CEILING SYSTEM
Described herein is a ceiling system that includes a spring clip for mounting ceiling panels equipped with torsion springs to a ceiling support grid, the clip comprising: a body including a mounting portion defining a downwardly open receptacle configured for attachment to a ceiling grid support member; a pair of lateral flanges extending outwards from the mounting portion, at least one of the flanges including a slot configured to engage a torsion spring; a pair locking tabs disposed on the spring clip, the locking tabs configured to engage opposing sides of the grid support member.
ACOUSTIC BAFFLE SUSPENSION SYSTEM
A clip and a frame element are provided that facilitate multiple connection options for a vertically-mounted acoustic baffle in a single system. Kits comprising the clip, frame element and an acoustic baffle are also provided.
Suspended ceiling pass through grid connector
A pass through grid connector clip for a suspended ceiling. The grid connector clip is made of two identical halves connected back-to-back by a fastener passing through a first aperture of both identical halves or other joining method. The identical halves each have a web with a first side and an opposite second side defining a height; a third side and an opposite fourth side defining a length; a louver element closer to a fourth side than the third side; a half sleeve located between the clip and the louver element and extending from the first side to the second side the in a substantially semi-circular shape; the first aperture located between the half sleeve and the clip or the half sleeve and the louver element. The halves include a clip connected to the third side and two flanges projecting in substantially the same direction from opposite sides of the web. As a result, when the halves are joined back-to-back they form a pass through sleeve.
Baffle system
There is provided a ceiling baffle system having at least one ceiling support member and at least one baffle extending transversely relative to the at least one support member. The baffle has a baffle body portion with a baffle upper edge portion. At least one receiving slot extends from the upper edge into the body and receives the ceiling support member therewithin for coupling and suspending the baffle from the ceiling support member. At least one spacer extends parallel relative to the support member and has a spacer member body portion and a spacer member lower edge portion. At least one baffle retaining slot extends from the lower edge portion into the spacer member body portion. The baffle retaining slot receives at least the upper edge portion of the baffle to position, angularly orient and retain the baffle relative to the spacer member.
High strength main tee splice
A connector for a main tee of a suspended ceiling grid that has improved tensile strength achieved by accurately proportioning an end tab and receiving depression so that full lateral abutment between these elements is obtained to assure full engagement between lock lance edges and mating stop edges.
Vented suspension ceiling beam and suspension ceiling system
The present disclosure relates generally to suspension ceiling grids, for example, suitable for holding a suspension ceiling composed of ceiling tiles. The present disclosure relates more particularly to a vented suspension ceiling support beam including an elongate body extending in a longitudinal direction. The body includes a vertical web, and opposing first and second flanges protruding laterally from the vertical web. A vent is formed through the first flange.
MULTI-DIRECTIONAL BEAM FOR A DRYWALL CEILING SOFFIT RELATED APPLICATION
A straight beam made for use in a suspended horizontal drywall ceiling. The beam is modified so that it can be bent in multiple directions to multiple predetermined angles. The beam has a web connecting two top flanges to two bottom flanges. A notch in the web extends through either the top or bottom flanges dividing the beam into a first side and a second side. The first side and the second side may each contain a pocket angled away from an outward face of the web forming a cutout having a locking edge and optionally a protuberance projecting out in the same direction as the pocket. Furthermore, the first side and the second side may optionally each contain an indentation projecting outward from the web in a direction opposite the spring pocket. As a result, when the beam is bent to the desired predetermined angle the locking edge or indentation may engage with the protuberance locking the angle in place. A soffit may then be constructed with drywall hung therefrom.
