ROOF VENT WITH CONTOURED FOOT
A roof vent for a contoured metal surface. The roof vent includes a base or foot having one or more recessed channels that extend between opposing edges of the foot. The recessed channels are sized and shaped to receive correspondingly shaped ridges of the contoured metal roof surface.
Roof Ready Roof Mounts
A roof mount system and related method for installing solar panel racking components on a roof structure at the time of roof installation during building construction or roof replacement. The roof mount apparatus includes at least one flashing, at least one flashing projection, at least one fastener, a block member, a seal member and a cap member. The at least one fastener connects the at least one flashing member to the roof structure to secure the block member and the seal member. The seal member provides a water-tight securement and reduces wear and tear of the roof structure. The cap, fastener, and block are removable, and once removed, additional solar racking components are installed. This embodiment reduces the up-front cost of the solar components, and provides aesthetically pleasing low-profile temporary mounts to the roof surface.
ROOF MOUNTING SYSTEM
A roof mount assembly mounts a structure to a roof having a rafter and a substrate supported by the rafter. The roof mount assembly includes a piece of flashing positioned on the substrate. The flashing includes a first surface, a second surface opposite the first surface and an aperture extending through the flashing. A fastener extends through the flashing aperture. A bracket is connected to the flashing via the fastener, and the bracket is sized to support at least one roof-mounted structure on the roof. A seal is positioned between the flashing aperture and the fastener. The seal is sized to form a water-tight seal with the aperture to inhibit flow of fluid through the aperture. The seal includes a first portion and a second portion, in which the first portion is positioned to abut the flashing first surface and the second portion is positioned to extend through the aperture.
Pipe diverting system
A roof mounted diverting device for diverting a direction of flow of gas from a roof-penetrating pipe is provided. The roof-penetrating pipe has a central axis. The device includes a diverter having a lower opening and an upper opening, the upper opening having a central axis; and a seal having a seal opening, the seal opening being con figured to contact an outer surface of the roof-penetrating pipe and form a gas-tight seal with the roof-penetrating pipe. In an assembled state of the device, any of the gas that enters the diverter can only exit the diverter through the upper opening or through the roof-penetrating pipe, and the diverter is installable in multiple different positions, each of die different positions having a different included angle between the central axis of the upper opening and the central axis of the roof-penetrating pipe.
PLUMBING VENT CAP REMOTE REMOVAL SYSTEM
A system, method and apparatus for removing a test seal part from a vent positioned on a roof of a structure and being removable without requiring a person on site to accomplish the same includes a test seal part having a surface for connection enabling removal, wherein the seal part removably sealably connects to the plumbing vent pipe, and a remote controlled apparatus and/or remote controller directly or indirectly removes the test seal part.
SEALING APPARATUS
A sealing apparatus for sealing against an opening in a structure for establishing a sealed passage therethrough, comprising a main body having opposed first and second sides, a first hollowed portion projecting from the first side, a second hollowed portion projecting from the second side and a flange between the first and second hollowed portions, the first and second hollowed portions communicating with one another to define a sealed passage for allowing a cable/pipe to pass therethrough.
Metal roof flashing system
A metal roof flashing system includes a pipe flashing assembly including a triangular base flashing, a rubber vent support, and a lower flashing seal. The pipe flashing assembly is structured to receive a roof vent pipe and form a watertight seal around a plumbing vent stack on a roof surface or side wall of a building. The rubber vent support is flexible and contours to and around the roof vent pipe and form a seal. The pipe flashing assembly is able to be installed on a metal roof surface of a building.
External Vents
A sloped roof vent has a coated steel plate with a raised center and a gasket receiver is formed around a central hole. A structural body is crimped with a gasket in the receiver. The body has an outer wall extending downward over the receiver. A sloping wall extends inward and a vertical wall supports a second sloping wall with an inner rim. A damper staked to an axle covers the rim. Inserts keep the damper from chattering and fully closing. Wind walls prevent outer drafts from lifting the damper. Two fasteners attach caps to the outer wall. Lanced and pressed ledges on a push-in hose connector permanently engage windows on the inner rim of the structural body. A snap-in screen and a hose connector reducer complete a package.
Pipe guard device and method of use
A pipe guard system for preventing damage of piping equipment such as pipe jacks, vent pipes, and the like from environmental elements in roof construction comprising a body member having a top portion, bottom portion, one or more side walls; and a ring configured with an opening to allow the insertion of a pipe jack therethrough.
