A faucet having a base that is mountable to a support, a spout moveably coupled to the base and having an outlet for dispensing water, and a valve that controls a flow of water to an outlet, where the valve is opened in response to the spout being moved relative to the base to a first position, and the valve is closed in response to the spout being moved relative to the base from the first position toward a second position.

A sink system is provided. The sink system includes a sink basin and a discharge conduit coupled to the sink basin, which is positioned to expel fluid into the sink basin via an outlet thereof. The flow of fluid through the discharge conduit may be activated via a motion sensor or switch coupled directly to the basin or a spacer ring positioned between the basin and the countertop. Controls for adjusting the temperature and/or flow rate of fluid through the discharge conduit may also be coupled to the basin or a spacer ring positioned between the basin and the countertop, or alternatively, to a surface of the countertop. A flushing device (1) for a sanitary article (2), in particular a urinal or a toilet, said flushing device comprising a control unit (3), and a flushing valve (4) that can be controlled by means of the control unit (3) for controlling a flushing procedure, wherein a fluid for flushing or for cleaning the sanitary article (2) is introduced during a flushing procedure, wherein it is possible by means of the control unit (3) to predetermine a flushing regime for the flush activation. The control unit (3) further comprises a temperature sensor (5) for detecting the ambient temperature (T), wherein the temperature sensor (5) is connected by way of a data channel (7) to the control unit (3) and wherein the flushing regime can be adjusted on the basis of the ambient temperature (T).

The present application relates to a system and method for controlling a plumbing fixture. The system includes a Bluetooth receiver module configured to receive a wireless signal from mobile equipment, a micro control unit in electrical communication with the Bluetooth receiver module, an asynchronous receiver and transmitter in electrical communication with the micro control unit, and a processor in electrical communication with the micro control unit and the plumbing fixture. The Bluetooth receiver module is configured to receive one or more wireless control speech data packets from mobile equipment, convert the one or more wireless control speech data packets into one or more digital signals, and transmit the one or more digital signals to the micro control unit. The micro control unit is configured to control one or more functions associated with the plumbing fixture in response to the one or more digital signals.

A voice-controlled electronic faucet assembly includes an electronic mixing valve fluidly connected to a cold water source and a hot water source; a spout; and a control module. The spout is fluidly connected to the electronic mixing valve. The control module without networking function includes a sound receiving component, an echo elimination unit and a processing unit. The sound receiving component receives a sound. The echo elimination unit is coupled to the sound receiving component and processes an echo elimination on the sound. The processing unit is coupled to the echo elimination unit and receives an audio signal after processing with the echo elimination, and performs an offline voice recognition on the audio signal based on a database and generates a comparison result, and outputs a control signal for controlling the electronic mixing valve to perform a corresponding action according to the comparison result.

A hybrid faucet assembly configured to operate in a touchless, hands-free automatic mode and a manual mode comprises a faucet body; a faucet spout; a first manual flow control valve connected to a cold water source; a second manual flow control valve connected to a hot water source; an electromechanical valve connected to a cold water source or to both a cold water source and a hot water source; a flow director; a controller; and an activator device. The hybrid faucet assembly may comprise an override mechanism to disable an automatic mode during operation of a manual mode.

The present invention provides an electronic plumbing system including gesture control. The electronic plumbing system includes a user input/output module. The user input/output module includes an activation sensor. The activation sensor is operable to be mounted on the electronic plumbing system. The activation sensor is operable to define an activation zone. The activation sensor is operable to detect a gesture of an object in the activation zone.

A system for decontaminating the hands of a person is disclosed having a composition with a marker agent capable of luminescence when exposed to light having a wavelength ranging from approximately 315 to 400 nanometers. The composition is disposed in a container capable of receiving the hands of a person therein such that when the hands of the person are placed in the container the hands of the person are immersed in the composition. A water dispenser is provided that operates in conjunction with a light source adapted to emit radiation having a wavelength ranging from approximately 315 to 400 nanometers. A washing event occurs while light is directed towards the location of the washing event.

An outlet device includes an electronic outlet and mechanical outlet two modes. The invention provides a bathroom fixture in the form of an electronic mirror with a touchlessly operated fluid dispenser. The device provides visual cues to assist in the touchless operation thereof.
