BEAM AND BOLTING CONSTRUCTION SYSTEM AND METHOD
Beam segments made of a somewhat compressible material may be arranged with the top surface of each beam segment substantially in contact with the bottom surface of a next beam segment between a first beam segment and a last beam segment. A plurality of bolt bores extends between the top and bottom surfaces of each of the beam segments in substantial alignment through each of the beam segments. The bolt bores are spaced apart to receive corresponding bolt segments and tightening fasteners compressed between the first beam segment and the last beam segment. The beam segments may be compressed to form a combined beam structure that forms a building structure unit. The combined beam structure may be joined with other combined beam structures to form walls and floors for a building structure.
Log wall construction
A log wall construction including a plurality of log blocks, each having a substantially same height-dimension and laid next to each other to form a log block row having a log block row length. Log blocks next to each other have at least one pair of adjacent curved surfaces for each pair of log blocks next to each other. A second log block row of the plurality of log blocks laid next to each other to form the second log block row having a second log block row length and being located on top of the first log block row. A stringer located between the log block row and the second log block row and separating each log block row from each other log block row. The stringer extends substantially an entire distance equivalent to both the log block row length and the second log block row length.
BEAM AND BOLTING CONSTRUCTION SYSTEM AND METHOD
A beam and bolting construction method and an example dwelling (10) according to the method are provided. The method involves preliminary steps of selecting a site and determining a bolt array (19) and selection of dimensions and materials. Actual construction steps include forming a foundation slab (14) having vertical bolts (18) embedded therein in accordance with the bolt array (19). Alternating layers of beams (B), having aligned bolt bores (52) for receiving the bolts, are successively laid down over the bolts (18), with sides meeting at corners (29) with alternating sides encompassing the corner bolt. Once a desired height is achieved, washers (72) and nuts (78) are placed on the bolts and are tightened to desired pressure levels. The dwelling (10) is formed with beams (42) compressed together by threaded bolts (18) in a bolt array (19).
PRE-FINISHED LOG WALL PANEL SYSTEM
A plurality of wood logs are arranged to form a vertical stack of horizontally extending logs, each wood log including a plurality of apertures that form a plurality of vertically aligned apertures in the vertical stack when aligned. The plurality of connector assemblies connect the plurality of wood logs together in the vertical stack. Each connector assembly of the plurality of connector assemblies extends through a corresponding one of the plurality of vertically aligned apertures.
Portable lumber adjuster
The present invention is a novel method and device for addressing the problem of a flexed or bowed log while building a log cabin. The device is a portable lumber straightening device capable of fitting over an 8 wide log and pushing the log straight so that the bent log lines up with an adjacent straight log. The portable device has a main bridge connecting two pushing walls on opposite sides of a channel. Pneumatic pistons on either side of the walls facilitate these walls in pushing inward to the degree required in respect to the main channel defined by the main bridge.
Building element and method
A formed building element or log comprising a top filler section and a bottom filler section affixed on opposite sides of a center reinforcement member. The center reinforcement member may be a steel or metal rod or tube. The reinforcement member, which may be of approximately the same length of the filler sections, has one end extending out from the end of the building element. The extended end may have a vertical hole extending from top to bottom, adapted to accept a rod pin, which may or may not be threaded. Matching holes extend from the top to bottom of the filler section at the opposite end of the building element, so adjacent building elements may be attached end-to-end, and stacked vertically to form walls.

COMPOSITE WOOD ARRANGEMENT AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING SAID ARRANGEMENT
The present invention relates to a composite wood arrangement comprising construction components (1) mechanically joined together in a parallel position. Such a construction component comprises at least one profiled side surface (2, 3) and, connecting them together, at least one edge surface (4, 5) and end surfaces (6, 7), perpendicular to the longitudinal axis (11) of the construction component. In the invention, the side surfaces in parallel construction components are adapted in an opposite position in pairs so that profile crests (8) and throughs (9) in opposite side surfaces are substantially parallel. There are these construction components (1) adapted successively in their longitudinal direction and adjacently in at least the lateral direction of the composite wood arrangement to establish a uniform plate-like structure, whereby the construction components are joined together by mechanical joining means.
Modular building
A modular building includes at least one outer wall that includes at least first and second panels aligned end to end at a panel joint. Each panel includes first planks forming a part of the outer wall of the building and second planks forming a first decorative wall fixed to the outer wall. The decorative wall extends substantially perpendicular to the outer wall and terminates beyond the first planks on at least one side of the panel. The space between the first decorative wall of the panel and an adjacent decorative wall of a second panel accommodates a shelving unit or a joint cover strip that covers the panel joint.
CONSTRUCTION APPARATUS AND METHOD
The invention relates to a construction apparatus with a first and second construction part each including a receiving portion. An interlocking means is included, adapt to be received in the receiving portions of the first and second construction parts when put together to maintain the first panel and second panel together. The invention relates to a construction apparatus made of bamboo. The invention also relates to methods of use of the invention. The invention also relates to an engineered bamboo panel.
