A connection assembly for modular construction includes an upper junction connector coupled to an upper end of a column. The upper junction connector includes an upper end that has a planar upper surface, a recessed surface, and at least one connector sidewall extending between the upper surface and the recessed surface. The recessed surface and the at least one connector sidewall define a contiguous recessed area in the upper end that extends to second, third, and fourth edges of the upper end of the connector. A slot extends through the upper end adjacent to an interior surface of a column sidewall. A transverse bore extends through the first column sidewall proximate to and aligned with the slot.

Beam-column joint structure of prefabricated steel structure building

A beam-column node structure of the steel prefabricated building is provided. The structure includes inner sleeves and driving components. The inner sleeves are slidably embedded in the transverse sleeves of the cross beam or node member; the driving components are used to drive the inner sleeves to move from one of the cross beams and the transverse sleeves embedded with the inner sleeves to the other. The inner sleeves are partly located in the crossbeams and partly in the lateral sleeves, and then the internal connection between the crossbeams and the lateral sleeves can be realized by the fasteners.

DECK FRAMING SYSTEM

A deck framing system includes a perimeter support member that has a joist support wall and a web wall extending perpendicularly from the joist support wall and an overhang wall extending perpendicularly from the web wall. First and second joist support brackets include a joist support portion and a pair of attachment wings, where each one of the pair of attachment wings contacting the web wall of the perimeter support member. First and second joists each include a deck support wall and a lower wall. The deck support walls of the first and second joists are disposed between the overhang wall and the joist support portions, and the lower walls are disposed between the joist support portions and the joist support wall.

A truss connection apparatus is used to connect truss sections. A connection segment is mounted on each truss to be connected. Each connection segment has an opening, in alignment with each other to receive a fastener. The fastener is threaded on one end and can receive a nut. The other end of the fastener is a locking end having a radial protrusion. One of the connection segments has a securing means adapted to secure the locking end when the at least one protrusion of the locking end is rotated to a locking position. In the locking position the protrusion mates with the securing means and the fastener is prevented from rotational or axial movement and connection segments are fixed relative to each other as are the truss sections on which the connection sections are mounted.

Precast wall panels and method of erecting a high-rise building using the panels

Precast wall systems and methods for constructing a high-rise building using the precast wall system is disclosed. In one embodiment, the system includes a plurality of interconnected precast panels, each having a top end plate, a bottom end plate, a plurality of vertical bars disposed between the end plates and a cementitious material encasing the vertical bars and defining a plurality of sides of the respective panel. A first of the precast panels has a first column member half defining a right side of the first panel, a second of the precast panels has a second column member half defining a left side of the second panel such that, when the right side of the first precast panel and the left side of the second precast panel are disposed horizontally adjacent to each other, the first column member half and the second column member half collectively form a column member.

System and apparatus for securing a floorplate to a structure

A multi-story building that includes a vertical support core and a plurality of floor plates is described, wherein fabrication of the building includes, in one embodiment, assembling each of the floor plates at or near ground level, and lifting each of the floor plates to a design level on the vertical support core. A system and device for securing one of the floor plates to the building includes employing a vertically-oriented lock-in bracket.

Modular building structures improvements

There is provided building structures that are demountable from a first configuration to be reassemblable to the first configuration or another configuration. The building structures include systems and kits for the structure, post anchors, kits for floor structure, method for assembling floor structures, wall and ceiling support systems, electrical junction box supports, and kits for frame assembly.

Bracket

The invention relates to a bracket to restrain a partition wall in the interior of a building. The bracket comprises a body having a generally hollow sheath and a shaft that is slidable within the sheath to adjust the bracket. The bracket is particularly suitable for supporting internal partition walls of buildings that are located in areas prone to earthquakes and high winds because the bracket allows for the wall to be laterally supported while also accommodating vertical movement experienced during building deflection and inter-storey drift without transferring compression and expansion loads onto the partition wall.
