INSTALLATION AND CONSTRUCTION METHOD OF WALL PANEL
Installation and construction methods for installing a wall panel are provided. The wall panel includes a surface member and a long joint member that extends horizontally, is fixed to one plate surface of the surface member, and is joined to a pair of wooden columns. The method includes: disposing the joint member between the pair of wooden columns; joining both longitudinal ends of the joint member to respective side surfaces, facing each other, of the pair of wooden columns; installing the wooden beam between the pair of wooden columns and adjusting erection of the wooden columns; and fixing an edge of the surface member to front surfaces of the pair of wooden columns and the wooden beam.
Concealed Hanger
A connector joins a beam to a joist, the connector has two members with mating portions. The mating members are provided with shoulders that engage each other and transmit gravity loads between the members and engage angled fasteners to make the connection.
Fastening and alignment member
A connection between a connector, a fastener and one or more structural members is disclosed. The connector can be formed with a fastening and alignment member. The fastening and alignment member includes a projecting member and a protruding member in close proximity to a predetermined location for the fastener.
BUILDING CONSTRUCTION USING BRACED FRAME SLAB ASSEMBLIES HAVING HEAVY PERIMETER RAILS
This invention relates to the construction of a building using Braced Frame Slab Assemblies Having Heavy Perimeter Rails that comprise Floor Slab and Wall Slab Assemblies formed of heavy perimeter Rails, with Rail Frame Connectors, such as a plurality of heavy threaded screws, joining the heavy perimeter Rails to form the Floor Slabs and Wall Slabs. The Slab can then be equipped with joists for floors or studs for walls, and with structural sheathing to provide shear load carrying capacity. The Slab to Slab Connectors also secure juxtaposed Floor Slabs and Wall Slabs.
SMART CORNER AND WALL FRAME SYSTEM
In one aspect, a smart corner is provided that can be prefabricated. The smart corner comprises a rear side including a first hole, a first side including a second hole, a second side including a third hole, and a top. A wall frame is also provided. The wall frame includes a top plate, a bottom plate, studs, and four smart corners. A framing system is also provided comprising at least two wall frames. The at least two wall frames connect via the smart corners.
Connector for two workpieces
The present disclosed subject matter relates to a connector for two workpieces, which are in particular made of wood. The connector comprises a first and a second fitting which may be mounted on one of the workpieces each by their one side and may be anchored to one another by their other sides, and which each have a circumferential edge between their one and other side. At least the first fitting has a projection with an undercut on its other side and the second fitting has a slot, starting from its edge and corresponding to the undercut, for anchoring the projection. At least one of the fittings has a protrusion on its other side and running transverse to the direction of the slot for resting of the edge of the other fitting when the projection is in the position anchored in the slot.
Truss plates for joining members
Herein is disclosed a system for joining pieces of lumber, the system including a truss plate for attaching the pieces of lumber together and a mounting press for mounting the truss plate onto the lumber. The mounting press includes first and second flat plates with the first flat plate having a rod perpendicularly extending from a central portion thereof and the second plate having a centrally located rod aperture for receiving the rod. The rod is mated to a threaded collar and both are configured to press the first and second flat plates together when the collar is threaded onto the rod. The truss plate consists of a flat piece of metal having a plurality of teeth projecting from one side. An aperture is formed on the plate which is dimensioned to receive the rod.
Construction system for structural frameworks of buildings
A construction system for structural frameworks of buildings is described, comprising a first and a second structural elements mutually connected by connecting elements, the first and second structural elements being vertically assembled to make a pillar of the framework, a third and a fourth structural elements mutually connected by connecting elements to make a beam of the framework, the third and fourth structural elements being assembled transversally to the first and second structural elements, the third and/or fourth structural elements being associated as joint to the first and/or to the second structural element, the third and fourth structural elements being further connected to the first and the second structural elements by connecting elements, to make the framework, the first, second, third and fourth structural elements being composed of a panel having height and width greater than the thickness.
ASSEMBLED SLAB STEEL-WOOD COMPOSITE JOINT AND ASSEMBLY METHOD THEREOF
An assembled slab-type steel-wood composite joint, includes a steel-wood composite column, square wood beams, connecting assemblies for connecting the steel-wood composite column and the square wood beams, and wood slabs connected to and supported by the steel-wood composite column, the square wood beams and the connecting assemblies. The steel-wood composite column includes a hollow cross-shaped outer square wood column, and square blocks are integrally formed on the outer square wood column; and a steel sleeve is inlaid in the outer square wood column, an inner wood column is inlaid in the steel sleeve, column vertical steel bars penetrate through the inner wood column, horizontal steel bars penetrate through the square blocks and are fixedly connected to the steel sleeve, and threads are arranged at the ends of the horizontal steel bars.
