Drain Stopper Apparatus
A drain stopper apparatus is disclosed and configured for being installed within a drain hole of a fixture, for preventing any buildup of hair or other materials within an associated drainpipe of the fixture. In at least one embodiment, the apparatus provides a stopper body sized and shaped for being positioned within the drain hole of the fixture, in contact with an inner surface of a basin of the fixture. A stopper tailpiece is engaged with a bottom of the stopper body. A stopper is positioned within the stopper body and configured for selectively moving between one of an open position and a closed position. A drive coupler interconnects a lower end of the stopper tailpiece with an upper end of the drainpipe, the drive coupler providing a drive mechanism positioned and configured for selectively actuating the stopper between the open and closed positions.
LAVATORY WITH HIDDEN DRAIN
A lavatory includes a basin including a bottom surface, the basin configured to hold a volume of water; and a drain opening disposed in the bottom surface of the basin. The bottom surface of the basin includes a substantially horizontally extending projection formed integrally with the bottom surface of the basin. The horizontally extending projection is disposed over the drain opening such that the drain opening is at least partially obscured from a view of a user.
Accelerated drain apparatus and method for walk-in bathtub
An accelerated drain system for a walk-in bathtub with a water outlet in a side wall communicates water to a diverter valve biased to circulate the water in the bathtub and movable selectively to communicate water through a reverse check valve to a drain, the reverse check valve biased closed to prevent water flow and movable selectively to allow water flow to the drain, with a controller configured for moving the diverter valve selectively from the second position to the closed position for subsequent use of the walk-in bathtub. A method of rapid draining of a walk-in bathtub is disclosed.
Drain Stopper Device
The present invention relates to plumbing fixtures, and more particularly to drain stopper assemblies used to control the flow of fluid through a drain opening of a sink or bathtub. More specifically, the present invention is a novel drain stopper device that can be attached or removed from a drain without the use of tools and without requiring a user to access the space underneath the drain. The device is preferably comprised of a drain stopper head portion having a repositionable push button in mechanical communication with a spring, a shaft and a pair of repositionable jaws such that the pair of jaws are repositioned to grip or release a pivot rod when the push button is repositioned between a first and a second position.
DRAIN PLUG LINKAGE DEVICE
A drain plug linkage device includes a pull rod assembly, an operating rod, a drain plug, and a drain pipe. The pull rod assembly includes a pull rod and a connecting sleeve. The operating rod has a plurality of spaced recessed portions. The connecting sleeve and the operating rod are arranged crosswise. The connecting sleeve has a plurality of spaced positioning portions each having an opening. One of the recessed portions of the operating rod is selectively inserted through the opening of a corresponding one of the positioning portions to be positioned therein. The operation of adjusting the height of the pull rod assembly and the distance between the pull rod assembly and a washbasin, bathroom sink or hand wash sink is simple.
Drain plug linkage arrangement
The present invention discloses a drain plug linkage arrangement including a pull rod assembly, an operating rod, a drain plug, and a drain pipe, wherein the drain plug is movably mounted in the drain pipe. The pull rod assembly includes a pull rod and a connecting rod, wherein the pull rod is connected to the connecting rod via a button. A first end of the operating rod is inserted into the drain pipe from a sidewall of the drain pipe and is connected to the drain plug. The operating rod is connected to the connecting rod of the pull rod assembly. Assembly and disassembly between the pull rod and the connecting rod disclosed in the present invention are very convenient.
WASTEWATER DRAIN STOPPER SYSTEM
A wastewater drain assembly is provided that includes a selectively openable drain stopper. The wastewater drain assembly is interconnected to a fluid basin wherein a flange, which is interconnected to wastewater plumbing, is situated within the sink. The flange receives an insert that has a portion that conceals the flange.
SINK DRAIN AID
A method for removing a sink drain stopper includes providing a sink drain aid including a handle and a suction cup connected to the handle; engaging the sink drain aid suction cup to a sink stopper; and pulling on the handle to remove the sink drain stopper. A device to perform the method includes the sink drain aid described.
Universal sink stopper and strainer
Disclosed are various embodiments for a universal sink stopper and strainer. Various embodiments can include a handle, a plate, and a gasket. The gasket can include a first plurality of holes. The plate can include a protrusion and a second plurality of holes. The protrusion is shaped to extend through a portion of the gasket. The handle is configured to rotate to adjust an alignment of the first plurality of holes of the gasket with respect to the second plurality of holes of the plate.
