MONITORING AND COMMUNICATING INFORMATION USING DRUG ADMINISTRATION DEVICES
In general, systems and methods for monitoring and communicating information using drug administration devices are provided.
PORTABLE MEDICAL SPRAY
A portable medical spray includes a tubular body having a room defined therein, and a breakable portion is formed to the top end of the body. A connection portion extends from the bottom end of the body. A nozzle is connected to the top end of the body. The nozzle has a passage which is located corresponding to the breakable portion. A medicine cell is located in the room of the body and has medicine received therein. The medicine cell is a compressible bellow cell. A needle is located in the medicine cell. An end part is mounted to the connection portion. The end part is pushed toward the nozzle to compress the medicine cell, and the needle penetrates through the top end of the medicine cell and the breakable portion to release the medicine via the nozzle.
DRUG ADMINISTRATION DEVICES THAT COMMUNICATE WITH SURGICAL HUBS
In general, drug administration devices that communicate with surgical hubs and methods of using drug administration devices that communicate with surgical hubs are provided.
PATIENT MONITORING USING DRUG ADMINISTRATION DEVICES
In general, systems and methods for patient monitoring using drug administration devices are provided.
AGGREGATING AND ANALYZING DRUG ADMINISTRATION DATA
In general, systems and methods for aggregating and analyzing drug administration data are provided.
Inhalation device including substance usage controls
A smoke inhalation apparatus may include a cartridge comprising a release device configured to release a substance, a light device configured to simulate burning of a tip of a cigar or cigarette, a controller operatively and communicatively coupled to the release device and the light device, and a power source configured to provide power to the cartridge, the controller, and the light device. The light device may be configured to vary a level of intensity of light emitted based on an amount of airflow between the inlet hole and the outlet hole.
Method for making medicinal delivery device having multi-layer coating
Methods of making components for a medicinal delivery device are described, in which a base composition comprising a polysulphone is applied to the surface of a component to create a base layer, a primer composition comprising a silane having two or more reactive silane groups separated by an organic linker group is applied to the base layer to create primed surface, and a coating composition comprising an at least partially fluorinated compound is applied to the primed surface. Corresponding coated components and a medicinal delivery device are disclosed.
INTRANASAL TREATMENT DEVICE
The present invention relates to a closed system intranasal treatment device that is preferably in round, square, rectangular, triangular prism, quadrilateral, pentagon etc. form and that ensures the person who will use it gets maximum efficiency from the drug by creating a closed structure by completely wrapping noses of pediatric, adult and geriatric patient groups and preventing the drug from passing out of the system and maximizes patient compliance, in which all liquid pharmaceutical compositions in the state of the art are applicable.
INHALER AND METHOD AND ARRANGEMENT FOR ADMINISTERING AN ACTIVE SUBSTANCE
An inhaler that includes a housing having a body configured to receive an active substance container containing an active substance, and an air channel extending within the housing; an administration element for nebulising or vaporising the active substance for mixing the active substance with air flowing in the air channel; an electronic control apparatus; an electronic data storage device; and a sensor system having a flow measuring apparatus for measuring a volume flow and a mass flow of the air and the active substance for storage as active substance delivery data; wherein: the electronic control apparatus is configured to convert active substance administration data into administration data to control the mixing of the active substance with the air; and the electronic control apparatus is configured to calculate a quantity of the active substance delivered from the active substance container and to compare the quantity with the active substance administration data.
INHALATION DEVICE WITH CYLINDRICAL ROTATABLE DIAL FOR INPUT OF A TARGET AMOUNT OF INHALED SUBSTANCE
An inhalation device for e.g., nicotine products which receives a user input regulating the amount of nicotine the user wants to receive. Once the selected amount has been delivered to the user, the device shuts off its atomizer to conclude operation.
