A cover for a vent that is disposed within an aperture is provided herein. The aperture is formed by first, second, third, and fourth wall surfaces of a foundation wall. The cover comprises a piece of material that defines a first cover surface having a first protuberance surrounding a generally rectangular planar portion. The protuberance and planar portion cooperate to define a concavity. The protuberance is configured to contact the vent and thereby form a seal. In one embodiment, the cover includes another protuberance that extends along the periphery of the cover and is configured to contact the first, second, third, and fourth wall surfaces to form yet another seal.

A vented and water control paneling has improved drainage and integrated ventilation air space. The water control paneling may be fabricated with an omnidirectional relief pattern formed on its back surface. The relief pattern spaces the vented and water control paneling away from a structure to which it is secured, thereby providing an omnidirectional drainage plane between the back surface of the paneling and the structure. The omnidirectional drainage plane provides an unimpeded ventilation and drainage path of water and/or water vapor.

FLOOD VENT HAVING A PANEL

According to one embodiment, a flood vent panel includes a plurality of insulation pieces positioned together, and a panel frame surrounding the plurality of insulation pieces. The flood vent panel is configured to be coupled to a frame positionable on a structure, so as to at least partially block a fluid passageway through an opening in the structure. Each of the plurality of insulation pieces is separate from the other insulation pieces of the plurality of insulation pieces. Each of the plurality of insulation pieces is separate from the panel frame.
