PANELIZED STRUCTURAL BUILDING SYSTEM
One variation of a panelized structural building system includes, a set of wall panels, each including: an outer face; a set of hardpoints, each arranged proximal a corner of the outer face, defining a lateral wall panel datum facing outwardly from a side of the wall panel, and defining an exterior faade mount facing outwardly from the outer face; and a load-bearing structure extending between the set of hardpoints and inset from a maximal wall panel perimeter defined by the set of hardpoints; wherein the set of wall panels are assemblable into a wall with lateral wall panel datumsdefined by hardpoints in adjacent wall panelsabutting to laterally space the set of wall panels along the wall. The system also includes a set of exterior faade panels configured to install onto exterior faade mountsdefined hardpoints in adjacent wall panelsto conceal outer faces of these wall panels.
MODULAR BUILDING COMPONENTS, SYSTEMS, AND METHODS THEREOF
Disclosed is a modular building system including, in some embodiments, one or more wall panels, one or more floor panels, and one or more roof panels. The modular building components of the modular building system including the one or more wall panels, the one or more floor panels, and the one or more roof panels can faun housing or storage structures with electrical wiring, plumbing, or both wiring and plumbing. The housing or storage structures can be erected by one or more persons without a need for a plumber, an electrician, or power tools. Also disclosed is a method for erecting one or more housing or storage structure in accordance with the modular building system.
Modular assembly shelter kits and methods
In one embodiment, a modular assembly shelter kit is provided for rapid deployment in a remote location. The shelter kit includes headers, footers, upper horizontal beams, lower horizontal beams, roof, floor, and wall panels, and vertical support columns. The horizontal beams have notched hooks which form cross joints when engaged with notched hooks of adjacent horizontal beams. The cross joints can be placed against the headers or footers, and caged into position by prongs of the vertical support columns. The horizontal beams can also include grooves for holding interior and exterior wall panels, and interior ledges for holding roof and floor panels. Unique geometrically designed components deployed military or humanitarian responders with the ability to quickly manufacture and install such shelters in a wide variety of environments.
CONNECTION FASTENER, CONNECTION ASSEMBLY AND CONNECTION MECHANISM USING SAME
Disclosed are a connection fastener, a connection assembly and a connection structure using the same. By arranging an adjustment component with a first gear and at least one follow-up component with a second gear, the rotation of the first gear of the adjustment component drives the second gear connected therewith to rotate, and then a fastening part of the follow-up component rotates with the second gear, and a circumferential rotation force applied to the fastening part by the gears is converted into an axial force of the fastening part through threads, so as to tighten and fix two or more structural members at an arbitrary angle, thereby achieving a simple, fast and stable connection for a complex structure.
Modular building components, systems, and methods thereof
Disclosed is a modular building system including, in some embodiments, one or more wall panels, one or more floor panels, and one or more roof panels. The modular building components of the modular building system including the one or more wall panels, the one or more floor panels, and the one or more roof panels can form housing or storage structures with electrical wiring, plumbing, or both wiring and plumbing. The housing or storage structures can be erected by one or more persons without a need for a plumber, an electrician, or power tools. Also disclosed is a method for erecting one or more housing or storage structure in accordance with the modular building system.
IMPROVEMENTS IN MODULAR CONSTRUCTION SYSTEMS
A joining system is provided for connecting first and second building construction members. The system includes a female dog (18) that connects to the first building construction member (14) and includes first and second female dog receiving surfaces (20,22), which face generally away from each other, and are adjacent an aperture (24) defining an axis. The system further includes a male dog (32) that is connectable to the second building construction member (16) and includes first and second male dog clamping surfaces (33,34) which generally face each other. The male dog (32) inserts through the aperture (24) and moves in a first lateral direction to clamp the female dog (18). A locking arrangement (42) includes first and second locking structures (44,46) which engage to permit movement of the male dog (32) in the first lateral direction to increase a clamping force on the female dog (18), and inhibit movement opposite the first lateral direction.
Modular construction connection mechanism
A system for securing modular building units to each other and a method for assembling structures using said method is disclosed. The disclosed system allows for modules to be connected to each other from an external position, without a person having to enter the modules to fasten components internally. The system and method may be used to build structures using prefabricated modules, avoiding significant amounts of onsite labor and drastically reducing the time required to erect structures.
PREFABRICATED STRUCTURAL PANEL, MANUFACTURING METHOD AND STRUCTURAL SYSTEM
A prefabricated structural panel is for a structural construction system. The panel defines a panel plane with a peripheral edge for connections, and includes a load-bearing frame made of concrete, steel or wood substantially coplanar with the panel plane. The load-bearing frame defines a through opening transverse to the panel plane. The panel includes a blind or glass filling layer in the load-bearing frame to close the through opening. The panel is completed in an assembly line with layers of different materials assembled on both sides of the load-bearing frame and the filling layer, on an inner side of the filling element. A covering layer fixed to metal profiles defines a gap for air circulation. Layers of isolating materials create thermal and acoustic insulation on an outer side of the load-bearing frame and filling element. The prefabricated panels are assembled by a geometric interlocking coupling and form housing units.
