In some embodiments, the roofing system includes a first roofing material, wherein the first roofing material comprises a top surface and a bottom surface. In some embodiments, the top surface of the first roofing material comprises a nail zone with a plurality of fines. In some embodiments, the roofing system includes a second roofing material, wherein the second roofing material comprises a top surface and a bottom surface. In some embodiments, the bottom surface of the second roofing material comprises a plurality of fines. In some embodiments, the roofing system comprises and a patterned adhesive, which directly contacts at least a portion of the plurality of fines in the nail zone and at least a portion of the plurality of fines on the bottom surface of the second roofing material.
ROOF TILE AND A ROOF COVERING
A roof tile comprising a ceramic body and a reinforcing element attached to a lower surface of the ceramic body.
Roof tile system
A roof tile system and a method for installing the roof tile system is disclosed. The roof tile system comprises a first roof tile and a tile-holding device. The first roof tile comprises a first attaching means, the first attaching means for attaching the first roof tile to a second roof tile when the first roof tile and the second roof tile are arranged together on a roof. The first roof tile further comprises a flange extending from a first end portion. The tile holding device for fixing tiles to the roof comprises a channel for receiving the flange so as to inhibit lifting of the first end portion away from the roof.
PHOTOVOLTIAC ELEMENTS INCLUDING DRAINAGE ELEMENTS
A photovoltaic element comprising: (a) a photovoltaic assembly; (b) a shingle portion connected to the photovoltaic assembly, the shingle portion including: (i) one or more flexible regions and (ii) one or more attachment regions; wherein the one or more attachment regions connect the photovoltaic element to a structure and the one or more flexible regions are flexed so that all or a portion of the attachment regions are located below the shingle portion; and wherein the one or more flexible regions, the one or more attachment regions, or both include one more drainage elements.
Roofing panels
A roofing panel has a field, an upper edge, a lower edge, a first end, and a second end. The field of the roofing panel is ornamented such as by being coated and/or embossed and/or pressed to emulate the appearance of a traditional roofing shingle. A clip extends along the forward edge of the roofing panel and projects downwardly therefrom. A slot extends along the rear edge of the roofing panel and the slot has an upwardly facing elongated opening. The slot is cut short or truncated at the first end of the roofing panel such that the second end of a like shingle can be overlapped onto the first end in such a way that the ornamentation on the field of the roofing panel prevents water migration through the region of overlap of the roofing panel and the like roofing panel. The clip is configured to be pressed down by an installer through the opening of the slot and lock within the slot to attach one course of shingles securely to a next lower course of shingles.
Laminated roof shingle
A laminated composition shingle includes a first sheet having a first mineral granule surface and a first rectangular shape without tab cut-outs laminated with a second sheet having a second mineral granule surface. The second sheet has tab cut-outs along only one of the longer edges of the second sheet. An exposed portion of the laminated composition shingle that remains uncovered when the laminated composition shingle forms a roof covering has a width that is between 40% and 45% of an overall width of the laminated composition shingle. A width of the tab cut-outs is between 90% and 97% of the width of the exposed portion of the laminated composition shingle. All the tab cut-outs may have the same width. There may be visible marking on the shingle to indicate placement of the next course of shingles.
Laminated roof shingle
A laminated composition shingle includes a first sheet having a first mineral granule surface and a first rectangular shape without tab cut-outs laminated with a second sheet having a second mineral granule surface. The second sheet has tab cut-outs along only one longer edge of the second sheet. The laminated composition shingle has a shingle width perpendicular to the long edges, The tab cut-outs have a tab width in the direction of the shingle width where two times the tab width is less than the shingle width minus two and one quarter inches (57 mm). Two times the tab width may be more than the shingle width minus four inches (102 mm). If the shingle width is at least 12 (305 mm), the tab cut-outs may have a tab width that is between 33% and 41.5% of the shingle width. All the tab cut-outs may have the same width.

PHOTOVOLTAIC PROFILE, PHOTOVOLTAIC ROOF TILE MODULE AND PHOTOVOLTAIC ROOF INSTALLATION SYSTEM
The present application provides a photovoltaic profile, a photovoltaic roof tile module and a photovoltaic roof installation system. The photovoltaic profile comprises: a first frame, a second frame, a third frame and a fourth frame, the splicing corners of the frames are connected in sequence, and the splicing angle of the first splicing corner and the third splicing corner are both larger than the splicing angle of the second splicing corner and the fourth corners, and the first drainage channel and the second drainage channel are interconnecting to each other. The photovoltaic profiles, photovoltaic roof tile module and photovoltaic roof installation system of the present application can effectively drain rainwater through the interconnected drainage channels in the photovoltaic frame, avoiding rainwater damage to photovoltaic profiles and photovoltaic module, and improving the reliability of the overall waterproof performance of the roof. In addition, the photovoltaic frames are connected in sequence through splicing corners, and the splicing angles have a special angle design, so that the photovoltaic profile of the present application has the advantage of being simple in structure and easy to process.
Snow-melting roof tile and roof snow-melting system including same
A snow-melting roof tile according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises: a metal roof tile including a main cover part, a first bending part bent vertically and located at a first edge in a first direction of the main cover part and, and a second bending part bent vertically and located at a second edge in the first direction, opposite to the first edge of the main cover part; a heat generation part located an upper portion or lower portion of the metal roof tile; and a fixing part for fixing the heat generation part to the metal roof tile, wherein the heat generation part can generate heat to heat the metal roof tile, thereby melting snow on the metal roof tile.
