FIRE-RATED JOINT SYSTEM
A fire-rated angle piece and wall assemblies or other assemblies that incorporate the fire-rated angle piece, in which the angle piece can include an intumescent or other fire-resistant material strip. The angle can be attached adjacent to a corner of a framing member, such as metal tracks, headers, header tracks, sill plates, bottom tracks, metal studs, wood studs or wall partitions, and placed between the framing member and a wall board member at a perimeter of a wall assembly to create a fire block arrangement. A fire spray material can be applied over a portion of the angle piece.
Structural Attachment Sealing System
A mounting device includes a base having an internal cavity, a top, and an open bottom in communication with the internal cavity. The device includes a first upper member above the base, wherein the first upper member extends upwardly from the base, and a second upper member is above the base, wherein the second upper member extends upwardly from the base. The device further includes a fastener opening formed though the base for receiving a fastener when the mounting device is secured to a roof. The fastener opening is in communication with the internal cavity.
Structural Attachment Sealing System
A mounting device including a base having an internal cavity and an upper portion above the base. The upper portion extends upward from the base and includes a vertical member defining opposed first and second faces above the base. An aperture is formed through the upper portion and extends through the first and second faces. The base extends outward, beyond each of the first and second faces.
Structural Attachment Sealing System
A mounting device including a base having an open bottom, a longitudinal axis, and a linear guide on the base. The linear guide guides support hardware in linear movement along the longitudinal axis. An internal cavity is under the base for containing a sealant against and in cooperation with a roof when the mounting device is secured to the roof. An opening is though the base is for receiving a fastener when the mounting device is secured to the roof. The opening is in communication with the internal cavity. The linear guide extends beyond the internal cavity.
STRUCTURAL GAP FILLER AND RELATED METHOD OF USE
An elongated gap filler is provided including a first panel and a second panel in a V configuration joined at an apex, a first extension wall extending from the first panel, a first sealer wall extending downward and transversely to the first extension wall, and a second extension wall extending from the second panel. The first sealer wall can seal against a surface of a wall and set a depth of insertion of the first and second panels and first extension wall into a gap between building surfaces, e.g., a wall top and a ceiling or roof. The second extension wall can be arcuate and can bend against the ceiling or roof. The first sealer wall can be arcuate and can bend against a vertical wall surface. The apex can include a U-shaped groove to enhance articulation of the panels. A related method of use also is provided.
Insulating and Sealing System for Joints of Joinery Construction Elements, Especially Windows and Exterior Doors
A sealing system for joints of joinery construction elements, especially windows and exit doors, includes an insulating material, an internal sealing layer disposed over an interior surface of the insulating material and an external sealing layer disposed over an exterior surface of the insulating material. The internal sealing layer has a low vapor permeability with an equivalent diffusion resistance factor (Sd) equal to or greater than 30 m, and the external sealing layer has a vapor permeability greater than the vapor permeability of the internal sealing layer with an equivalent diffusion resistance factor (Sd) not greater than 2 m.
Vapor permeable water and fire-resistant expansion joint seal having a closed cell foam member, and permitting varied compressibility and height differentials
The present disclosure relates generally to systems for providing a durable water-resistant and fire-resistant foam-based seal in the joint between adjacent panels. A fire-resistant and water-resistant expansion joint seal is provided which includes one or more foam members and a plurality of intumescent members interspersed within the foam member or members to provide a spring recovery force and fire resistance.
Auxetic expansion joint seal
The present disclosure relates generally to systems for providing a durable water-resistant and fire-resistant foam-based seal in the joint between adjacent panels. A fire-resistant and water-resistant expansion joint seal is provided which includes one or more foam members and a plurality of intumescent members interspersed within the foam member or members to provide a spring recovery force and fire resistance.
Vapor-permeable water and fire-resistant expansion joint seal with foam cap
The present disclosure relates generally to systems for providing a durable water-resistant and fire-resistant foam-based seal in the joint between adjacent panels. A fire-resistant and water-resistant expansion joint seal is provided which includes one or more foam members and a plurality of intumescent members interspersed within the foam member or members to provide a spring recovery force and fire resistance.
Structural attachment sealing system
In various representative aspects, the present invention relates generally to a system and apparatuses for sealing a structural attachment to a flat or shingle roof. More specifically, the invention relates to providing the system for sealing structural attachments for solar panel mounts for rail guides. The invention utilizes an adhesive sealant to create a permanent watertight seal at any surface penetration. The system may be used for any structural attachment, fastener, mount, or other penetration that requires sealing. Typical building applications include roof penetrations and wall penetrations for cases such as roof vents, structural attachment, conduit or pipe penetrations, or electrical mounts to name a few.
