SYSTEM AND ASSOCIATED METHODS FOR MULTISTORY BUILDING CONSTRUCTION
A multistory building construction system comprising at least one base plate comprising a centrally disposed sleeve extending vertically from a top surface thereof and configured to engage an interior portion of a bottom end of at least one first-floor column comprising a cap plate disposed on a top end thereof with a centrally disposed sleeve extending vertically therefrom configured to engage an exterior portion of a bottom end of at least one upper-floor column and configured to support a decking for a concrete floor and configured so that a top end of the sleeve may be used as a benchmark for pouring the concrete floor, the first-floor column and the upper-floor column further comprising at least one sheer tab for attachment of beams for support of the decking.
Balcony installation
A balcony includes a balcony assembly and a structural post and outrigger system. The structural posts provide structural support for buildings and include the outriggers that extend substantially perpendicularly from the structural posts to a location where the balcony assembly will be installed. The outriggers include a tube or beam and an end plate on an end of the beam distal from the structural post. The balcony assembly includes at least one long beam, a platform, and a locking mechanism on an end of the long beam. The locking mechanism includes a channel for receiving and securing the end plate of the outrigger. The balcony assembly is secured to the outrigger using fasteners.
Construction of the prefabricated column and beam type
A system of construction that performs advanced prefabrication of columnsbeams type structure of buildings, prefabrication which results industrialization of this type of construction. The main development that allows this achievement in the same technical conditions, even better conditions than in the conventional system, is the massive use of braces as well vertically as horizontally. Such a building system is of special interest in areas where seismic risk is high because the building is very lightweight, constituted of a set of structurally self-sufficient units, heavily triangulated and therefore hardly deformable, all these at an affordable cost.
STRUCTURAL MEMBER ASSEMBLIES, BEAMS, AND SUPPORT STRUCTURES COMPRISING SAME
A support column extends in a longitudinal dimension and includes a plurality of outer hollow longitudinal structures. Each longitudinal structure defines an interior passage extending along a length of the longitudinal structure. The support column includes a plurality of inner members. The plurality of outer hollow longitudinal structures are aligned end-to-end along a single axis. The interior passages of the plurality of outer hollow longitudinal structures cooperate to define an interior passage of the support column. The inner members are aligned end-to-end along the single axis within the interior passage of the support column so that opposed longitudinal ends of each of the inner members extend to respective longitudinal ends of each adjacent inner member. At least one end of at least one inner member is longitudinally offset from every longitudinal end of the plurality of outer hollow longitudinal structures.
Building construction method
A building construction method uses wall frames having a moveable top track. The track is fixed in a raised position so as to be load-bearing during construction, allowing construction work to progress quickly. When supporting concrete columns have cured, the fixing can be released allowing the track to move into a lowered position and for the building load to transfer to the columns.
Modular stair system
A method for building modular stair system comprises assembling a plurality of modular stair units, each of the plurality of modular stair units associated with a single story of a construction, each of the plurality of modular stair units further comprising a self-supporting structure supported by a plurality of corner columns. A first modular stair unit is located on a foundation of a structure. The first modular stair unit is secured to the foundation of the structure. A second modular stair unit is stacked on top of the first modular stair unit, wherein a first plurality of corner support columns engage of the first modular stair unit engage a second plurality of corner support columns of the second modular stair unit. The second modular stair unit is leveled using a connection sleeve that slides within the first plurality of corner support columns and the second plurality of corner support columns. The second modular stair unit is connected to the first modular stair unit to maintain the leveled second modular stair unit using the connection sleeve.
INTEGRATED CONSTRUCTION PORTAL
Method and system disclosed herein provides generating a three-dimensional construction grid based on a data file generated by an architectural software, wherein the three-dimensional grid includes three-dimensional position information of various structural building components; displaying the three-dimensional construction grid using a display device of a computing device; receiving information of various non-structural building components, the information including location of the non-structural building components on the three-dimensional grid; associating the non-structural building components to one or more of the structural components of the three-dimensional grid; and automatically generating a plurality of specifications for the non-structural building components.
System and method of constructing a multi-story building utilizing modular components
A building structure system and method includes a plurality of columns each having a uniform shape and size, a plurality of baseplates, a plurality of sleeves, and a plurality of support beams each having a uniform shape and size. Each of the columns include protrusions a first distance from each end of the column. Each sleeve is sized to receive two columns vertically and to position the ends of the received columns together while the protrusions of each of the received columns engage both ends of the sleeve. Apertures on the columns, baseplates and sleeves align to receive connectors. Each of the uniform beams are positioned horizontally between the columns and are joined to a sleeve at both ends. When so positioned, the top end of the sleeve will extend above the beam and flooring material so as to receive another column after the flooring material has cured.
