Apparatus for drying a water damaged floor structure
A drying apparatus for a water damaged floor structure having an intermediate layer between a surface layer and a subfloor, which drying device comprises a suction blower for, from an outlet opening in the floor structure, drawing humidified process air from the intermediate layer and heating the humidified air, and a sorption dehumidifier to receive the heated process air from the suction blower, convert it to heated dry air and, through an inlet opening in the floor structure, separate from the outlet port, force the heated dry air to the intermediate layer, where the heated dry air accumulates moisture from the floor structure and is converted to new process air which is again sucked up and heated by the suction blower in a closed process. According to the invention, the dryer has a PTC element for a sorbent block in the dehumidifier, a common housing for the suction fan and dehumidifiers, and a sound and heat insulation in the housing.
Fluid movement device
According to the present invention there is provided a fluid movement device suitable for drying adjacent surfaces such as floors, walls or ceilings or items such as furniture, in which the device comprises an inlet for receiving pressurised fluid, and at least one vent to direct said fluid towards said surfaces or items, and at least one pathway to allow escape of humid air generated through drying from the surface being dried to the surrounding environment.
DEVICE AND SYSTEM FOR GAS INJECTION IN AND EXTRACTION FROM A BUILDING STRUCTURE
The present disclosure relates to a device and a system for gas injection in cavities of building structures, particularly for drying, decontaminating or drying and decontaminating building structures. The present disclosure also relates to a device and a system for gas extraction from cavities of building structures, particularly for drying, or for drying and decontaminating building structures. The present disclosure also generally relates to a system for monitoring parameters of a gas injection/extraction process using the device and system provided herein.
Method, arrangement, lid and adapter for drying a water damaged floor
A water damaged floor (10) is dried by forming an opening (18) in a flooring (14) of the floor and creating and forcing an airflow from a surrounding space (28) through the opening (18) into a ventilating space between the flooring (14) and a subfloor (22). According to the invention, an end portion of the flooring (14) is elevated from the subfloor (22) for creating said ventilating space and for creating an air passage (27) between the ventilating space and the surrounding space (28) at an edge of the flooring (14).
Universal Air Interface
An air interface of a flexible and airtight material includes a first ring and a second ring (both adjustable in size), a first ring holder to removably hold the first ring, a second ring holder to removably hold the second ring, a cord holder, and a cord with a lock-and-release mechanism to adjust its effective length. The first and second ring holder and the cord holder create a saddle between the first ring and the second ring, and an extension between the second ring and the cord. The extension can be wrapped over the saddle and back up to create a pocket. A flexible duct can be wrapped around the second ring. The end of the flexible duct can be thickened or tightened and inserted into the pocket. The flexible duct is trapped in (or released from) the pocket by adjusting the cord's effective length.
METHOD, ARRANGEMENT, LID AND ADAPTER FOR DRYING A WATER DAMAGED FLOOR
A water damaged floor (10) is dried by forming an opening (18) in a flooring (14) of the floor and creating and forcing an airflow from a surrounding space (28) through the opening (18) into a ventilating space between the flooring (14) and a sub-floor (22). According to the invention, an end portion of the flooring (14) is elevated from the subfloor (22) for creating said ventilating space and for creating an air passage (27) between the ventilating space and the surrounding space (28) at an edge of the flooring (14).
Method and device in a floor structure drying process
A method and device for holding a subsurface layer of an elevated flooring portion of a floor structure at a distance from a subfloor in a vicinity of an opening in the flooring portion during a process of drying the floor structure. According to the invention there is provided at least one rod having a substantially perpendicularly angled end. The rod is inserted below the subsurface layer through the opening and the angled end of the rod is attached to an edge of a surface layer in the opening of the flooring portion in a manner that the rod supports the subsurface layer at said distance from the subfloor when the flooring portion is elevated.
Method and arrangement in a floor structure drying process
A method and arrangement for drying a water damaged sandwiched floor structure including a top concrete layer, an air permeable isolating layer and a concrete subfloor, comprising providing an air inlet opening and an air outlet opening through the concrete layer, and continuously in a closed loop flowing air through the isolating layer via the openings by a blower and a dehumidifier in serial connection. According to the invention the blower is a suction blower, whereby air is drawn from the outlet opening by the suction blower, and dry air is forced into the inlet opening by the dehumidifier.
