Cantilevered and Decoupled Framing
20220251822 · 2022-08-11 · ·

Steel Framing members for use in load bearing and non-load bearing applications which use less steel, yet provide structural integrity with increased acoustic, thermal, and moisture control performances while supporting cantilevered loads outside of the wall assembly and having higher pull-out and strip resistance of fasteners.

INSULATED BUILDING STUDS AND METHODS OF MANUFACTURE
20220080698 · 2022-03-17 ·

Insulated building studs and methods of manufacturing the insulated building studs are disclosed. The insulated building studs includes a first portion, a second portion, an insulated portion with a first side and a second side, wherein the first portion is coupled to the first side of the insulated portion and the second portion is coupled to the second side of the insulated portion to form a building member, and at least one mesh coupled to at least one of a top and a bottom of the building member. A method of manufacturing insulated building studs is also disclosed.

SOUND DAMPING STRUCTURAL SUPPORT SYSTEM
20220074198 · 2022-03-10 ·

An acoustic damping structural system includes studs, tracks, and acoustic damping members. The studs and tracks include a first wall, a second wall, and a third wall that define a channel. The third wall includes a first portion perpendicular to the first wall, a second portion perpendicular to the first portion, and a third portion perpendicular to the second portion to define a ledge along a length of the third wall. The tracks are coupled to a support, such as floor joists and roof beams, in parallel. Opposite ends of the studs are received in the channels of the tracks, with the acoustic damping members received on and coupled to the ledges of pairs of the studs and pairs of the tracks. The acoustic damping members are planar with the ledges and the studs and tracks, respectively.

UNITARY DOUBLE STUD ASSEMBLY FOR SOUND DAMPING WALL
20220074199 · 2022-03-10 ·

A wall assembly includes tracks structured to be coupled to supports and wall studs coupled to the tracks. The wall studs include a first sidewall, a first web coupled to the first sidewall and a second sidewall coupled to the first web to define a first channel. The wall studs further include a second web coupled to the second sidewall and a third sidewall coupled to the second web to define a second channel as well as a third web coupled to the third sidewall and a fourth sidewall coupled to the third web to define a third channel. The second web is offset from the first web and the third web to isolate each of the channels and attenuate sound waves. Further, the studs may include one or more openings for further isolation and to reduce the amount of steel in the studs, which reduces cost.

STRUCTURAL STUD POST WITH THERMAL BREAK
20220064943 · 2022-03-03 ·

A structural stud post assembly comprising a center receiver section having opposing receiver channels formed by side walls and angled flanges, and a pair of raceway inserts also defining a raceway channel for accepting wiring and equipment to be disposed in the raceway. The raceways can be installed in the receiver channels to accept and accommodate wiring and equipment. The center receiver comprises a thermal break at about a midpoint to prevent there from being a metal-to-metal thermally conductive pathway through the stud. The structural stud post may be used in the construction of modular building systems.

Internal composition of a bracket member for insulation

A wall structure having an inner wall, a bracket member, a non-combustible board, and an outer cladding coupled together and retaining insulation between the inner wall and the outer cladding. The non-combustible board is positioned between the bracket member and the outer cladding.

Outboard Insulation Mounting System
20210230863 · 2021-07-29 · ·

An Outboard Insulation Mounting System and products for the purpose of providing a continuously insulated (CI) wall utilizing a dual nailing flanged stud, sub-girts with multiple aligned flanges and holes, a fastener for penetrating the multiple surfaces of the stud and sub-girt for the purpose of transferring cantilevered stresses to the screw from more than one direction, compounding the load capacity of the cantilevered screw. Rigid insulation installed between the studs and sub-girts may be compressed and assist with the load capacity of the cantilevered fasteners, as well as being supported by these fasteners along with any attached façade panels or façade systems to the sub-girts.

Wall stud acoustic performance
11840835 · 2023-12-12 · ·

A framing assembly is disclosed including an acoustic framing arrangement and a plurality of tracks. The acoustic framing arrangement interconnects a top track with a bottom track. The acoustic framing arrangement includes a pair of studs positioned in back-to-back configuration and mechanically joined using a connector. The connector includes a vertical portion that extends between the pair of studs and a base portion that connects to the tracks. When assembled, the acoustic framing arrangement creates space between the pair of studs and positions the studs in an offset configuration to improve wall stud acoustic performance.

Partition wall

A partition wall for a building structure having a plurality of building units separated by such partition wall to provide acoustic insulation therebetween. The partition wall has a plurality of column assemblies, such as at least two, substantially vertically mounted in a generally horizontally oriented base profile.

Furring and flashing strip system
10995497 · 2021-05-04 ·

An insulation furring and flashing strip system adapted for attachment to insulation board, with or without exterior sheathing, exterior siding, metal panels, sheets, roofing, signage or exterior masonry products. The insulated furring and flashing strip system includes insulation foam insulation received inside a U shaped, a Hat shaped, or a trapezoidal shaped metal channel. The insulation foam is bonded to the metal channel. The metal channel includes dimpled screw holes for receiving elongated strip system screws. The screws are used for securing the strip system to wall and roof stud framing. Building wall or roof siding is then attached to metal channel.
