Connector for pipes
A connector for a pipe and drape exhibit system enables the universal attachment of drape rods to the tops of support pipes using a coupler that mounts within the top of the pipes and extends upwardly to receive a connection hook carried by a drape rod within a taper slot such that the connection hook is received and retained behind a peripheral wall defining an open center of the connector.
CONCRETE FILLABLE STEEL JOIST
A concrete fillable steel joist includes a generally U-shaped member and a top chord. The generally U-shaped member has spaced apart webs and a bottom chord. The top chord is operably attached to the U-shaped member. The top chord has a plurality of spaced apart top chord holes. The U-shaped member and the top chord define a volume that is fillable with concrete when opposed ends of the U-shaped member have joist ends operably attached thereto. The joist ends may be a pair of end plates. Alternatively, the joist ends may be structural members. A concrete fillable steel joist system includes a plurality of spaced apart concrete fillable steel joists, and metal decking. The metal decking is operably attached between the spaced apart steel joists. The concrete fillable steel joist and the metal decking are configured to receive concrete.
Balcony installation
A balcony includes a balcony assembly and a structural post and outrigger system. The structural posts provide structural support for buildings and include the outriggers that extend substantially perpendicularly from the structural posts to a location where the balcony assembly will be installed. The outriggers include a tube or beam and an end plate on an end of the beam distal from the structural post. The balcony assembly includes at least one long beam, a platform, and a locking mechanism on an end of the long beam. The locking mechanism includes a channel for receiving and securing the end plate of the outrigger. The balcony assembly is secured to the outrigger using fasteners.
Panel system and support member for use with the same
A building panel system is provided that includes a perimeter frame; a main beam attached to the perimeter frame; a carrier attached to the main beam, the carrier having a plurality of identical hook members, each of the hook members having a protruding hooking portion on only a first side of the hook member, and a non-hooking portion on a second side of the hook member, the second side being opposite the first side; and a plurality of panels removably attached to the carrier, each of the panels being attached to the carrier by engaging one of the hooking portions.
ENGINEERED BEAM WITH ADJUSTABLE ANGLE CONNECTION
A system for providing an angled construction or bent beam construction. Such system may include a first beam comprising a first elongated beam segment having a first interlocking joint portion at one end, and a second beam comprising a second elongated beam segment having a second interlocking joint at one end, wherein the first interlocking joint portion is configured to rotatably couple to the second interlocking joint to form a rotatable joint such that the angle between the first beam and the second beam is adjustable.
FRAMING ASSEMBLY WITH MODULAR CONNECTORS
Embodiments of a framing assembly including modular connectors for interconnecting components of the framing assembly are disclosed.
STRUCTURAL ASSEMBLY AND METHOD OF ASSEMBLING THE SAME
A structural assembly comprises a first extruded component having a length and a constant cross section. The cross section defines a first cavity and a second cavity separated by a wall of the first extruded component. An aperture extends through the wall between the first and second cavities. Second and third extruded components have respective lengths and constant cross sections. A first connector is positioned within the first cavity of the first extruded component and extends into the second extruded component. A second connector is positioned within the second cavity of the first extruded component and extends into the third extruded component. A fastener extends through the first connector, the aperture, and the second connector and is configured to secure the first and second connectors to the first extruded component.
Self-supporting and load bearing structural joint
A structural joint system connects hollow structural members that provide load transfer and alignment for the connection between structural members is described. The structural members may comprise a plurality of beams each having a first and second structural members. A first and second members being joined may or may not be axially aligned. In some embodiments, the structural joint includes a first structural member having a first mating face at one end of the first structural member, the first mating face having a two dimensional profile, a second structural member having a second mating face at one end of the second structural member and positioned proximate to the first mating face of the first structural member, the second mating face having a two dimensional profile that is similar to the two dimensional profile of the first mating face, a splice plate secured to the first structural member at the first mating face and removably secured to the second structural member at the second mating face, and fasteners that secure the splice plate to the first structural member and removably attach the splice plate to the second structural member.
Framing assembly with modular connectors
A framing assembly is disclosed including a first connector and a second connector. The first connector includes a body defining an edge portion. The second connector includes a base and a flange in communication with the base. To interconnect framing components of the framing assembly, the second connector is engaged with the first connector such that an engagement surface of the flange abuts the edge portion of the first connector restricting movement of the second connector relative to the first connector.
Fabricated structural system and assembling method thereof
The present application provides a prefabricated structural system and an assembly method thereof. The prefabricated structural system may be applied to steel structures, reinforced concrete structures and timber structures. When applied to the steel structures, the prefabricated structural system includes a plurality of steel structure joints and related members. The steel structure joints and related members further comprise: a beam-column connecting sleeve, comprising a first box-shaped steel tube and first C-shaped sleeves extending from and perpendicular to outer surfaces of the first box-shaped steel tube, wherein the first C-shaped sleeve is provided with first wedge shaped recesses at ends of upper and lower flanges thereof; columns, having a column connecting end inserted into the first box-shaped steel tube; main beams, having a main beam connecting end inserted into the first C-shaped sleeve; and main beam fixing steel plates, provided with first wedge shaped protrusions that are tenon-mortise-jointed with first wedge shaped recesses at both sides of the first C-shaped sleeve. In addition to the steel structural construction, the beam-column connecting sleeve of the prefabricated structural system may be further extended to reinforced concrete structures and timber structures.
