Dowel bar assembly and mechanical connector
A mechanical connector for securing a dowel rod to a frame of a dowel bar assembly as well as a dowel bar assembly are detailed. Each embodiment of the mechanical connector includes a portion to receive the dowel bar. A second portion of the mechanical connector engages the frame of the dowel bar assembly. A third portion of the mechanical connector engages a separate part of the frame further stabilizing the mechanical connector and frame.
Wall seal system
A flexible seal system for provision of a substantially watertight seal between adjacent concrete panels; said system comprising a first flexible seal member proximate a first end of one said concrete panel; said first flexible seal member including a surface component extending over a portion of an outer surface of said concrete panel; said surface component extending from at least one anchor component projecting from said surface component and embedded within said concrete panel; said first flexible seal member further including an overlap component extending from said surface component beyond said first end of said concrete panel; and
a second flexible seal member proximate a second opposite end of an abutting said concrete panel; said second flexible seal member including a surface component extending over a portion of a surface of said abutting concrete panel; said surface component of said second flexible seal member extending from at least one anchor component projecting from said surface component and embedded within said abutting concrete panel; and
wherein the overlap component of the first flexible seal member is structured and selected in use to overlap the surface component of the second flexible seal member sufficient to permit welding of at least a portion of said overlap component of said first flexible seal member to at least a portion of said surface component of said second flexible seal member so as to form a continuous welded seal between and along the length of said first flexible seal member and said second flexible seal member.
EXTERIOR WALL SYSTEM
A vertical exterior wall system has an exterior substrate and a control joint disposed on the substrate. A building material such as stucco covers a base plate of the control joint. An A-shaped ridge extends from the based plate of the control joint and is disposed between a first area of the building material and a second area of the building material, defining a gap. A sealant may be disposed in the gap and may cover the A-shaped ridge, adhering to building materials of the first area and the second area.
Auxetic Expansion Joint Seal
The present disclosure relates generally to systems for providing a durable water-resistant and fire-resistant foam-based seal in the joint between adjacent panels. A fire-resistant and water-resistant expansion joint seal is provided which includes one or more foam members and a plurality of intumescent members interspersed within the foam member or members to provide a spring recovery force and fire resistance.
Storage tank floor-wall joint connection device
The invention concerns a floor-to-wall joint connection BearStop device for providing both a water-tight seal, as well as load-bearing and flexibility between two closely abutting or adjacent structures, such as the wall and foundation of a storage tank. Embodiments also provide motion or sliding capabilities to accommodate expansion and contraction in the joint area between the wall and the foundation. A knee section provides a testing channel usable for testing the integrity of the seal.
Stackable expansion joint frame assembly
A system for attaching a flexible expansion joint to the surface of a building such as the floor of a building. The system for attaching the joint is configured to secure the joint and provide, in effect, a form up to which a top coat of material such as concrete or asphalt can applied over an existing floor structure. The system provides a universal base unit upon which common extension units can be attached and stacked to vary the height of the form for the surface coat.
Moisture barrier system
A moisture barrier system, comprising a barrier sheet adapted to be installed on a building having an interior wall structure and an exterior wall structure spaced apart from the interior wall structure to define a cavity there between.
Water- and Fire-Resistant Expansion Joint Seal With Springing Intumescent Member
Vapor-Permeable Water and Fire-Resistant Expansion Joint Seal with Foam Cap
The present disclosure relates generally to systems for providing a durable water-resistant and fire-resistant foam-based seal in the joint between adjacent panels. A fire-resistant and water-resistant expansion joint seal is provided which includes one or more foam members and a plurality of intumescent members interspersed within the foam member or members to provide a spring recovery force and fire resistance.
Vapor Permeable Water and Fire-Resistant Expansion Joint Seal with Internal Wave Pattern
