Pop-Up Drain Assembly
20170260724 · 2017-09-14 · ·

A pop-up drain assembly for a sink has drain piping, a stopper in the drain piping, a pivot rod for opening and closing the stopper and tends not to clog because the pivot rod is not within a fluid flow path. In one embodiment the stopper has flow diverter plates that channel fluid flowing through the drain piping away from the pivot rod so that hair, waste and debris does not catch on and accumulate on the pivot rod. In another embodiment the stopper and the pivot rod are engaged through magnetic coupling, and the pivot rod does not protrude into the fluid flow path. The stopper is preferably variable in length for adjustment to fit different distances from the pivot rod to the top of the drain piping.

Accelerated Drain Apparatus And Method For Walk-In Bathtub

An accelerated drain system for a walk-in bathtub with a water outlet in a side wall communicates water to a diverter valve biased to circulate the water in the bathtub and movable selectively to communicate water through a reverse check valve to a drain, the reverse check valve biased closed to prevent water flow and movable selectively to allow water flow to the drain, with a controller configured for moving the diverter valve selectively from the second position to the closed position for subsequent use of the walk-in bathtub. A method of rapid draining of a walk-in bathtub is disclosed.

Drain fitting device

This disclosure relates to drains in bathing environments. A drain fitting device can have a motor to actuate a cam to maneuver a drain stopper, enabling the flow of fluid through a drain inlet of a bathing environment. The drain fitting device can provide a motorized or actuated method for a user to quickly and reliably open a drain stopper of a bathing environment.

Drainage assembly and sink

A drainage assembly and a sink are provided. The drainage assembly includes a base body. Two ends of the base body are provided with an input port and an output port respectively. The input port is communicated with the output port by a flow channel located in the base body. The flow channel includes an upper chamber communicated with the input port and a lower chamber communicated with the output port. The base body is provided with a switch mechanism configured to control connection and disconnection between the upper chamber and the lower chamber. The base body is provided with a water inlet connector and a liquid level measurement connector that are separately communicated with the upper chamber. The drainage assembly and the sink have liquid level measurement and water supply functions in addition to a drainage function.

Drain system for bathtub

A drain system for controlling a water level in a bathtub includes a drain exit assembly coupled to an exit drain of the bathtub and configured to receive water exiting the bathtub, a valve fluidly coupled to the drain exit assembly and operably coupled to a motor, and a pressure sensor communicatively coupled to the valve and in fluid communication with the drain exit assembly. The motor is configured to change the operational state of the valve based on a pressure sensed by the pressure sensor to control a water level within the bathtub.

Magnetic Suspension Drain

The present utility model provides a magnetic suspension drain, comprising a first connecting member and a second connecting member that are connected with each other and adapted to respective connection to a drain opening of a drain device and a drain pipe. The magnetic suspension drain further comprises a magnetic suspension inner core arranged in the first connecting member, and the magnetic suspension inner core comprises a rotary floating rod and a rotary sealing cover. The rotary floating rod is provided with a first magnet, and a repulsive second magnet is provided inside the first connecting member. The magnetic suspension inner core is configured as follows: in a sealed state, the rotary floating rod drives the rotary sealing cover to maintain sealing with a drain end of the first connecting member under the action of a repulsive force of the first magnet and the second magnet; and in a draining state, the rotary sealing cover is disengaged from the sealing with the drain end of the first connecting member under the action of water pressure and rotates along with the water flow to promote drainage. The present utility model provides a magnetic suspension inner core that utilizes magnetism to realize automatic sealing and drainage, and rotates along with the water flow during drainage to promote drainage through the rotary floating rod and the rotary sealing cover that are integrated into one whole piece.

DRAIN FOR SANITARY FIXTURES

A drain for sanitary fixtures such as sinks, tubs or the like is described. The drain is provided with an automatic overflow mechanism, of the magnetic type, configured to be automatically activated when the water level in the sanitary fixture reaches the maximum level allowed. The overflow mechanism comprises a first magnetic element arranged on a stem of the plug, and a second magnetic element integral with the head of the plug and in-between the base and the first magnetic element. In the raised position of the plug, corresponding to the raised position of the head, the first magnetic element and the second magnetic element are magnetically coupled. When a threshold value of the water pressure acting on the head is exceeded, the first magnetic element and the second magnetic element are automatically uncoupled, causing the descent of the head towards the lowered position, corresponding to the opening of the mouth of the sanitary fixture initially closed by the plug.

The drain preferably further comprises a manual lifting mechanism to lift the plug, configured to bring back the plug to the raised closed position following activation. Preferably, also the lifting mechanism is magnetic.
