Structural steel plug for bi-axial moment connections
11230838 · 2022-01-25 ·

A standardized structural metal plug assembly that, when welded to metal columns and beams, allows to join them together into a bi-axial moment connection without bolts or on-site welding. The plug is assembled in a gravity and interlocking fashion. It is composed of one flange cruciform joint that works as a “male” outward component that channels the beam's “female” inward bracket into its seated and locked position. The column terminals also act as “female” inward component that slips and seats over the flange cruciform joint ends. All the components are lock-in-place to the flange cruciform joint due to various mechanical locking latches attached to the beam brackets and column terminals.

An assembled structure system includes a prefabricated member, a fastener and a locking member. The prefabricated member is provided with at least one cavity, and the fastener is assembled in the at least one cavity. At least one fastener is assembled in each cavity. The cavity includes an upper end surface, a lower end surface, a left end surface and a right end surface. The left end surface or the right end surface includes a vertical surface perpendicularly connected to the upper end surface and an inclined surface connected to the vertical surface. A connection angle between the vertical surface and the outer side of the inclined surface forms an obtuse angle. The inclined surface is connected to the lower end surface. The fastener includes a fixed surface, two side surfaces and a bottom surface. The fixed surface, the two side surfaces and the bottom surface are hingedly connected.

Modular furniture system

A modular framework having a plurality of elongate structural members interconnected by brackets is provided. Each of the brackets includes at least one tubular socket to receive a structural member, and an array of holes is provided on a face of the socket to permit connection of an attachment to the bracket to support ancillary components.

Method and module system for building a wall structure
11788275 · 2023-10-17 · ·

A method and a module system for building purposes by using a module system is provided, said module system including a plurality of mutually equal-sized basic components, which are assembled for a wall structure in one or more vertical planes by installing the same in connection with each other side by side and on top of each other. The wall structure is put together from substantially thin-walled basic components, which are open at ends thereof opposite in a lengthwise direction thereof and have an open internal space, and which are coupled to each other side by side and on top of each other with connection pieces capable of being connected with a first form locking joint to lengthwise coupling arrangements present on each external side thereof. The basic components are coupled to each other with an end block interconnecting the basic components by the opposite ends thereof.

Connector and method of use of same

A connector includes a first body, a second body, a first fastener, and a second fastener. The first body has a base portion and a protrusion, the protrusion extends away from the base portion along a first direction, and the first body has a first cavity that extends into the protrusion and towards the base portion along the first direction. The second body has a second cavity, which is shaped to receive the protrusion such that rotation of the first body relative to the second body is blocked. The connector may be used to attach structural members, for example during the construction of a modular structure.

ELONGATED SECTION FOR CONSTRUCTION STRUCTURES

The present disclosure generally relates to an elongated section (101) for construction structures (300). The elongated section (101) comprises a plurality of sides (102), each side (102) comprising a first retaining channel (104) and a second retaining channel (105) adjacent a respective corner (106) of the elongated section (101), the first and second retaining channels (104,105) being a minor image of each other. Each retaining channel (104,105) is configured for engaging a respective retaining member (201) for supporting a structural panel (301) between the retaining members (201). Each retaining channel (104,105) comprises a channel slot (197) extending perpendicularly into the side (102), the channel slot (197) for engaging a first end (204) of the respective retaining member (201); and a channel end (198) opposite to the channel slot (197) for engaging a second end (206) of the respective retaining member (201).
