A suspended ceiling system that is configured to provide coverage of a ceiling within a structure wherein the present invention includes a technique operable to employ a plurality of panels of alternate sizes and shapes to create a preferred design. The system includes a support grid wherein the support grid includes a multitude of support members arranged in a grid pattern. The support grid includes spaces configured to have mounted therein a plurality of first panels. The first panels are configured to have releasably secured thereto a plurality of second panels. The second panels are configured to be of a different size and shape than the first panels. The first panels include a plurality of mounting apertures that are operable to couple with securing members located on the upper surface of the second panels. The first panels further include at least one installation aperture formed therein.

OPTICALLY TRANSMISSIVE COMPONENT FOR IMPROVED APPEARANCE OF LIGHTGUIDE INPUT REGION IN AN EDGELIT LIGHT FIXTURE
20250355160 · 2025-11-20 · ·

An optically transmissive component comprises a light scattering extension portion which can be used within an edgelit light fixture to provides benefits in brightness uniformity and visual appearance by scattering light from near an input edge of a light guide or other edgelit optical element. The sequential propagation of light through both the extension portion and main portion of the optically transmissive component significantly reduces the higher brightness and uneven hotspotting type visual defects typically produced near the input edge of an edgelit optical system. With appearance constraints removed or reduced, edgelit light fixtures with higher output, higher efficacy, and/or simplified edgelit optical components are enabled. Embodiments include the use of the extension portion of the optically transmissive component extension to mechanically position and retain an edgelit optical element within a light fixture.

Dynamic canvas tensioning system

The present invention relates to means and methods for tensioning duck or canvas. In particular, the present invention provides a tensioning system wherein a canvas can be tensioned dynamically along one or two sides of a frame. The present invention also further provides a method for dynamic tensioning of a canvas on one or two sides of a frame.

ELONGATED CEILING GRID MEMBER AND CEILING GRID ASSEMBLY INCLUDING A PLURALITY OF THE ELONGATED CEILING GRID MEMBER

An elongated ceiling grid member including (1) an upper portion having spaced upper portion side walls (a) threaded to receive and retain a first threaded member and (b) with lowermost edges, (2) a lower portion having spaced lower portion side walls (a) configured to receive and retain a second threaded member and (b) with uppermost edges, and (3) a middle portion that (a) connects the lowermost edges of the upper portion side walls and the uppermost edges of the lower portion side walls and (b) includes a pair of middle portion side walls that curve inwardly from the lowermost edges of the upper portion side walls and the uppermost edges of the lower portion side walls to contact each other between those edges.
