SHEAR PANEL BUILDING MATERIAL
A shear panel building material that includes a first facing membrane, a core matrix disposed on a face of the first facing membrane, and a semi-rigid or rigid material attached to the core matrix. The core matrix can include microspheres having a size of about 200 microns to about 800 microns, sodium silicate, and ethylene vinyl acetate. In one aspect, the shear panel is substantially free from glue and cement.
Insulating spheres and method of manufacturing same
The present invention is a thermal and acoustic insulating sphere that has an evacuated hollow interior. The spheres are constructed of insulating materials, and the inner and outer surfaces of each sphere have highly reflective coatings evenly applied to them. The coatings applied to the inner and outer surfaces reduce the transmission of heat by conduction, convection, and radiation. Additionally, the spheres provide superior acoustic insulation due to the inability of sound to travel through the interior vacuum. The spheres can be used to produce insulating materials, for example, by embedding or positioning them within or between other materials, to provide thermal and acoustic insulation.

Multiwall sheet and methods of using the same
In one embodiment, a multiwall sheet can comprise: a first wall; a second wall; an intermediate wall disposed between the first wall and the second wall; a first set of ribs disposed between the first wall and the intermediate wall; a second set of ribs disposed between the second wall and the intermediate wall; a cavity disposed between adjacent ribs; wherein the multiwall sheet is configured to expand and/or collapse when a mechanical force (preferably shear force) is applied to the intermediate wall. Preferably the multiwall sheet has a flexural rigidity of greater than or equal to 10 N/mm.

Highly fire-resistant expanded polymeric material
A highly fire-resistant expanded polymeric material for thermal insulation, acoustic insulation and/or fire barrier contains rubber, expandable graphite, at least one alkaline earth metal component selected from alkaline earth metal carbonates, alkaline earth metal hydroxides, hydrates of either, and combinations thereof, and a component containing silica or a silicate. The expanded polymeric material is preferably manufactured by a process including decomposition of a chemical blowing agent.
INSULATION BOARD WITH IMPROVED PERFORMANCE
A roof assembly, having: a roof deck; an insulation board assembly mounted onto the roof deck; and a roofing membrane adhered onto the insulation board assembly, wherein the insulation board assembly comprises: a foam insulation board, a woven top facer on a top side of the foam insulation board, and a woven bottom facer on a bottom side of the foam insulation board.

Wallboard with Foam Material Layer
Provided are wallboard panels that include a foam material layer and a core material, with one or more sheets of facer material and/or one or more sheets of backing material. The foam material layer may include one or more pores having an open pore geometry. Additionally, provided are methods of manufacturing such wallboard panels.
Stud connection structure for noise reducing wall
A noise reducing wall system is provided. The noise reducing wall system includes first and second board layers facing in parallel with each other along a longitudinal direction thereof, a heat insulation member surrounded by the first and second board layers, and a stud connection structure that fastens the first and second board layers using a stud bolt passing through the heat insulation member to connect the first board layer and the second board layer. The stud bolt connects the first and second board layers in a thickness direction and has a bent portion extending in the longitudinal direction and disposed at an intermediate point in the thickness direction.
