Underdrain assembly and method of manufacturing same
An underdrain apparatus and a method for manufacturing such apparatus are provided. The underdrain apparatus can be extruded in long sections as a unitary part. The underdrain apparatus may be extruded in various sizes, shapes, and materials. Further, the underdrain apparatus may include a passageway for transporting water to and from the filter media and/or air to the filter media. In some embodiments, apertures are formed in the underdrain apparatus during an extrusion process to provide a path between the passageway and the filter media.
Structure for an aquatic space and method for conserving large bodies of water
The present invention is a new process for preserving the water of an aquatic body as a supplying source for different human activities such as recreation and amusement, food and ornamentation, by the development of a aquatic space formed by a Open water Lake, a Spa Lake, and a Water Depuration Lake that preserves the water mass by biotransformation and mineralization that allow reducing the concentration of carbon, nitrogen and phosphorous, generating clean and transparent water without the use of large amounts of chemicals and complex filtrate systems.
Field filtration assembly for injection water quality assessment and monitoring
An adjustable filtration assembly performs water filtration tests from a sample point. A container contains a water solution. An inlet valve enables a flow of the water solution into the container. An adjustable pressure regulator valve regulates the flow. A relief valve releases a portion of the water solution when a pressure of the water solution exceeds a threshold pressure. A differential pressure gauge displays a current pressure reading of the water solution in the container, receives adjustments specifying a specific pressure to be maintained, maintains the specific pressure of the water solution, and triggers the relief valve when the pressure exceeds the specific pressure. An outlet valve, when opened, outputs a measured volume of the water solution. A filter membrane mounted in the outlet valve filters solids from the measured volume. A relative plugging index (RPI) of the water solution is determined based on a weight of the solids.
AIR BURST SYSTEM FOR CLEANING SUBMERGED SCREEN INTAKE
Systems and related methods for purging air burst supply piping of accumulated water prior to delivering pulses of pressurized air to an interior of a screen intake through the air burst supply piping. The systems and methods can include a purge compressor delivering a purging air supply at a head pressure slightly above a head pressure of water in the air burst supply piping, wherein the head pressure of the water is equivalent to a depth at which the intake screen. The system and methods can also include a purge line arranged in a parallel orientation to an air burst supply line, wherein both the purge line and the air burst supply line are operably coupled to a pressurized air tank.

Environmental remediation systems, devices, and methods
A liquid treatment system includes: a filter casing including a structural wall, a first screen formed though the structural wall, and a second screen formed though the structural wall; and a liquid treatment cartridge configured for placement in the filter casing between the first and second screens. The liquid treatment cartridge includes a cartridge casing having an upper end and a lower end, and an inflatable seal surrounding the cartridge casing at an intermediary position between the upper end and lower end. A method of servicing a groundwater treatment installation includes: vertically displacing a liquid treatment cartridge within a filter casing having a structural wall, a first screen formed though the structural wall, and a second screen formed though the structural wall.
Well screen with integrated filter or treatment media
An improved well screen with an integrated filter or treatment media assembly. An integrated assembly for use in horizontal well installations in which the well screen may be installed without special procedures, and without necessitating the use of a sand pack. An inner extrusion supports a textile sock that may include reactive material. The material is protected by an outer well screen.
