Each said connector (24a,b,c,d) comprises: a downwardly open blind recess (59) with a closed top end (60) and an open bottom end (62); and an upwardly open blind recess (64) with a closed bottom end (66) and an open top end (68). The legs (18) are mounted into the downwardly open blind recesses (59) of the connectors (24a,b,c,d) and the floor beams (20a,b,c) are mounted into the upwardly open blind recesses (64) of the connectors (24a,b,c,d) such that the legs (18) extend downwardly from the floor beams (20a,b,c).

BEAM-COLUMN JOINT STRUCTURE OF PREFABRICATED STEEL STRUCTURE BUILDING

A beam-column node structure of the steel prefabricated building is provided. The structure includes inner sleeves and driving components. The inner sleeves are slidably embedded in the transverse sleeves of the cross beam or node member; the driving components are used to drive the inner sleeves to move from one of the cross beams and the transverse sleeves embedded with the inner sleeves to the other. The inner sleeves are partly located in the crossbeams and partly in the lateral sleeves, and then the internal connection between the crossbeams and the lateral sleeves can be realized by the fasteners.

MODULAR BUILDING CONNECTOR

A locating pin assembly for coupling a first modular frame to a second modular frame is disclosed. The locating pin assembly has a first gusset plate positioned between the first modular frame and the second modular frame. The first gusset plate has a first gusset plate aperture and a second gusset plate aperture for receiving fastening means for coupling the first-modular-frame-first-beam and the second-modular-frame-first-beam the gusset plate. The pin assembly also has a pin engaging the first gusset plate, the first modular frame and the second modular frame. Also disclosed are modular frame units having the pin assembly, system of modular frame units having the pin assembly and a method of coupling modular frame units.

Construction System

A system and method for construction of a framed structure which permits on-site storage and relocation of construction materials using trolleys and cranes supported by the framed structure. The system provides a runway surface for removable attachment of trolleys, crane bridges, and platforms by offsetting the first longitudinal beam and a second longitudinal beam from a cross beam and where the first longitudinal beam, second longitudinal beam, and cross beam of the system provide components for the framed structure.

Bolted beam to column connections

A joint connection structure of a building framework includes a column assembly including a column and a pair of side plates attached to the column on opposite sides of the column and extending laterally outward from the column. A beam assembly includes a beam having an end portion received between the side plates. At least one of the column and the beam has an opening in an area between the side plates to provide access for bolting at least one of the side plates to one of the column and the beam. The opening is free of a fastener extending through the opening when the column assembly is attached to the beam assembly.

Structural steel plug for bi-axial moment connections
11230838 · 2022-01-25 ·

A standardized structural metal plug assembly that, when welded to metal columns and beams, allows to join them together into a bi-axial moment connection without bolts or on-site welding. The plug is assembled in a gravity and interlocking fashion. It is composed of one flange cruciform joint that works as a “male” outward component that channels the beam's “female” inward bracket into its seated and locked position. The column terminals also act as “female” inward component that slips and seats over the flange cruciform joint ends. All the components are lock-in-place to the flange cruciform joint due to various mechanical locking latches attached to the beam brackets and column terminals.
