel body located above the lower traveling body and provided to be swivelable with respect to the lower traveling body, an electric motor arranged in the upper swivel body, a hydraulic pump arranged in the upper swivel body and driven by the electric motor, a battery unit arranged in the upper swivel body and storing electric power to drive the electric motor, and a hydraulic actuator driven by hydraulic oil supplied from the hydraulic pump. The upper swivel body has a swivel frame at a bottom portion thereof. The battery unit is arranged on the swivel frame. The electric motor and the hydraulic pump are arranged on the swivel frame, side by side in a left-right direction of the upper swivel body.
WORK VEHICLE HAVING ELECTRIC MACHINE AND ENERGY STORAGE DEVICE
A work vehicle and energy storage device include a ballast providing ballast weight to the horizontal end of the work vehicle, a stator of an electric machine having a vertically extending axis, and a rotor of the electric machine fixed for rotation with the ballast.
BRAKE FOR ENERGY STORAGE DEVICE
An energy storage device is mounted at a horizontal end of a work vehicle for storing energy generated from operation of the work vehicle. The energy storage device includes a stator of an electric machine having a stator axis, a rotor of the electric machine fixed for rotation with a rotating ballast and configured for rotation about the stator axis, a housing disposed around the rotor and configured to contain the electric machine, and a brake configured to absorb kinetic energy of the rotor.
Microdredging system and method of using the same
Microdredging systems comprising a pumping platform and loading platform. In certain embodiments, system operates autonomously and is adapted to allow the loading platform undock from the pumping platform for disposal of the removed sediment.
ELECTRONIC CONTROL UNIT, HYDRAULIC SYSTEM, AND METHOD FOR CONTROLLING A HYDRAULIC SYSTEM
The disclosure concerns an electronic control unit for a hydraulic system, the hydraulic system comprising a pump drivingly coupled to a motor, the pump configured to provide a supply pressure in a supply line of the hydraulic system. The electronic control unit is configured to receive a load sensing signal corresponding to a sensed load measure of the hydraulic system; determine, based on the load sensing signal and a predetermined pump margin, a target torque parameter for the motor; and adjust the motor based on the target torque parameter. The disclosure further concerns a hydraulic system and a method for controlling a hydraulic system.
MULTI-TIERED INTERFACE BETWEEN CONDUCTOR ROD AND WORK MACHINE
A work machine, such as a hauler at a mining site, includes a conductor rod housing concentric metal tubes for receiving electrical power from a contactor sliding on a power rail. A head-end interface of the conductor rod proximate the work machine includes multiple tiers to which terminal connectors are affixed. The tiers are at different heights above the base of the head-end interface, providing a distance or spacing between adjacent terminal connectors, thus reducing the need to increase a diameter of head-end interface to accommodate adjacent terminal connectors.
ELECTRICAL DRIVE SYSTEM FOR EARTH MOVING MACHINERY
An electrical drive system that modifies operation between that of a generator and a motor based on changes in operation of a tractor and machine scraper in order to charge the electrical drive system when the machine scraper is empty or being unloaded and to power the drive of the machine scraper when the machine scraper is cutting and loading a bowl of the machine scraper and during the transport of the load from the location of the cutting and loading.
