Cantilevered and decoupled framing
Steel Framing members for use in load bearing and non-load bearing applications which use less steel, yet provide structural integrity with increased acoustic, thermal, and moisture control performances while supporting cantilevered loads outside of the wall assembly and having higher pull-out and strip resistance of fasteners.
BULGE NOTCH CONNECTORS
The present invention relates to a building construction using bulge notch connectors located within a wall cavity at the top and bottom end of metal framing members as well as through the holes in the metal forming members. The spacing-bracing members connecting the metal framing members have bulges, bulge notches, lips and lip notches in the spacing-bracing members and the holes securing the spacing bracing members have notches to secure framing members together. The holes can have holes notches or hole bulges to connect the bulges and bulge notches to connect metal framing components together. The longitudinal ends of the spacing-bracing members can have hook tongues with adjoining members having receiver holes for the tongue portion to fit into.
Building connection arrangement
A clip (2) for fitting between a first component (6) and a second component (4) in a building structure, the clip including a first member (8), a second member (10) and a connecting portion (12) connecting the first member (8) to the second member (10); the first member (8), the second member (10) and the connecting portion (12) forming a space (38) in which a portion of a leg (18) of the second component (4) is adapted to reside; the first member (8) and the second member (10) adapted for engagement with the portion of the leg (18) of the second component (4).
CONNECTIONS BETWEEN METAL FRAMING MEMBERS
The present invention relates to metal framed wall components with self-locking connections having overlapping connections be metal framing components by using: lip notches, lip-flange notches, web flange notches, notched tabs extensions, hooked tongue connecting receiver slot holes of adjacent metal component, hook tongue with receiver slot holes & wall plate, flange notches, hook tongue with bent tongue at receiver slot hole, hole projections having notches for flange or lip notches, lip flange notches at projection notches, longitudinal ends of flanges or lips and hook fingers overlap hole edge along with an adjacent flamed component having a hook tongue extending into receiver slot hole, web flange receiver slot hole overlapping adjacent metal component with the web flange receiver slot holes connecting the support member hole bottom, side or top edges and by interchanging the metal framing components at the longitudinal ends all two adjacent metal wall components to interlock together. In addition some of the same metal components are installed with the flanges extending upward from the bottom edge or downward into the bottom edge. The metal framed members can be the full width of support or between only the side edges of the hole opening or installed in various widths to connect together. The wall components spanning between support members connected by holes from support members, hooked receivers, hooked tongues, hook finger ends from the wall components.
Metal framing connections between members
The self-locking metal framing connections between support members and the crossing longitudinal spacing-bracing members can occur at the hole, at the top and bottom ends of the support members as well as the end-to-end connections between longitudinal spacing-bracing members. Connecting the hook tab with a notched-tab to a receiver hole in the adjacent web allows the longitudinal spacer brace to pivot horizontally and if the hook tongue with the notched tab and the receiver hole are in the flanges, the spacer braces can pivot vertically. Short longitudinal spacer braces with receiver holes and hook tongues with notched-tabs, key hole bendable tabs, different shaped spacer braces, different variations in the hole notches, notched tabs in the hole bottom edge, diagonal framing between holes and longitudinal spacing-bracing members having notched-tab receivers can be installed in the lip notches or the horizontal spacing-bracing member and/or into the slot holes of the flanges of another spacing-bracing member. Double lip flanges with notches at the end of the lips, bent upward or downward or having the notches penetrate both lips all adds strength. Additional configurations showing bent webs, bent flanges and bent lips to form curved longitudinal spacing-bracing members. The notched-tab can also be installed in the support member allowing the notched-tab to be installed through slot holes at the flanges or web to secure the spacer brace to the support members which is ideal for fabricating metal framing in a horizontal position then installed vertically.
Support wall frame system and associated use thereof
A support wall frame system includes at least one end track, and a frame member received within the at least one end track. Advantageously, the frame member is statically affixed to the at least one end track. The at least one track includes at least one detent spaced from each shoulder of the track to allow bending the at least one track from a single and unitary sheet of metal. Each of the bottom end track and the top end track includes a first opening disposed along a first shoulder of the track base and the first track side wall, and a second opening disposed along a second shoulder of the track base and the second track side wall. The first opening and the second opening each has a substantially cross-shape. A third opening may be formed along the track base.
METAL FRAMING CONNECTOR
The present invention relates to a metal framing connector spanning between support members secured by having web-flange notches engaging the aperture of support members or where adjacent connectors overlap web-flange notches by changing the connector widths or where the connector has added lips with lip notches to engage the support members or where the flange-notches can have a continuous web notch engage the aperture bottom edge or where one end of the connector has a web extension with hook tongue for tongue end to engage a hole receiver in the web of an adjacent connector or where the aperture bottom edge projects and extends into the continuous web notch or where hole notches or hole projections will hold the connector from moving horizontally or vertically within the apertures.
METAL FRAMING SELF-LOCKING CONNECTORS
The present invention relates to metal framed wall components with self-locking fixed and sliding connections between support members and crossing connecting members without using fasteners to connect the two crossing metal framing members together. Different variations of the shapes of the connecting members as well as the location and shape of the notches, ledges, tabs and notched-tabs are used between the members at the holes, punch-outs or indentations all determine the self-locking connections.

The present invention relates to metal framed wall components with self-locking connections having ledges connected to support members and crossing connecting members having punch out tabs being connected to ledges, notches and tabs being connected to other tabs interlocking together to connect wall components together. The wall components spanning between support members connected by holes from support members, hooked receivers, hooked tongues, hook finger ends from the wall components wherein also U-shaped and W-shape clips can also connect other wall components. The wall components can be installed individually or in tandem vertically, horizontally and diagonally between support members or over the side edges.
