Modular reattachable structure system and method
A system includes at least one interior wall having a first interior facing side and a second side opposite the interior facing side, at least one exterior wall having a first interior facing side and a second exterior facing side, at least one first attachment device for each interior wall, and at least one second attachment device for each exterior wall, each first attachment device connecting to a respective second attachment device to temporarily attach a respective interior wall to a respective exterior wall and create a cavity between the second side of the interior wall and the first interior facing side of the exterior wall.
WALL JOINT OR SOUND BLOCK COMPONENT AND WALL ASSEMBLIES
An elongate component for placement in a wall gap and a wall incorporating such a component. The component includes a wall-face leg configured to extend along a face of a wallboard and a wall-end leg configured to extend along an end of the wallboard. The wall-end leg is oriented perpendicular to the wall-face leg. The component further includes a flexible gap portion configured to be positioned within and extend along the wall gap. The gap portion is located on an opposite side of the wall-end leg relative to the wall-face leg. A blocking element is located in a space defined by the wall-end leg and the gap portion. The blocking element is configured to block fire and/or sound within the wall gap. At least a portion of the flexible gap portion is located on an exterior side of the blocking element.
GLASS AND SOLID WALL PANEL SYSTEM
A wall system includes a panel having a lower end, a panel assembly having an upper end, and a transition beam positioned between the panel and the panel assembly. The transition beam couples to the upper end of the panel assembly, and the transition beam defines a channel that receives the lower end of the panel to thereby couple the transition beam to the panel. The panel assembly includes a cladding panel having a rail projection, and the transition beam defines an engagement channel that receives the rail projection such that the cladding panel couples to the transition beam.
BREAKTHROUGH RESISTANT DRYWALL STRUCTURE
Breakthrough resistant drywall structure, classified at least for resistance class 2 according to DIN EN 1627 from September 2011, having at least two studs arranged to form a drywall substructure, each stud including a base portion and at least one flange portion, the drywall structure further having a plurality of building panels attached to the at least one flange portion, the drywall structure 1 further including a filling material, wherein the filling material comprises fibers.
Construction panel for installation on a framework
A panel comprises a board having a front face and a back face. The back face has a first edge and a second edge that is aligned with the first edge. A first set of tabs and a second set of tabs are attached to the back face, the first set of tabs being positioned along the first edge of the back face and the second set of tabs being positioned along the second edge of the back face, each individual tab being oriented transversely to the respective edge and protruding from the respective edge. The positions of the individual tabs on the first edge of the back face are offset from the positions of the individual tabs on the second edge of the back face.
Modular wall system with variable trim
A moveable and demountable wall panel system that is secured between a floor of a room and a ceiling rail secured to a ceiling of the room. The wall panel includes a lower trim assembly that is both removably connected to a wall panel of the wall panel system and pivotably connected to a floor channel of the wall panel system. The lower trim panel is further configured to adjust in conjunction with wall panel height adjustments made by one or more height adjustment assemblies.
Acoustic Performance of Timber Frame Partitions
A partition for a building structure comprises a support frame and a plasterboard affixed to the support frame with a plurality of screws. The plasterboard comprises a gypsum matrix having fibres embedded therein in an amount of at least 1 wt % relative to the gypsum, as well as a polymeric additive that is present in an amount of at least 1 wt % relative to the gypsum. The support frame comprises a plurality of elongate timber members and the average spacing between nearest-neighbour screws is greater than 400 mm.
JOINT-SEALING ELEMENT WITH PREDETERMINED GEOMETRY AND SEALING ARRANGEMENT WITH SUCH A JOINT-SEALING ELEMENT
A joint-sealing element for sealing building-structure joints is described, especially for sealing against sound and/or smoke and if necessary against fire. In particular, a joint-sealing element for sealing on a building construction and/or on a building structure is described, especially for sealing a joint between a first building part and a second building part, with a carrier element and a sealing profile disposed on this carrier element, wherein the disposed sealing profile has a predetermined geometry.
Furthermore, a sealing arrangement as well as a method for sealing building-structure joints is described, especially for sealing against sound and/or smoke and if necessary against fire, with such a joint-sealing element.
BUILDING JOINT WITH COMPRESSIBLE FIRESTOPPING COMPONENT
A head of wall assembly includes a compressible component positioned within a deflection gap between an upper edge of the wallboard and a ceiling or other horizontal structural element. The compressible component includes an intumescent strip in contact with the ceiling or the upper edge of the wallboard. The compressible component held in place by a double-sided tape attached with the header track, the ceiling, or the upper edge of the wallboard. The double-sided tape can partially cover one side of the compressible component.
DRYWALL TRACK COMPONENT, CLIPS FOR CONNECTING TO DRYWALL TRACK COMPONENT, DRYWALL TRACK COMPONENT ASSEMBLIES, AND METHODS OF MANUFACTURE THEREOF
An embodiment of a drywall track component comprises at least a web, a first flange extending substantially perpendicular from a web first edge, a second flange extending substantially perpendicular from a web second edge, a first ledge extending substantially perpendicular from a first flange second edge, and a first track wall extending substantially perpendicular from a first ledge second edge. The drywall track component may include one or more inner clips removably connected to the first track wall and/or the second track wall. The inner clip(s) may comprise an inner clip top return lip, an inner clip vertical wall, and an inner clip bottom return lip. Another embodiment of a drywall track component comprises a web, a first flange extending substantially perpendicular from a web first edge, a second flange extending substantially perpendicular from a web second edge, a first outer clip removably connected to the first flange, and a second outer clip removably connected to the second flange.
