Rain screen siding system
RE047495 · 2019-07-09 · ·

A rain-screen siding system for buildings, including clips to support siding boards parallel with a flat surface of a building wall structure but spaced apart from the building wall to allow air to circulate between the building wall structure and the siding boards. The clips include paired, opposed channels and the siding boards have tongues that fit into the channels. Drainage grooves are defined in the clips. Bottom support members may extend horizontally to support the siding boards at the bottom of the rain screen siding. Corner closing members are provided to protect end faces of siding boards at an exterior corner of a building wall.

FLOOD VENT HAVING A PANEL

According to one embodiment, a flood vent panel includes a plurality of insulation pieces positioned together, and a panel frame surrounding the plurality of insulation pieces. The flood vent panel is configured to be coupled to a frame positionable on a structure, so as to at least partially block a fluid passageway through an opening in the structure. Each of the plurality of insulation pieces is separate from the other insulation pieces of the plurality of insulation pieces. Each of the plurality of insulation pieces is separate from the panel frame.

BELOW TOP OF WALL VENTILATION SCREED DEVICE AND ASSEMBLY

A ventilation screed having an upper attachment flange having a top portion and a bottom portion and at least one opening in the top portion; a drip edge protruding from the bottom portion of the upper attachment flange; a drainage cavity protrusion protruding from the bottom portion of the upper attachment flange above the drip edge, wherein the drainage cavity has an L-shaped drainage trough portion having at least one drainage opening in a bottom portion, an upper ground portion in communication with the L-shaped drainage trough portion and a drainage cavity shroud in communication with the upper ground portion, wherein the drainage cavity shroud extends past the drip edge.

TOP OF WALL VENTILATION SCREED DEVICE AND ASSEMBLY

A ventilation screed comprising: a perforated attachment flange portion that is substantially vertical and has a top end and a bottom end and at least one perforation between the top end and the bottom end; a three sided cavity portion having a first side that is substantially horizontal having a left portion and a right portion, a second side that is substantially vertical having a top portion and a bottom portion and the top portion is in communication with the left portion of the first side at a substantially 90 degree angle to the first side and a third side that is between the bottom portion of the second side and the top end of the perforated attachment flange portion at an angle that slopes downwardly, wherein the third side has at least one ventilation opening; and a ventilation spacer along an underside of the three sided cavity portion.

Composite insulating panel

An insulating siding panel comprises a backing member, and a siding member. The backing member comprises a front face, a rear face, a top face, and a bottom face. The siding member has an upper end, a lower end, and a nailing divot. An upper end of the backing member combines with the upper end of the siding member to form a tongue. A groove is defined in the bottom face of the backing member that is complementary in shape to the tongue. the nailing divot of the lower panel may be concealed by a front section of the backing member of the upper panel.

The web frame is a bonded assembly of panels and porous blanket layers, separated by an arrangement of isolated spacers. The panels and spacers are covered with a bonding means. A coating covers inner surfaces of the panels and spacers. The porous blanket is compressed and pinned between these panels, by spacers that are arranged as isolated nodes or columns The spacers have sharpened ends that penetrate the blanket and connect with the opposing panel. The web frame assembly provides thermal and sound insulation for buildings and other solid objects. These web frames are lightweight, durable, and permeable. Capillaries and passages throughout the panels and fibers of the blanket allow passage of moisture and air, thereby assisting in the management of condensation within the web frame.
