PRE-CONNECTED ANALYTE SENSORS

Pre-connected analyte sensors are provided. A pre-connected analyte sensor includes a sensor carrier attached to an analyte sensor. The sensor carrier includes a substrate configured for mechanical coupling of the sensor to testing, calibration, or wearable equipment. The sensor carrier also includes conductive contacts for electrically coupling sensor electrodes to the testing, calibration, or wearable equipment.

MODULAR INHALER ADHERENCE MONITOR

An adherence monitor for attachment to an inhaler is disclosed. The inhaler has a drug canister, an actuator holding the drug canister, the actuator having a mouthpiece, and a dosing device operable to allow the drug canister to be actuated to release a dose. The adherence monitor includes an actuation detection sensor operable to sense the physical movement of the drug canister when actuated. An inhalation data sensor is operable to sense air pressure change created by the inhalation. A controller is coupled to the sensors to record an actuation event.

Inhaler adapted to read information stored in data storage means of a container

The present disclosure relates to an inhaler adapted to supply a formulation comprised in a container to a user, the inhaler being adapted to read information stored in data storage means of the container. The present disclosure also relates to a system comprising such an inhaler and the container comprising the formulation, the container further comprising the data storage means storing the information. The present disclosure also relates to a container comprising a formulation, the container further comprising data storage means storing information, the container being adapted for supplying the formulation to a user, wherein the container is adapted for usage in an inhaler of any of the preceding claims. The disclosure also relates to set comprising the inhaler and a computing device external of the inhaler, wherein the inhaler and the computing device are adapted to communicate with each other. The disclosure also relates to the use of the inhaler, container, set and/or system for inhalation therapy.

METERED DOSE INHALERS OF FLUTICASONE OR AN ESTER THEREOF

The invention relates to metered dose inhaler comprising a stable pharmaceutical composition of fluticasone or its pharmaceutically acceptable ester contained in a canister fitted with a metering valve, an actuator and dose counter. The invention also relates to a process for preparing said pharmaceutical composition and its use in the treatment of respiratory disorders such as asthma in a subject (e.g., a human).

ELECTRONIC BREATH ACTUATED DROPLET DELIVERY SYSTEMS WITH DOSE METERING CAPABILITIES, INHALATION TOPOGRAPHY METHODS, AND RELATED METHODS OF USE

Methods, devices and systems are provided wherein compositions are delivered to the pulmonary system of an intended user via inhalation in a controlled manner and at a desired doses and/or amounts, e.g., within a desired dosage window and/or inhalation topography. In certain embodiments, dosage windows and/or inhalation topography may be used, e.g., to provide for controlled cessation of use or to provide a desired therapeutic window.

Drug delivery systems and related methods

Systems and methods for isolating and/or desiccating a portion of a drug delivery tract of a drug delivery apparatus to reduce water vapor content therein are provided. For example, there is provided a metered dose inhaler for delivering aerosolized medicament or other matter to a user. The aerosolized medicament or other matter may be discharged from a discharge passageway within the inhaler into an inhalation passageway for inhalation by a user, and the inhaler may comprise a seal member operative to selectively isolate the discharge passageway from the inhalation passageway and external environment during inactivity. The inhaler may further comprise a desiccant material arranged to withdraw moisture from the isolated discharge passageway. In other instances, desiccant material may be arranged to withdraw moisture from the discharge passageway of the inhaler without isolating the discharge passage during inactivity.
