CONSTRUCTION BLOCK SYSTEM
20170342712 · 2017-11-30 ·

A hard synthetic rubber construction block system that includes: a top block; a plurality of square-shaped cavities on the under side of the top block; a bottom block; a plurality of square shaped studs on the upper side of the bottom block that insert into the plurality of square cavities in the top block, binding them together. Other features of the construction block system include: a horizontal insert on each side of the upper portion of the lower block spanning its length; a matching V-groove inside the lower portion of the upper block whereby the described insert of the lower block snaps into it, creating a locking point. Further, tongue and groove connections are at each end of the blocks whereby the tongue feature on one end of a block slides into the groove feature of an adjoining block, locking them horizontally.

A interlocking modular block system for structure assembly includes a solid prestressed concrete post having a square cross-sectional shape, a first hollow cuboid shaped block having a triangular cutout on each of its two opposing sides, a second hollow cuboid shaped block having the triangular cutouts on each of its two opposing sides, a first hollow cubic shaped block with a triangular prism shaped protrusion on each of three consecutive walls, configured to join three walls, a second hollow cubic shaped block with a triangular prism shaped protrusion on each of two opposing walls, configured to join two colinear walls, a third hollow cubic shaped block with a triangular prism shaped protrusion on one wall, configured to terminate a wall, and, a fourth hollow cubic shaped block with a triangular prism shaped protrusion on each of two consecutive walls, configured to join two perpendicular walls.

Interlocking and insulated construction blocks

An interlocking and insulated construction block includes a first pair of parallel, opposing sides and a second pair of parallel, opposing sides extending normal to the first pair of opposing sides. At least one cavity or recess extends through the construction block and includes a first volume of thermal insulation material. One or both sides of the first pair of opposing sides includes a pair of staggered engaging members or a pair of staggered receiving members configured to engage or lock with a mating pair of engaging members or receiving members of another insulated construction block. A plurality of different embodiments of the interlocking and insulated construction blocks may be provided in a set, and provide for mortar-less construction of walls due to their interlocking nature.

ARCHITECTURAL BUILDING BLOCK

An architectural building block including a generally triangular block having an outer wall, an inner wall disposed in substantially parallel configuration with respect to the outer wall and three side walls, each adjoining the outer wall and the inner wall. One of the side walls includes dual inverse mirror planes and each of the other two of which includes a single inverse mirror plane. At least one the side walls is configured to be positionable so as to mate with a side wall of an abuttingly disposed block, whereby curved structures may be constructed from a plurality of such blocks to form a dihedral angle between each set of two blocks. In one embodiment, the inner wall further includes at least one depression disposed on the inner wall of the block.

Building blocks and rear interlock connector therefor

An interlock connector interlocks building blocks that are assembled so as to provide a wall structure. The building blocks have respective front surfaces for defining a front façade of the wall structure and respective rear surfaces with at least one respective horizontal groove. The interlock connector comprises first and second bodies. The first body is inserted in the rear surface horizontal groove of a first building block. The second body is inserted in the rear surface horizontal groove of a second building block adjacent the first building block. Insertion of the first and second bodies in the respective rear surface horizontal grooves of the first and second building blocks provides for interlocking the first and second building blocks.

Modular concrete building block and methods

A concrete block includes first, second, third, fourth, fifth, and sixth planar faces. The first and second faces are generally parallel, and the distance between the first and second faces define a thickness of the first block; the third and fourth faces are parallel to each other and perpendicular to the first and second faces; the fifth face is perpendicular to the first, second, third, and fourth faces; the sixth face: extends perpendicular to the third face; extends toward the fourth face and ends at a non-planar remainder section; is parallel to the fifth face; is contained in a plane that intersects a plane containing the third face; and a distance from the intersection to the remainder section is at least as long as the thickness of the first block; and the remainder section extends between the sixth face and the fourth face and has a shape such that when a second block of the same construction as the first block has its remainder section engaged against the remainder section of first block, the remainder sections of the first and second blocks mate.
