The base member extends from the vertical attachment flange at an acute angle. A cantilevered roof edge bracket preferably includes a cantilevered base member and a vertical attachment flange. A roof edge angle bracket includes a base member and a vertical attachment flange. A roof edge vertical bracket preferably includes a vertical attachment flange, a bottom offset lip and an upper retaining lip.

Methods and arrangements for securing cable to a roof

A system for securing one or more heating cables to a roof and having one or more apparatuses, each apparatus including a metal base panel and a continuous metal C-shaped channel integrally-formed with the base panel. The channel includes a pair of opposing continuous channel walls creating and surrounding a continuous cavity having a cross-sectional cavity shape substantially identical for at least a majority thereof to the cross-sectional shape of the cable. The channel walls are resiliently flexible to enable receipt of a continuous length of the heating cable within the cavity such that the heating cable is in snug continuous contact with the channel to enhance heat conductance from the heating cable to the base panel.

SHINGLE CLIP SYSTEM AND METHOD
20190085564 · 2019-03-21 ·

The present disclosure includes roof shingle systems. One roof shingle system includes at least two shingles, a shingle clip, a drip edge, and a power collection unit. Each shingle has a semiconductive layer configured to deliver power, electrical current/voltage, and/or control signals to the power collection unit. The shingle clip continues a conductive path between the two shingles. The drip edge is at least partially insulated and partially conductive, and the conductive portion continues the path from the shingle semiconductive layer to the power unit where energy is collected. One method of installing a shingle system includes the steps of positioning a shingle having a transducer in the form of a semiconductive layer, and positioning a shingle clip to engage the semiconductive layer of the shingle.

Roofing Method and Apparatus

In an embodiment, a method includes applying a liquid plural component polymer to a sloped roof to form a protective surface that inhibits moisture seepage to the roof sheathing. In some embodiments, the plural component polymer may be a polyurea compound having a hardening time that is less than approximately 10 minutes. In some embodiments, one or more of the components may be aerated prior to application to the roof substrate. In some embodiments, one or more polystyrene panels may be affixed to the sloped roof prior to application of the liquid plural component polymer. Other embodiments are described and claimed.

DRIP EDGE
20190071873 · 2019-03-07 ·

A customizable roof drip edge system includes an inner footing, an outer section, and a tail integrally formed with the inner footing and the outer section. The tail is nailable to a roof substrate. The outer section includes a bridging member connecting the tail to an outer footing. The bridging member and the outer footing are configured for directing the flow of water off of a roof. The inner footing is spaced from the outer footing by a suitable distance and configured to be placed against an eave as a positioning aid such that the drip edge can easily and reliably be installed with sufficient spacing for the installation of a fascia board after installation of the drip edge. The drip edge may be bendable to user-selectable angles between the tail and the inner footing and outer section to accommodate a range of roof pitches.

PROFILED ELEMENT FOR TERRACES AND BALCONIES
20190063083 · 2019-02-28 ·

A profiled element for terraces and balconies includes a substantially flat wing for anchoring the profiled element to the floor, a front portion for protecting an outer edge of a floor paving and protruding outward with respect thereto, and a drip lip which is constituted by a contoured element that extends downward from the wing, in a region to be arranged at an edge of a terrace. The drip lip includes at a lower end, at least one first protrusion and at least one second protrusion, the second protrusion being disposed lower than the first protrusion, and both protruding outward with respect to the front portion.

PRESSURE-SENSITIVE PVC COVER STRIP
20180346765 · 2018-12-06 ·

A PVC-based cover strip designed to bond to non-PVC materials as well as PVC materials includes a PVC layer coated with a barrier effective to prevent migration of plasticizers from the PVC layer. The barrier layer, in turn, is coated with a primer and subsequently a pressure-sensitive adhesive. The barrier layer is generally a polar polymer, such as acrylonitrile rubber which resists migration of phthalate plasticizers. The pressure-sensitive adhesive layer is a pressure-sensitive adhesive suitable for use in roofing applications.
