SYSTEMS AND METHODS OF ADAPTIVELY GENERATING FACIAL DEVICE SELECTIONS BASED ON VISUALLY DETERMINED ANATOMICAL DIMENSION DATA
20240170139 · 2024-05-23 ·

Devices and methods for adaptively generating facial device selections based on visually determined anatomical dimension data. The device may include a processor and a memory. The memory may include processor-executable instructions for receiving image data representing a user face and determining anatomical dimension data associated with a nasal-oral region of the user face based on the received image data. The processor-executable instructions may be for generating one or more facial device recommendations based on a recommendation model and the anatomical dimension data and providing the one or more facial device recommendations for display at a user interface.

Pair of eye goggles
11974951 · 2024-05-07 ·

A pair of eye goggles is provided. The pair of eye goggles includes a nosepiece fittable over a portion of a wearer's face, the nosepiece comprising one or more strands, at least a portion of the nosepiece comprising a phase change material, wherein a shape of the nosepiece changes upon an application of an energy to the phase changing portion to conform to the face; and a pair of eyepieces connected to the nosepiece.

RESPIRATORY ASSEMBLY
20190247605 · 2019-08-15 · ·

A respiratory assembly is provided. The assembly includes at least one post having a nasal engaging portion on about a first end thereof for delivering treatment gases to the nasal cavity of a patient. A pair of tubes capable of receiving gas from a hose or fluid source are selectively engaged with the pair of posts for delivering treatment gases from the inlet through the receptacle and into the nasal cavity of the patient. A splitter may be positioned between the hose or fluid source and the pair of tubes. Ball and socket joints may provide enhanced flexibility of the assembly while in use.

POSITIVE-AIR-PRESSURE MACHINE CONDUIT
20190240439 · 2019-08-08 ·

A conduit for delivering a supply of gas under a positive pressure includes a conduit wall having a first conduit end and a second conduit end. The first conduit end is adapted to be attached to the supply of gas. The conduit wall is deformable between (a) an open condition in which the conduit wall defines a conduit passage along which the supply of gas can travel between the first conduit end to the second conduit end, and (b) a collapsed condition in which the conduit wall substantially collapses the conduit passage.

BREATHING ASSIST SYSTEM INCLUDING AN ORAL APPLIANCE AND CONNECTOR SYSTEM THEREFOR

A system for providing breathing assistance to a user includes (a) an oral appliance including a body for positioning within an oral cavity of the user, the body defining at least one extra-oral opening for allowing airflow between lips of the user in fluid communication with at least one intra-oral opening provided in the oral cavity to direct airflow into and/or out of a posterior region of the oral cavity; and, (b) at least one of: (i) a housing connected to the at least one extra-oral opening of the appliance, the housing configured to allow natural breathing through the appliance; and, (ii) a connector system for receiving air from a positive airway pressure (PAP) device, the connector system connected to the at least one extra-oral opening of the appliance.

Customizable cushion utilizing fitted plug inserts

A respiratory interface device provides a support cushion (15) including a cushion body (20) and at least two inserts (50). The cushion body has a plurality of stiffener passages (22). The at least two inserts are stiffening inserts shaped to correspond to the stiffener passages. The cushion body is made from a first material having a first hardness. One of the at least two inserts is made from a first material, having substantially the same first hardness as the cushion body, and the second insert is made from a second material having a second hardness, the second hardness being different than the first hardness.

CUSTOM PATIENT INTERFACE AND METHODS FOR MAKING SAME

A method of manufacturing a patient interface for sealed delivery of a flow of air at a continuously positive pressure with respect to ambient air pressure to an entrance to the patient's airways includes collecting anthropometric data of a patient's face. Anticipated considerations are identified from the collected anthropometric data during use of the patient interface. The collected anthropometric data is processed to provide a transformed data set based on the anticipated considerations, the transformed data set corresponding to at least one customised patient interface component. At least one patient interface component is modelled based on the transformed data set.

AUTO-FEEDBACK VALVE FOR A SLEEP APNEA DEVICE

A system for treating a patient suffering from obstructive sleep apnea or snoring is diclsoed. The system includes an air flow generator configured to deliver an air flow at a positive therapeutic pressure during the treatment, and an expiratory valve with an open pressure connected air flow generator. The open pressure is dependent on the therapeutic pressure from the air flow generator. The expiratory valve further exerts a back pressure upon each exhalation from the patient sufficient to create a pneumatic splint in the patient's respiratory tract. The exhalation from the patient has a first half followed by a second half and the back pressure is varied such that during the start of the first half the back pressure is between 0 and 50% of a peak back pressure and increases to a peak back pressure in the second half.

Breathable respiratory mask

A patient interface which is comfortable for the user to wear can include at least in part a moisture permeable or breathable area in the body of the patient interface. The patient interface can be a strapless mask that is molded to fit the contours of a user's face and maximize the mask-to-skin seal. An adhesive material is bonded to the mask cushion and is stamped in place to form substantially the same shape as the cushion such that it fits the facial contours of the user.

Liner for a respirator mask
10357626 · 2019-07-23 ·

A respirator mask liner is provided for positioning between a respirator mask and the face of a wearer. The mask liner includes a flexible sheet material having an outer perimeter edge portion and a hole that is spaced inwardly from the outer perimeter edge portion. At least one tab projects outwardly from portions of the perimeter edge portion, and may be unitarily formed with the sheet material. The mask liner is configured so that when it is to be placed between the face of the wearer and the respirator mask, the tab or tabs project outwardly beyond the gasket portion of the respirator mask, so that the tabs may be used for adjusting the liner or securing the liner to the mask. Optionally, the mask liner has a surface texture with a ribbed and undulating pattern of raised portions, and/or incorporates an anti-microbial substance.
