Reinforced concrete building structures and methods for making same
Reinforced concrete structures and assemblies, building systems, and methods of fabrication.
Shipping container adapter
An adapter for a vent system for a cargo container having corrugated panels, has a base portion formed of sheet material, having an outer boundary and an inner boundary, the inner boundary enclosing an area sufficient to accommodate a twelve-inch diameter circle, the base portion shaped to closely conform to geometry of the corrugated panels of the cargo container, an intermediate portion joined in an airtight manner to the inner boundary of the base portion, presenting a surface at a height above an upper extremity of the corrugated geometry of the base portion, and an interface providing a through opening in the surface of the intermediate portion within the area enclosed by the inner boundary of the base portion.
Insulation Panels with Perforated Facers
An exterior insulation panel for installation in an exterior building envelope of a building. The insulation panel has an interior face for facing toward an interior space of the building, an exterior face lying opposite the interior face for facing away from the interior space of the building, and a foam core laminated with a perforated exterior facer on one or both faces of the panel, at which the exterior facer defines an uncovered outermost layer of the panel. Each perforated facer comprises openings therein through which moisture is migratable into the foam core during moisture-rich environmental conditions, for temporary holding of the excess moisture until such conditions subside.
IMPROVEMENTS TO A VENTILATED REINFORCED-CONCRETE WALL MODULE FOR CONSTRUCTING BUILDINGS IN GENERAL AND RESPECTIVE INDUSTRIALIZED CONSTRUCTION SYSTEM
A ventilated wall module (10) of the type used in civil construction for a range of buildings using pre-fabricated components, such as one-storey homes, large houses, houses, schools, hospitals, industrial sheds, inter alia; the wall module (10) includes a pair of panels (20A) and (30A) that are produced independently of one another by automated, robotic equipment (E1), based on large moving metal surfaces (M1) that slide on rails (T1); said mechanized method (M1) developed for the production of the panels (20A) and (30A) includes an industrialized construction system (SC) for producing each wall module (10) comprising the combination of the coordination and compatibilization of the designs to be implemented with the pre-installation of the complementary components such as electrical boxes (c1) or other necessary elements.
Panel and panel structure for ventilation and both reactive and dissipative sound dampening
A passive ventilation panel and system, in particular for use in doors, ceilings, walls and partitions enables an exchange of supply and return air for at least one room or a room, without the need for additional ventilation equipment, such as ducts, and without the needs to install wall openings or grills for the supply and exhaust air in the space.
STRUCTURAL FLOORING PANEL AND FLOOR STRUCTURE INCORPORATING THE SAME
A structural flooring panel comprises an upper sheet, a lower sheet and a plurality of longitudinally extending ribs between the sheets. The ribs are laterally spaced to define at least one longitudinally extending, internal channel within the panel.
REINFORCED CONCRETE BUILDING STRUCTURES AND METHODS FOR MAKING SAME
Reinforced concrete structures and assemblies, building systems, and methods of fabrication.
High velocity wind-driven rain louver
A louver blade for a louver assembly includes a first section, a second section extending from the first section and including a crest of the louver blade, an extension extending from the second section to form a recess between the extension and the second section, and a protrusion extending from the second section toward the extension and configured to facilitate retention of the particles within the recess. The extension is configured guide particles into the recess in an installed configuration of the louver blade with the louver assembly.
CONSTRUCTION SHEATHING AND METHODS OF MAKING AND USING SAME
A laminated building sheathing comprises a rigid foam board and a facer. The rigid foam board comprises a drainage pattern formed on a major surface of the foam board. The drainage pattern comprises a drainage channel. The facer is configured to cover the major surface of the rigid form board and to essentially conform to the drainage pattern. The facer is semi-permanently bonded to the drainage channel but permanently bonded to non-channel planar portions of the major surface.
Insulation and ventilation systems for building structures
One aspect of the invention relates to an insulation and ventilation system for a building envelope (e.g. a building wall and/or a building roof). The system includes: one or more first building envelope layers; an insulation panel having a first side abutting against at least one of the one or more first building envelope layers and a second side having a plurality of transversely spaced and continuously longitudinally extending grooves interspaced between a plurality of transversely spaced and continuously longitudinally extending protrusions; and one or more second building envelope layers located exterior to the insulation panel to provide a plurality of transversely localized venting channels defined at least in part by an interior surface of the one or more second building envelope layers and the grooves of the second side of the insulation panel.
