NASAL ASSEMBLY

A nasal assembly for delivering breathable gas to a patient includes a frame having lateral connector, a cushion with a pair of nozzles, and a clip to secure the cushion to the frame. The frame includes a vent channel and a plurality of vent holes. The frame/cushion includes structure (lugs/cut outs) to prevent the assembly of an unvented frame with an unvented cushion, for safety purposes. The frame includes cored portions that interface with corner lugs provided on the cushion. A patient interface includes a frame, a cushion (nasal mask, nasal-oro mask, nozzles, etc.) and a vent assembly including a pattern of vent holes including at least two rows.

MASK SIZING TOOL USING A MOBILE APPLICATION

Apparatus and methods automate selection of patient interface(s). Image data captured by an image sensor may contain facial feature(s) of a user. The facial features may be captured in association with a predetermined reference feature of known dimension(s) such as with a user interface display that is generated with a sequence of icons that are activated for directing and tracking movement within the interface for desired image capture. The user's facial feature(s) and the reference feature may be detected in the captured image data. The image may be processed to measure an aspect of the detected facial feature(s) based on the reference feature. A patient interface size may be detected from standard patient interface sizes based on a comparison between the measured aspect of the facial feature(s) and a data record relating sizing information of the standard patient interface sizes and the measured aspect of the facial feature(s).

A DEVICE FOR A RESPIRATION ARRANGEMENT
20230033221 · 2023-02-02 · ·

The present invention relates to a device for a respiration arrangement. The device comprises a conduit having a first opening connectable to an air/gas source such as a resuscitation bag, and a second opening connectable to a face mask, such that a fluid pathway along a longitudinal direction of the conduit is established from the first opening to the second opening. The device further comprises a flow constriction, arranged in the conduit which upon fluid flow through the conduit results in a pressure difference over the flow constriction, the flow constriction at least partly comprising a laminar flow section, wherein the device further comprises at least one pressure connecting port arranged in pressurized communication with fluid between the flow constriction and the first opening, and wherein the pressure connecting port is arranged in the longitudinal direction of the conduit.

A respiratory mask connector and a respiratory mask. The respiratory mask connector is configured to connect a frame to a connection pipe. The respiratory mask connector has a connection face and a spherical face, the connection face being configured to be connected to the frame, and the spherical face being configured to be in ball-socket connection with a pipe head of the connection pipe. The connection face and the spherical face are respectively configured as either the outer wall surface of the respiratory mask connector or the inner wall surface of the respiratory mask connector. The respiratory mask connector can be used for a respiratory mask.

Breathing mask with coupling elements for head strap

The invention relates to a respiratory mask of modular construction. The main components are reduced to four parts and are provided by the mask body, the forehead support, the mask bead and the attachment piece. The design, according to the invention, of the outflow structure between mask body and forehead support makes apertures in the mask body unnecessary for this purpose. The strap coupling in the region of the mask body is made easier by a funnel-shaped guide structure such that it is possible in a simple manner even without seeing it.

VENTILATION MASK

Ventilation masks are disclosed herein including a mask body and a gas manifold coupled to the mask body to form a gas channel for directing a gas through a gas port to create a curtain effect gas flow within the patient cavity and form a gas curtain within the patient cavity and adjacent to at least one vent opening formed through the mask body, and a sampling cover couplable with the mask body to form a sampling channel between a sampling portal of the sampling cover and a sensing port, where the sampling portal is formed by a protrusion of the sampling cover that extends into the vent opening and can extend toward a patient cavity formed by an inner surface of the mask body.

Mask

A mask is disclosed that has a gas outlet which is quiet and provides for a diffused outlet flow of gases. The outlet is preferably a slot formed between a hollow body and cover over said hollow body. The mask also preferably extends and seals under a user's chin in use.

Wire heated tube with temperature control system, tube type detection, and active over temperature protection for humidifier for respiratory apparatus

A PAP system for delivering breathable gas to a patient includes a flow generator to generate a supply of breathable gas to be delivered to the patient; a humidifier including a heating plate to vaporize water and deliver water vapor to humidify the supply of breathable gas; a heated tube configured to heat and deliver the humidified supply of breathable gas to the patient; a power supply configured to supply power to the heating plate and the heated tube; and a controller configured to control the power supply to prevent overheating of the heating plate and the heated tube.

Directional lock for interface headgear arrangement

A directional lock or a headgear or interface assembly has one or more directional locks that include a catch arrangement for initiating or assisting in movement of a lock member of the direction lock. In some configurations, the catch arrangement assists movement of the lock member in only a portion of a range of travel of the lock member. In some configurations, the directional lock has a housing and a sleeve and the catch arrangement has a catch arm carried by the sleeve. The catch arm includes a catch end that contacts the lock member, which can be a lock washer in some configurations.

INTERACTION BETWEEN A MASK AND A PATIENT DURING THERAPY

A system for monitoring the interaction of a mask with a patient's face in real-time during a pressure therapy treatment session and providing recommendations for improving such interaction. A sensing arrangement obtains real-time relative position data regarding the relative position of the mask relative to face of the patient and a computing arrangement in communication with the sensing arrangement for receiving the real-time relative position data from the sensing arrangement. The computing arrangement includes a computational model that uses the real-time relative position data to determine information regarding the interaction between the mask and the face of the patient, and an interpretation and analysis unit that: relates the information regarding the interaction between the mask and the face of the patient to functional parameters, determines actionable information and/or insights to improve the interaction, and provides as output the actionable information and/or insights.
