Rebar Splicer Capable of Enabling Quick Visual Measuring of a Predetermined Torque Value
Provided is a rebar splicer enabling quick visual measuring of a predetermined torque value, comprising: a female splicing piece and at least one male splicing piece. The female splicing piece includes a body, at least one end portion, and at least one connecting portion. The at least one connecting portion is disposed between at least one end of the body and the at least one end portion, and at least one groove is formed around the outer side of the at least one connecting portion surrounding circumferential direction. The at least one connecting portion has a thickness smaller than the thickness of at least one end portion and the thickness of the body. The present invention enables inspectors to quickly visually check whether a predetermined torque value is reached, thereby judging whether the locked is secured, avoiding complicated inspection, shortening working hours, and having high efficiency.
Ductile connections for pre-formed construction elements
Precast construction elements are described suitable for use in high seismic area. The precast construction elements can be precast, pre-topped double tees. The precast construction elements incorporate a passive energy dissipation device in a flange. The energy dissipation device provides a ductile connection having a deformation capacity of larger than 0.6″. Adjacent elements are connected to one another at joints that include the passive energy dissipation device. Passive energy dissipation devices can be passive hysteretic dampeners, such as U-shaped flexural plates. Passive energy dissipation devices can be bar dissipaters (e.g., grooved dissipaters). Also described are passive hysteretic dampers that include U-shaped flexural plates held in conjunction with a reinforcement element that defines a circle around which the flexural plate can bend.
Coupler for connecting reinforcing bars
The present invention relates to a coupler for connecting reinforcing bars which is used for connecting reinforcing bars to each other that are used in a construction site and, more specifically, to a coupler for connecting reinforcing bars which has increased strength and excellent fastening force on reinforcing bars through a structural improvement, and also provides increased convenience in assembly, thereby maximizing the manufacturing efficiency. The present invention has increased strength and excellent fastening force on reinforcing bars through a structural improvement to a coupler body, and does not require a separate fixing means by allowing a plurality of piece bodies to be assembled to a piece body guide provided with a magnet, thereby providing increased convenience in assembly and maximizing the manufacturing efficiency.
IMPROVED CONNECTOR
A connector (100) is disclosed for use in forming a joint between a first surface (400) and a second surface (410). The connector (100) comprises a housing (10). The connector also comprises a tendon (200). A portion of the tendon (200) can protrude from the housing (10) through a seal (50). The seal (50) is configured to sealably cover an open end (14) of the housing (10) such that the tendon (200) can move through the seal (50) and laterally sideways across the open end (14) together with at least a portion of the seal (50). Also disclosed is a connector (100) system for use in forming a joint, and a method of installing a connector (100) to form a joint, between a first surface (400) and a second surface (410). The connector (100) system and method comprises and makes use of the housing (10) and the tendon (200).
SELF-SUPPORTED PC COLUMN JOINT PART
A self-supported PC column joint part. A plurality of accommodation pieces is buried in the upper surface of a lower member to which a PC column is to be joined, has accommodation spaces having open upper parts, and has female threads. A support bar is provided in a pocket formed in the lower end of the PC column, and includes a body coupled to the upper surface of the pocket to protrude and a head at the lower end of the body so as to be accommodated inside the accommodation space. A fixing piece has a through-hole formed in the center thereof such that the body of the support bar passes therethrough, and has threads formed on the outer peripheral surface thereof so as to be screw-coupled to the accommodation piece, thereby fixing the head of the support bar.
ANGLED THREADED ROD COUPLING HAVING MOUNTABLE PASS THROUGH COUPLER
Angled coupling including main pass-through coupler to allow first threaded rod to pass therethrough and second coupling extending at angle therefrom to receive second threaded rod. Angled coupling can be used for multiple purposes including, but not limited to, adjusting location of threaded rod, seismic restraints, storm surge restraints and/or providing additional mounting points for support members. Main coupler is configured to be secured to any location on first threaded rod without requiring it to be screwed onto first threaded rod. Main coupler may include first half and second half each traversing length thereof, that can be secured together at desired location on first threaded rod. Main coupler may include upper section having first approximately half of body thereof and corresponding threads and lower section having second approximately half of body (opposite first half) and corresponding threads. Angled coupling is made of high strength material (e.g., steel, cast iron, composites).
INTERMEDIATE CONCRETE ANCHOR SYSTEM WITH CAP
A method and system for forming a post-tensioned concrete slab using a post-tensioning concrete anchor. The system may comprise a connector anchor including a bore that includes a first frustoconical portion, and the connector anchor may be adapted to bear on the post-tensioning concrete anchor. The system may also comprise a coupler comprising a connector and a coupler body that includes a second frustoconical portion that is oriented oppositely to the first frustoconical portion. The connector may have a bore therethrough and may be configured to receive the coupler body and to engage the connector anchor. A pocket-forming cap may releasably engage the post-tensioning concrete anchor; the pocket-forming cap may include a frustoconical wall, a gripping head, and a connector-receiving portion. The method may include using the system to form a second concrete section adjacent to a first concrete section before stressing the first concrete section.
