METHOD AND SYSTEM TO SECURE SHORING DECK
The disclosure is directed to a method and system for securing a shoring deck to a column. The method includes providing a first beam bracing against a column, wherein the first beam is disposed at a first longitudinal axis that is perpendicular to a long axis of the column. The method includes coupling the first beam to first and second deck beams of a plurality of deck beams of a shoring deck. The method also includes providing a second beam bracing against the column and coupling the second beam to third and fourth deck beams of the plurality of deck beams. The method further includes positioning the first and second beams with respect to the column such that respective first and second longitudinal axes through the respective first and second beams are aligned at an acute angle with respect to each other.
Composite floor joist
A construction system definable in terms of an X, Y, and Z coordinate axes which provides a first part having a hollow three-walled web elongate in the Z axis, having a series series of securement brackets with geometric cut-outs on the upper Z edges of the elongate Z axis member; and a second part having at least one open end for complemental engagement of the first part wherein the second part may fit over distal ends of said first part in which a cross-section of the second part is generally that of the first part, but wide and tall enough to allow the first part to slip within the second part, and said second part having an opposite end of said opening, wherein said second part securing the first part to a structural support.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR MODULAR CONSTRUCTION
A building module for use in construction of a building comprising a deck oriented in a horizontal plane and a plurality of hollow structural members extending downwardly from around a periphery of the deck. A method of constructing a building comprising placing a plurality of prefabricated modules according to a floor plan to form a story of the building, pouring concrete into the hollow structural members of the plurality of modules to form structural columns, pouring concrete onto the decks of the plurality of prefabricated modules for form structural slabs, and allowing the structural columns and structural slabs to set to complete the story of the building. Embodiments include a plurality of techniques for sealing adjacent prefabricated modules and for installing a balcony on the prefabricated modules.
Supporting beam for slab systems, slab system, and method for the production thereof
The invention relates to a supporting beam, in particular of composite design, for slab systems, in particular of composite design, wherein the supporting beam extends in a longitudinal direction and has: a support extending in the longitudinal direction, in particular a steel support, which is formed in at least two pieces and has at least two support parts which each extend in the longitudinal direction.
FLOOR PANEL SYSTEM
The present invention provides a prefabricated floor panel system used in stay in place formwork for pouring concrete floors. The prefabricated floor panel system includes a top and has walls depending downwardly at an upper lateral edge of the wall from each outermost lateral edge of the top, a lower lateral edge of each wall having a ledge extending outwardly away from the top. A first ledge of one prefabricated floor panel system is capable of overlying another ledge of an adjacent prefabricated floor panel system to allow for the one prefabricated floor panel system to be joined to the adjacent prefabricated floor panel system to form a channel. The first ledge of the prefabricated floor panel system is provided with a reinforcing bar spaced away from the wall and the first ledge of the prefabricated floor panel system, the reinforcing bar being supported by a plurality of a reinforcing bar chairs spaced along the length of the prefabricated panel system, the reinforcing bar chairs being attached to the first ledge or wall such that there are no significant interfering structures projecting from a lower surface of the first ledge. The other ledge of the prefabricated floor panel system is free of interfering structures above the ledge to allow the first ledge of one prefabricated floor panel system to overlie the other ledge of an adjacent prefabricated floor panel system to allow for the one prefabricated floor panel system to be joined to the adjacent prefabricated floor panel system to form a channel.
