Masonry block anchor system
A system and method of masonry construction using masonry blocks and anchors, wherein the blocks are laid end to end, and an anchor is inserted between them. The anchor both spaces and secures the blocks, even before mortar is applied. The anchors contain legs recess between the walls of the masonry construction, and create a space for the walls to recess in to on the anchor, thereby providing multi-directional securement of the system. Embodiments of the system also contain grooves for additional securement and complemental engagement of the anchors.
Wall anchor system and washer for connecting to a veneer tie
A system and method for a wall anchor including a washer for use in a cavity wall to connect to a veneer tie that joins an inner wythe and an outer wythe of the cavity wall are disclosed. The washer includes an opening configured to receive a shaft associated with the wall anchor, a washer body first side configured to abut one or more surfaces associated with the inner wythe, a washer body second side, and a washer body side wall. The washer body having at least one receiving element, including at least one receiving element opening configured to receive a portion of the veneer tie.
Interlocking wall panels for securement to a wall
An interlocking wall panel arrangement for mounting wall panels to an existing wall, includes a plurality of wall panels, each wall panel including a main wall panel section, a first interlocking section extend rearwardly from the main wall panel section at one end thereof, the first interlocking section includes walls defining a channel, and a second interlocking section extend rearwardly from the main wall panel section at an opposite end thereof for engaging with a first interlocking section of another the wall panel, the second interlocking section includes a projection wall that fits within the channel of another wall panel; and a securing arrangement for securing the first interlocking section to the existing wall.
Structural panel assembly for mounting building walls and method for mounting building walls using same
A structural panel having a structural inner core with a male member and a female member. The female member is configured to receive the male member of a vertically adjacent panel therein and has a locking slot. The structural panel also includes a locking member operatively engageable to the male member and configurable between an unlocked configuration where it does not substantially project outside of lateral wall surfaces of the male member and a locked configuration where it projects outside of at least one of the lateral wall surfaces of the male member and is engaged in the locking slot of the vertically adjacent panel. A panel assembly, a method for building a building wall using multiple structural panels, a corner securement assembly for at least two horizontally adjacent structural panels and a method for securing two horizontally adjacent panels in a corner configuration are also provided.
BLOCK FOR USE IN AUTOMATED BUILDING CONSTRUCTION
The present disclosure relates to the building industry and in particular to a block for use in automated building construction. In one aspect, the block comprises a generally cuboid body having a top and a base, a length extending between a pair of opposed ends, and a width extending between a pair of opposed sides; the body including a plurality of hollow cores extending from said top to said base, and arranged in a row between said opposed ends; wherein each core has a rectilinear cross-sectional shape; and wherein the thickness of the block between each pair of adjacent cores is at least double the thickness of the block on all other sides of each core, so that the block is divisible into a plurality of substantially identical block portions, each portion including four walls of substantially uniform wall thickness about its core.
Adjustable support system for a building structure and a wall structure having an adjustable support system
An adjustable support system has a base bracket member, a clip member, and an outer bracket. The base bracket member has a first end wall that overlays a substrate, a body wall extending outwardly therefrom and a second end wall opposite the first end wall. The clip member has a base bracket member coupling, and a projecting arm. The base bracket member coupling is attached to the first end wall and overlies a portion of the body wall. The projecting arm is spaceable apart from the body wall. The outer bracket has a spanning wall with inner and outer sides. An outer end wall extends from the outer side. The spanning wall is slidably positionable between the body wall of the base bracket member and the at least one clip member, to sandwich the same. Wall assemblies and methods are likewise disclosed.
Pre-fabricated deflection absorbent modular wall system
An L-bracket is provided to support manufacturered wall panels in a wall system. The L-bracket is attached to structural support members, such as floors, or hollow structural sections, so that any deflections in the floor system are accommodated in the wall panels. Each wall panel may be pre-fabricated to include shealthing, air/vapor barrier and insulation. Fasteners attach the shealthing of the wall panels to the L-bracket. Tape or strips may be applied between adjoining panels to provide a continuous air/vapor barrier for the wall system, and gaps in the insulation layer allows the air/vapor barrier to be sealed and inspected.
DEVICE FOR ATTACHING A TRANSVERSE VERTICAL PANEL, IN PARTICULAR A GLASS PANEL, TO A STRUCTURE
A device for attaching a transverse vertical panel, in particular a glass panel, to a structure includes a support member configured to be attached to the structure and a hook configured to be attached to the panel. The hook is arranged to be slidably attached to the support member to position the panel on the structure. A flange is configured to lock the hook in the hooked position on the support member, wherein the flange has the shape of a U-shaped rider having two legs mounted in the support member in an elastically interlocking manner by overlapping the hook. A force for unhooking the panel is transmitted to the support member by means of the legs of the rider.
Outer insulation integrated insulating block system easy to dry-finish and a construction method thereby
The present invention relates to a method for replacing a conventional mold construction, and includes a plate-shaped outer insulating material, an inner plywood (or a board-shaped finishing material), a connection unit, and a lightweight temporary material. According to the present invention, a wall is constructed by connecting the inner plywood to the lightweight temporary material from a corner foundation surface and by laying bricks. Reinforcement bars are placed after an interior wall is constructed and arranged to cross each other or to align with each other as instructed in a design specification. Then, an exterior wall is installed corresponding to the connection unit connected to the inner plywood. As a result, a wall having a thermal bridge prevention effect and a higher quality is obtained. Either dry finish or a wet finish is applicable to the wall.
