COVER FOR WATER FLOW INLET
A cover for water flow inlet for rainwater drainage of roof and buildings is disclosed. The inlet cover comprises an outer formation forming a plurality of ridged fins to avoid the vortex formation of rainwater entrainment and to protect the cover from debris materials and a central plate member. The central plate member has a profiled lower surface. The plate member is of an inverted shape with a plurality of ridged formation or channels on the lower surface to further eliminate formation of air inducing and vortices, therefore promoting high volume laminar flow of water in the inlet pipe of the drainage system.
Roof drain cover
A cover for a drain is disclosed. The cover may be used with roof drains or other drains and allow for fluid collection into the drain even with buildup of debris around or on the cover. The cover may have a lower flange or portion with a large area and extending outwardly in an arcuate configuration and having openings for fluid flow. The lower portion may be oriented at a small angle with respect to the horizontal. An upper portion may be connected to the lower portion and may be more vertically-oriented than the lower portion and also extend arcuately and having openings. A top may be connected with the upper portion and may have a removable lid. An outer ring may be attached to an outer perimeter of the lower portion and have openings. The cover may include a mount with flex joints for securing the cover to contoured surfaces. The cover may include moveable parts for expansion/contraction of portions of the cover. The cover may be contoured to abut a structure such as a wall.
Vortex Breaker With Dome Integration
A vortex breaker and a drainage assembly with a plurality of fins extending radially outward from a common central axis to respective terminal edges. Each fin has an attachment member for cooperation with bars of a domed strainer installed over a drain inlet. Engagement of the attachment members and domed strainer rigidly fixes the vortex breaker relative to the domed strainer.
Drain
The present invention is to provide a system and a method for effectively preventing that gases/heat from an outlet are ascending from a gully and form ice, in addition to effectively drain liquids through a gully. The present invention is obtained by arranging a float so that said float and a portion of the gully define a closable opening for through flow, further arranged such that the float is preventing gases/heat from the outlet to ascend up from the gully and form ice and/or so that the float prevents that gas is drawn into the gully.
Gutter debris barrier system
A gutter debris barrier system for preventing debris from entering a gutter includes a frame that is attached to a fascia of a building and a filter screen. The frame may include a floor with slots punched therein, with ribs on either side of the slots that form channels. The channels may be tapered to improve the speed and efficiency of heat transfer, and also to funnel water down into the gutter. The ribs may have planar upper surfaces or tips lying in a common horizontal plane and supporting a flat filter screen.
Roof drain overflow cover with sensor
The roof drain overflow cover with sensor cooperatively engages and covers a conventional roof drain cap cover to prevent trash from reaching and clogging the conventional roof basket cover and drain. Accumulating trash builds up on the screen of the overflow prevention device causing a doughnut shaped buoy connected to a trash tray to rise. The trash tray is retained to a base with magnets. When the water reaches a predetermined level, the doughnut shaped buoy rises pulling the trash tray away from the base allowing water to flow to the conventional roof drain basket and activating an overflow sensor and a control module. The control module is in communication with the water flow sensor and includes an indicator which is activated when the water flow sensor detects the detachment of the trash tray from the base indicating a potential flooding situation with the roof drainage system.
Filtering mesh with growth inhibiting material
A filtration device is provided for filtering a liquid that passes over the filtration device. The device includes a screen through which the liquid can pass, the screen having a top side, a bottom side, and a plurality of threads, at least a portion of the plurality of threads being a first material; and a growth inhibiting element that is one of attached to and a part of the screen, the growth inhibiting element being a second material. The second material and the first material are different materials.
Multiple trough gutter system with integral debris blocker
An interlocking gutter system with perforations in the visor allows for the maximum amount of water drainage while blocking debris from entering the gutter. The gutter trough has an increasing radius as it approaches the downspout, to increase the capacity for carrying water. In the event that debris does enter the gutter, the interlocking mechanism can be disengaged, thereby allowing the gutter trough to drop away from the visor, dumping accumulated debris with minimal effort. The perforations in the visor can be patterned and sized in order to block the most common debris encountered in that installation. The gutter may allow water to enter the trough via a coanda slot in addition to perforations in the visor. The gutter system may have multiple troughs to further assist in draining a maximum amount of water. In the event of a clog, the system is emptied using an endcap.
Gutter cleaning device and system
A system and devices to clean a rain gutter include a selectively openable end cap provided at an end of a gutter that is configured to be selectively positionable between a closed state and an open state to access an interior of the gutter, and a plurality of debris collecting members configured fit inside the gutter and to be selectively inserted and removed from the gutter in a sliding manner, wherein each of the debris collecting members is configured to be coupled to another of the debris collecting members such that an entirety of coupled debris collecting members may be moved along the gutter by force applied to one end of the coupled debris collecting members.
