In accordance with one aspect, a wall construction system includes a plurality of blocks configured to interfit in multiple courses with aligned interior voids being defined by the blocks. At least one shim is disposed between two of the plurality of blocks, wherein each shim includes a main body having a curved surface including a portion having a non-constant radius of curvature. A cementitious material disposed in the aligned interior voids

Masonry reinforcement structure comprising parallel assemblies of grouped metal filaments and a polymer coating

The invention relates to a masonry reinforcement structure (100) comprising at least two assemblies (102) of grouped metal filaments, at least one positioning element (104) for positioning the assemblies (102) of grouped metal filaments in a predetermined position and a polymer coating (110) for securing the assemblies (102) of grouped metal filaments in this predetermined position. The invention also relates to a method of manufacturing such masonry reinforcement structure (100) and to a roll comprising such a masonry reinforcement structure (100). The invention further relates to masonry reinforced with such masonry reinforcement structure (100) and to a method to apply such masonry reinforcement structure (100).

MULTI-LAYER CONSTRUCTION ELEMENT, METHOD FOR PRODUCTION THEREOF AND PROCESS LINE FOR PRODUCTION OF THE MULTI-LAYER CONSTRUCTION ELEMENT

The invention relates to construction and is intended to create a multilayer structural element that is simple and convenient for combining in a structure and provides minimum shrinkage with the possibility for use in building load-bearing walls, interior partitions, floors and ceilings, as well as for manufacturing prefabricated walls having all process openings by means of bonding and ties during manufacturing; a high-capacity production line for producing a multilayer structural element using equipment consuming low levels of energy; and to enable the supply of vertically oriented exterior elements, as well as a continuous and low-cost method for manufacturing a multilayer structural element. The multilayer structural element includes exterior elements and a heat-insulating layer therebetween. The top and bottom surface of the exterior elements have a longitudinal groove along the entire exterior element. The multilayer structural element enables both horizontal and vertical installation.

MASONRY SPACER TOOL AND METHOD OF USING THE SAME

A masonry spacer tool that provides a specified separation between bricks mortared in a masonry construction. The masonry spacer tool includes at least two elongate forked prongs to support adjacent ends of a preceding brick and a subsequent brick in a masonry course. A handle end provides a suitable grip for extracting the spacing tool and has arms that provide support to the forked prongs to maintain their alignment during use.

Prefabricated construction wall assembly

A prefabricated construction wall assembly comprising: a frame structure having a first thermal expansion coefficient; and a panel configured for covering at least a majority of the a face of the frame structure, said panel having a second thermal expansion coefficient different from the first thermal expansion coefficient, and a solid-surface exterior face exposed to an exterior of the wall assembly and an interior face connected to the face of the frame structure so as to withstand the thermal structural differences between the frame structure and the exterior face.

MASONRY SYSTEM

A masonry system having a primary masonry unit with final coating and thermal and acoustic insulation, with several derivations. The masonry system guarantees the construction of a wall providing final finishing and thermal and acoustic insulation simultaneously. The system is based on a primary masonry unit having a coating layer in its outer face and an insulation layer which, depending on the version adopted, can be situated in the inner face thereof or in the outer face, covered by the final finishing layer in the latter case. The primary units present a tongue and groove fitting system which allows an easy and quick fitting, allowing the placement of these same units by wet or dry process. The masonry system further foresees secondary units and metallic reinforcements, to prevent phenomena of cracks and fissures and to improve the anti-seismic behavior of the wall.

Wall with decorative facing

Disclosed is an economical and effective way of producing a double sided wall using facing panels having a face surface and a back surface with a retaining structure. The facing panels are stacked in a back-to-back arrangement into a pair of first and second wall components connected by separate articulated connectors. The articulated connectors each have a first base connector that fits into a respective retaining groove in the first wall component and a second base connector that fits into a respective retaining groove of the second wall component. The first and second base connectors are connected to each other by a link that forms a first pivot joint at the first base connector and a second pivot joint at the second base connector.

METHODS OF FASTENING A WALL PANEL TO A WALL, KITS, AND WALL ASSEMBLIES

A method of fastening a wall panel to a wall, according to one illustrative embodiment, comprises coupling a retaining body to a mounting body mounted on an outer surface of the wall adjacent a side edge of the wall panel. Coupling the retaining body to the mounting body may comprise coupling a first connector on an inner surface of the retaining body to a second connector on the mounting body, and positioning a retainer on the retaining body against a retaining surface on the wall panel to fasten the wall panel to the wall. Kits and wall assemblies according to other illustrative embodiments are also disclosed.
