Expansion joint system with flexible sheeting and three layers and interior members
The present disclosure relates generally to systems for providing a durable water-resistant and fire-resistant foam-based seal in the joint between adjacent panels. An expansion joint seal, which may be fire-resistant and/or water-resistant, is provided which includes one or more body members, a fire retardant member, which may be of an intumescent member, interspersed within the body member or members, a plurality of resilient members to provide a spring recovery force and fire resistance, and a connector of at least two of the resilient members, which connect each of the resilient members to a cover plant or may connect the two resilient members to one another.
Longspan Stay-in-Place Liners
A structure-lining apparatus comprising a plurality of transversely and longitudinally extending panels connectable to a structure and connectable edge-to-edge via complementary connector components on their longitudinally extending edges. Each panel comprises transversely extending edges generally orthogonal to their longitudinally extending edges. Each panel comprises first and second complementary connector components on first and second longitudinally extending edges thereof. The apparatus comprises at least one edge-to-edge connection between a first connector component of a first panel and a second connector component of a second panel wherein a primary male connector component of the second connector component of the second panel is extended into a primary female connector component of the first connector component of the first panel and a secondary male connector component of the first connector component of the first panel is extended into a secondary female connector component of the second connector component of the second panel.
Method and apparatus for producing a tubular sealing element
A method for producing of a tubular sealing element for sealing a safing slot in a curtain wall construction is described, particularly for sealing the slot with regard to noise, smoke, and fire and if applicable with regard to water, and an apparatus for producing such a tubular sealing element, as well as to the use of the tubular sealing element produced according to the invention for fire-, smoke-, sound- and water-proof sealing of perimeter joints in curtain wall constructions are described. In particular, an improved method for continuous and endless production of a tubular sealing element for different safing slot dimensions is described.
PROCESS FOR ASSEMBLING A UNITIZED PANEL FOR USE WITHIN AN EXTERIOR DYNAMIC CURTAIN WALL ASSEMBLY
Described is an approved dynamic construction for effectively thermally insulating and sealing of a safing slot between a floor of a building and an exterior wall construction wherein the exterior wall construction comprises a curtain wall configuration defined by an interior wall glass surface including one or more aluminum framing members. In particular, a process for assembling a unitized panel for use within an exterior dynamic curtain wall assembly, which includes glass, especially vision glass extending to the finished floor level below, is described as well as a unitized panel assembled according to said process and its installation to improve fire stopping at the safing slot.
Wet seal system
This disclosure discloses a wet seal system for use with a wall comprised of exterior insulated wall panels wherein the wet seal system is used with caulking to seal the joints between the exterior insulated wall panels. The wet seal system generally comprises a vertical seal, a horizontal seal, an upper wet core plug and a lower wet core plug, wherein each of the vertical seal, horizontal seal, upper wet core plug and lower wet core plug is configured to compress such that the wet seal system can seal walls with large construction tolerances.
VERTICAL SEAL AND EXTERIOR WALL SYSTEM USING SAME
A vertical seal for use with a first and second exterior panels, the vertical seal including a first pair of opposed sides and a second pair of opposed sides. The second pair of opposed sides extend between the first pair of opposed sides, and the second pair of opposed sides have bends formed therein such that first pair of opposed sides are moveable towards each other under pressure. When the vertical seal is positioned between the first and second exterior panels and a seal is formed therebetween. An exterior wall system includes a plurality of exterior panels, a plurality of vertical seals operably connected between horizontally adjacent exterior panels and a plurality of horizontal seals between vertically adjacent panels.
Structure-lining apparatus with adjustable width and tool for same
A structure-lining apparatus for lining one or more surfaces of a structure formed from curable material cast in a form. The apparatus comprises a plurality of panels. The panels are connected at their respective edges in an edge-to-edge connection to provide a structure-lining surface. A plurality of anchoring components project from the panels into the liquid material during fabrication of the structure. The anchoring components each comprise one or more anchoring features which are encased in the material as the material solidifies to thereby bond the anchoring components to the structure. The plurality of anchoring components comprises one or more connector-type anchoring components for connecting to corresponding connector-type anchoring components on adjacent edges of a corresponding edge-adjacent panel to connect the edge-adjacent panels in an edge-adjacent relationship. The apparatus comprises one or more breakaway components on at least one of the plurality of panels.
Cementitious Panels with Swellable Materials and Methods of Providing a Moisture or Water Barrier in Cementitious Panels Using Swellable Materials
Provided are cementitious panel that include a swellable material within a core layer, a dense layer, and/or a sheet of facing material that make up a cementitious panel, as well as methods of manufacturing such cementitious panels that include a swellable material and methods of providing a moisture or water barrier in a cementitious panel.
Process for assembling a unitized panel for use within an exterior dynamic curtain wall assembly
An approved dynamic construction is used for effectively thermally insulating and sealing of a safing slot between a floor of a building and an exterior wall construction, wherein the exterior wall construction includes a curtain wall configuration defined by an interior wall glass surface, including one or more aluminum framing members. In particular, a process for assembling a unitized panel for use within an exterior dynamic curtain wall assembly, which includes glass, especially vision glass extending to the finished floor level below, is described as well as a unitized panel assembled according to said process and its installation to improve fire stopping at the safing slot.
