Connecting element and method for producing the latter
A connecting element for connecting profile rails and/or profiles of various shape comprises a planar base part which comprises a central web and two lateral limbs which are angled with respect to the web. At least one of the limbs comprises a base part surface section slung out from the web.
Insertion frame structure and housing using same
To enhance the positioning accuracy between primary members and auxiliary members without need of latch parts such as rivets, an insertion frame structure includes: a pair of primary members having L-shaped cross-sections and placed with the L shapes facing to each other symmetrically; and several auxiliary members having angular U-shaped cross-sections between the primary members. The primary members and the auxiliary members are joined at latch portions. The latch portions of the primary members have clearance-shaped latch holes. The latch portions of the auxiliary members have convex portions to be inserted into the latch holes. Each latch hole has a clearance with a larger dimension than a plate thickness t of the auxiliary members, and continuously from the clearance, a clearance with a dimension smaller than the plate thickness t of the auxiliary members.
Hexahedron unit for prefabricated buildings and method of assembling the hexahedron units
The present invention is a technology concerning hexahedron units, and discloses the inventive novel frame structures and frame joint technology for facilitating the assembly of different units. The inventive hexahedron units may be assembled to fit location conditions so as to construct a building regardless of the size and shape of the land, and also disassembled so as to be removed to another place for construction, thus providing high reusability.
LOAD DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM FOR COMPOSITE LUMBER CONSTRUCTION
An assembly for deck construction includes a post having an upper end portion and a lower end portion, the post defining a plurality of internal slots. A base is secured to the lower end portion of the post, and a post-beam cap secured to the upper end portion of the post. The post-beam cap includes a continuous load-bearing upper surface, a lower flanged portion configured to engage the upper end portion of the post, and a plurality of contoured tabs extending from a lower surface of the post-beam cap, wherein the plurality of contoured tabs are configured to engage more than one of the plurality of internal slots of the post. The continuous load-bearing upper surface is configured to abut and distribute loads from a beam of the deck construction to the post, and the beam distributes the loads to the base.
Metrideck Rapid Deployment and Reconfigurable Structural System for temporary or semi-permanent buildings such as trade show displays, corporate lobbies, or Museum Displays
A rapid deployment and reuseable, multi-level structural system called Metrideck that uses traditional types of walls structures and handrail. Metrideck system includes (a) a set of vertical columns each with a set of attachment features; (b) a set of pre-manufactured beams each said beam with a set of attachment features; (c) a Quicset for connecting beam and columns; (d) a deck panel with hardware to attach it to the beams and with slots to attach a hanger bracket to connect to the wall structure; (e) a series of curbing that encircles the deck panel perimeter with a set of attachment features; (f) a stair system; and (g) a set of handrail/guardrails wherein the decking system maintains a modular relationship to the mating wall structures, provides multiple platform configurations, uses fewer components, and provides a higher strength to weight ratio compared to other rapid deployment structural systems.
Profiled beam element for constructing a cellular element
A profiled beam element for constructing a cellular element comprising a top flange, a bottom flange, and a web wherein the top flange and the bottom flange extend in the same direction from the web and together with the web enclose an inner space configured to accommodate at least two further profiled beam elements placed in a sequence. The profiled beam element is characterized in that at least one of the top flange or the bottom flange comprises at least three substantially flat portions interconnected and vertically displaced with respect to each other by interconnecting regions comprising linear interlocking members wherein, the portions and the interlocking members are configured to cooperate with the portions and the interlocking members of further profiled beam elements placed in the sequence in order to fasten profiled beam elements together.
Stud frame connector
A connector for connecting two stud members in a stud wall comprises a block element made from a polymeric material, the block element comprising a main body portion configured for insertion into an end of a first stud member, the main body portion comprising four substantially orthogonal side walls, an engagement slot being provided in a first one of the side walls and the engagement slot extending in a direction towards an opposite second one of the side walls; an attachment portion extending from the main body portion, the attachment portion including a pair of locking wings configured to engage with a second stud member such that, in use, a part of the second stud member is disposed in gaps between the locking wings and the main body portion; and a plate slot extending through a part of the attachment portion and through a part of the main body portion. The connector further comprising a plate element made from a metallic material, the plate element comprising first and second side edges and a notch in each of the first and second side edges, the plate element being disposed in the plate slot of the block element such that the notches of the plate element are aligned with the gaps in the block element.
Building System
A building system (10) comprising a first module (12) having a first and second ring members (14, 16). A channel (24) is provided around each of the ring members (14, 16) and brackets (20) are provided for engagement with the ring members (14, 16). Each bracket (20) comprises a base portion (36) receivable in the channel (24) and connecting portion (38) extending from the base portion (36). The base portion (36) comprises a planar central portion (42) and side portions (40, 41). When received in the channel (24), the side portions (40, 41) are located adjacent and secured to upper and lower walls (30, 31) of the ring members (14, 16). The connecting portion (38) comprises a planar wall portion extending from the central portion (36) to engage with cross members (26) of the building module to support a floor structure or a roof structure.
