Nasal cavity insertion device fixture and nasal cavity insertion device set including the same

A fixture is provided for attachment to a device to be inserted into a nasal cavity. Further, the fixture is a nasal cavity insertion device fixture formed of a wire rod. The fixture includes a first wire rod part, a second wire rod part, and a third wire rod part. The second wire rod part is connected to the first wire rod part and formed by folding back the wire rod so as to be opposed to the first wire rod part. The third wire rod part is connected to the second wire rod part and formed by bending the wire rod so as to be disposed oppositely to a side of the second wire rod part facing the first wire rod part.

Devices and methods for airway measurement

Described here are devices and methods for measuring a distance in an airway. In some instances, the devices may comprise an outer shaft and an inner shaft that is slidably disposed in a lumen of the outer shaft. An expandable stopper may be positioned at a distal end of the inner shaft, which may be configured to engage a carina of a patient. The device may comprise one or more alignment markings and one or more displacement markings that may be used to measure a distance between a distal tip of an endotracheal tube and the carina. In some variations, measurement may be facilitated by the use of an alignment guide that may attach to a predetermined portion of an endotracheal tube.

A head frame apparatus is secured to a human head during maxillofacial surgery and includes devices to easily position and secure an endotracheal (breathing) tube and an anesthesia delivery circuit for the patient that reduces the likelihood that the flow of oxygen through the tube is restricted thereby reducing the risk of severe injury or death. The head frame apparatus also includes a removable reference indicator, which may be easily attached and removed while identifying a reference point of the patient's face. Also the reference indicator includes a universal joint and pointer with an attached ruler. A transport apparatus positions multiple preset reference indicators and allows for preoperative transportation and removal, while protecting the preset reference indicators from inadvertent adjustment. A bendable reference indicator used in an articulator for preoperative modeling allows for easily identifying reference points in a cast model. An orbiting segment apparatus positions a portion of a cast of a jaw in relation to a condyle ball of the articulator.
