WEAR ASSEMBLY
A wear assembly for earth working equipment including a wear member including an exterior surface, an opening to receive a separable component, and a hole extending from the external surface to the opening. A lock in the hole to secure the separable component to the wear member, wherein the lock includes a collar and a pin that is adjustable within the collar so that the pin is movable inward to retain the separable component and movable outward to release the separable component. A magnet to secure the collar in the hole. The lock may pivot outwardly into the hole.
Tool bit having a cylindrical profile and blade assembly
A tool bit comprises a shank portion including a cylindrical configuration defining a longitudinal axis, a radial direction, and a circumferential direction, and a working portion including a cylindrical configuration that is concentric with the shank portion and a flat bottom surface.
Excavating tooth assembly with releasable lock pin assembly
A lock pin assembly including a main body, a pin assembly, and a lock assembly. The main body includes a first bore extending longitudinally inwardly from a main body outer face and a second bore extending radially inwardly. The pin assembly is threadably disposable in the first bore to an inserted position and includes a pin body having a pin body outer face and a pin body inner face. The pin assembly also includes a rotatable shaft extending longitudinally through the pin body, wherein the rotatable shaft is rotatable between a locked position and an unlocked position, and a cam rotationally coupled to the rotatable shaft. The lock assembly is disposed in the second bore and is biased radially inwardly to inhibit removal of the pin assembly from the main body when the pin assembly is at the inserted position and the rotatable shaft is in the locked position.
Tooth mounting structure for bucket and tooth for bucket
A tooth mounting structure for a bucket includes a tooth adapter and a tooth. The tooth adapter includes a mounting portion mounted to the bucket and a nose portion extending from the mounting portion. The tooth includes an internal space for inserting the nose portion. The nose portion includes a rectangular tip portion, a rectangular base end portion and an octagonal connecting portion. An inner surface of the tooth is formed along an outer surface of the nose portion.
IMPLEMENT TIP ASSEMBLY HAVING TIP WITH SUPPORT RIB
A ground engaging tip of a ground engaging tip assembly includes an adapter configured for attachment to the base edge of the implement and having a forwardly extending adapter nose. The ground engaging tip has a rear edge, a top outer surface, and a bottom outer surface. The top and bottom outer surfaces extend forward from the rear edge and converge at a front edge of the ground engaging tip. The tip has first and second side outer surfaces extending forward from the rear edge of the ground engaging tip to the front edge. The tip has a nose cavity for receiving the adapter nose therein. The tip has a support rib on at least one of the first or second side outer surfaces, the support rib being positioned at the rear edge and extending lengthwise from the bottom outer surface toward the top outer surface.
ADAPTER WITH THRU-HOLE AND RAIL
A base includes a male portion including a first projection, and a second projection facing in a diametrically opposed manner to the first projection. A stepped bore extends from the first projection to the second projection that has a large diameter portion that is at least partially formed by the first projection.
TIP WITH THRU-HOLE AND PIN RETAINING GEOMETRY
A wear member includes a forward working portion that is disposed along its longitudinal axis including a closed end, and a rear attachment portion that is disposed along the longitudinal axis including an open end with an exterior surface, and an interior surface. The interior surface defines an interior counterbore with a major diameter, and a minor diameter. A ratio of the major diameter to the minor diameter ranges from 1.8 to 2.2.
Tooth attachment structure for bucket and tooth for bucket
A tooth attachment structure for a bucket includes a tooth, a pin member, and a lock member. The tooth includes a guide groove provided on an inner surface of the tooth and a pin hole provided in the guide groove. The pin member is disposed in the pin hole. The lock member is disposed in the guide groove. The lock member locks the pin member. The lock member engages the pin member by sliding toward the pin member.
WEAR ASSEMBLY
A wear member for attaching to a digging edge of a bucket includes a front end and bifurcated legs extending rearwardly from the front end. Each leg includes an inner surface to face the digging edge, a rear wall, and a lock opening to receive a lock therethrough. At least one of the bifurcated legs includes a front portion, a rear portion, and a coupling feature. The rear portion defines a stabilizing region comprising a front facing lateral wall forward of the rear wall.
Excavating tooth assembly for earth-digging equipment
A tooth assembly having an adapter, a tooth, and a pin. The adapter and the tooth each have a first portion and a second portion. The first portion of the adapter is adapted to be combined with an earth-digging implement. The second portion of the adapter is adapted to be combined with the tooth. The second portion of the adapter has an opening adapted to receive an engagement member extending from the second portion of the tooth. The first portion of the tooth is adapted to engage the material being displaced by the implement and the second portion is adapted to be combined with the adapter. The second portion of the tooth has an opening adapted to receive an engagement member extending from the second portion of the adapter. The pin is inserted through openings in both the adapter and the tooth to secure the two components together during operation.
