Truss rod coupling device

Aspects of the disclosure provide a non-welded, clevis-type coupling assembly that provides two sheer planes and, accordingly, increases the load bearing capacity thereof. The assembly includes a coupling plate having a first section, a second section, and a third section. The second section is intermediate the first section and the third section and the first and third sections are oriented at an angle of 90 with respect to one another. The coupling plate includes a contiguous opening extending there through having a first part and a second part. The first part has a first dimension and the second part has a second dimension that is larger than the first dimension.

ERECTED PLATFORM AND METHOD OF ERECTING THEREOF
20200224435 · 2020-07-16 ·

An erected platform which contains parallel lines of trusses connected end-to-end and method of erecting thereof, as illustrated in FIGS. 20 to 23. Each truss has two sides for chords respectively, with apertures or eyelets at the ends. First and second other trusses for a pair of parallel lines respectively are connected by positioning a first other truss adjacent the decking laid on an existing platform portion. Apertures on first respective sides of the first other truss and one of the existing trusses are connected by a first pin and the first other truss swung into an end-to-end position with the one existing truss and a second pin inserted in apertures on second respective sides of the first other truss and the one existing truss. The first pin is removed and the first other truss swung out of the way so that the second other truss may be attached. The second other truss is positioned adjacent the existing decking and similarly connected end-to-end with the other existing truss. The first other truss is then swung back into position for end-to-end attachment to the one existing truss and the second pin re-inserted.

FOLDABLE QUAD-CHORD TRUSS
20200224436 · 2020-07-16 ·

A foldable quad-chord truss which can be connected end-to-end with like trusses. The chords of each pair of chords are rigidly attached, and connector members intermediate the ends are each swivelly attached to each of the chords of each chord pair to effect the folding into a compact shape for transport and storage. The connector members are adapted for attachment to beams or connector members thereof which beams may extend between a parallel pair of the trusses.

Concrete structure body for constructing building floor, having firefighting function, and building floor construction structure including same

The present invention relates to a concrete structure for constructing a building floor and a building floor construction structure including the same. The present invention provides a concrete structure for constructing a building floor which forms a building floor foundation, including: a concrete main body to store fire-extinguishing water for fire suppression; and a fire-extinguishing water injection unit to inject the fire-extinguishing water stored in the concrete main body, and a building floor construction structure including the same. According to the present invention, the concrete structure for forming a building floor stores fire-extinguishing water, and thus early fire suppression is possible, building floor construction is facilitated, and excellent inter-floor sound insulation properties are provided.

Shield reinforcement plate

A shield reinforcement plate including a steel plate of approximately 1 to 3 mm thick, shaped in characteristic form by a tool in a continuous process. The shield reinforcement plate including 2 (two) holes, a pair of fins, also referred to as flaps and a fold at 90 relative to a base of the shield reinforcement plate. The fold referred to as a stiffener.

FUNICULAR ARCHED STEEL TRUSS FALSEWORK

A scaffold having an opposing pair of half funicular trusses that are detachably or pivotably connected in the middle to establish a funicular arched truss is provided, where when in a detached or pivoted state, storage and transporting a plurality of the half funicular trusses is simplified.

VARIABLE OVERLAPPING FRAMING MEMBER CONSTRUCTION

This application is an accumulation of various patent pending applications showing multiple configurations for connecting metal framing components together where the metal framing members are self-locking connectors that intersect, overlap, between other securing the metal support members together. The connections between the metal framing members uses various types of notches in the support members and notches in the metal framing member to secure metal framing together by using hook fingers, hook tongue, hook receivers, ledges, and tabs to secure the crossing members together forming the self-locking connections. The metal framing components have various longitudinal ends allowing where the longitudinal ends can have the same configuration or different configurations and still be an overlapping interlocking connection.

Modular truss joint

A modular truss joint is a web plate with at least three connectors. Each connection includes a web integrally formed as a portion of the web plate of a certain length. Each connection is positioned at a connector angle with respect to the other connectors. The connections have continuous flanges on a periphery of the modular truss joint. Each flange is oriented transversely to the web. The connectors form a modular structure by each connecting to at least one wide flange body to form a moment resisting connection such that the modular truss joint resists flexure of the modular structure.

JOIST TIE USED IN STRUCTURAL DECKING SYSTEMS AND METHOD OF INSTALLING

A joist tie may be designed to increase the strength of the joist tie and reduce the thickness of the joist tie, in order to provide the desired strength and the ability to make connections that operatively couple structural decking, the joist tie, and joists together using a single connector in one or more locations. The joist tie may be strengthened through the use of one or more ribs and/or one or more flanges. The one or more ribs may be formed to fit within one or more cavities within adjacent joists located in series. As such, the shape of the joist tie may be dimensioned in order to allow the joist tie to be placed on a first joist and a second joist without having to be attached until after assembly of the structural decking on top of the joist tie and joists.

Fibre reinforced polymer structures

A structure including a first hollow-section Fibre Reinforced Polymer (FRP) member, and a second hollow-section FRP member arranged at an angle to the first member. A rod extends through the second member. The rod also has a threaded end section extending through or into the first member. The opposed end of the rod is fixed to a further member. A nut secures the threaded end section to the first member, and screwing of the nut and threaded end section together exerts a compressive force on the second member and a tensile force on the rod.
