Polymer-Based Bracket System For Metal Panels
A system for supporting exterior panels on a substrate of a building structure. The system has a plurality of polymeric bracket members, and each of the bracket members have at least one anchor section, at least one web section and at least one support section. The polymeric bracket members provide a thermal break from the exterior panel to the substrate of the building structure. A plurality of exterior cladding units are held in place by the bracket members. A plurality of vents are disposed between the panels and the exterior panels, and a plurality of vents are also disposed between the panels and the substrate, thereby forming a ventilation system.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS OF PRODUCING COMPONENTS FOR USE IN THE CONSTRUCTION OF MODULAR BUILDING UNITS
Disclosed herein are various systems, sub-system, and methods for the manufacture of a wall module for using in building a modular construction unit, e.g., for using in building residential homes, commercial offices, educational or service facilities, etc. using a substantially entirely automated modular construction technique. According to the disclosure herein, the resulting wall module includes an internal wall frame including wall studs attached between a top plate and a bottom plate, with, in some embodiment, one or more framing sub-assemblies attached therein to define openings through the wall module. The wall frame has suitable panel members the respective surfaces thereof corresponding to the interior and exterior surfaces of the modular construction unit. The wall frames, when completely assembled, can be transported to be assembled with other constituent components of the modular construction unit to complete the manufacture of the modular construction unit.
AUTOMATED SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR FLOOR AND CEILING UNITS IN THE CONSTRUCTION OF MODULAR BUILDING UNITS
A system and method for assembling framing assemblies for use as ceiling or floor structures of modular building units using automation are disclosed. The framing assemblies include trusses that are attached at the lateral edges thereof by a joist including at least one layer of dimensional lumber to form a substantially rigid framework. Cover panels are positioned over and attached to an inner surface of the framing assembly.
METHOD OF MANUFACTURING FLEXIBLE INSULATING ELEMENT WITH RECYCLED EXPANDED POLYSTYRENE FOAM
A method of recycling expanded polystyrene foam into flexible insulation elements that are made from 100% recycled material.
Modified OSB board and its use in walls for house building systems
The present invention relates to a modified OSB board (oriented strand board) with an upper side and a lower side. The upper and/or lower side of the board are coated with at least two paper layers. The first paper layer is impregnated with at least one resin and the second paper layer is a raw paper layer. The invention relates further to a construction wall for a house building system, to a partition wall for a house building system and a house building system.
Structural insulated finished cladding assemblies
An exterior building panel includes a panel body having a polymeric framing arrangement including an outer boundary portion extending around an outer perimeter of the panel body and a plurality of crossing frame members extending between opposed first and second sides of the outer boundary portion to define a plurality of cavities surrounded by the outer boundary portion, core insulation material disposed in each of the plurality of cavities, an insulation layer surrounding the framing arrangement and the core insulation material, and an insulating lamina coating covering the insulation layer.

THERMAL INSULATION PROPERTIES OF POLYISO FOAMS
Embodiments may include an insulated structure. The insulated structure may include a plurality of structural support members coupled together to form a frame. The insulated structure may also include a plurality of first wall boards attached to an exterior side of the frame to form an exterior wall or surface of the structure. The insulated structure may further include a spray foam insulation positioned within at least one of the wall cavities of the structure. The spray foam insulation may have an insulative R-value greater than or equal to 6.0 per inch at 40 F. The spray foam formulation may be made from a formulation that includes a reaction product of a polyisocyanate compound and a polyol compound and a blowing agent. The blowing agent may include a mixture of n-pentane and isopentane, where the mixture is at least 75% isopentane.
STRUCTURAL INSULATED PANEL FRAMING SYSTEM
Systems and methods are disclosed herein to a structural insulated panel framing system comprising: insulation sheathing receivable by a wall jig; a frame for placement atop the insulation sheathing; and spray foam for application to the frame and the insulation sheathing to fuse the frame and insulation sheathing to produce a structural insulated panel.
Automated insulation application system and method
An automated insulation application system that includes a robotic arm and an insulation end effector coupled at a distal end of the robotic arm, the insulation end effector configured to apply insulation material to a target surface. The system can further include a computing device executing a computational planner that: generates instructions for driving the insulation end effector and robotic arm to perform at least one insulation application task that includes applying insulation material via the insulation end effector to a target surface, the generating based at least in part on obtained target surface data; and drives the end effector and robotic arm to perform the at least one insulation application task.
