A roller awning, with lights, includes: a sheet; a shaft for winding/unwinding it; a structure supporting the shaft; a crosspiece for constraining an edge of the sheet; pairs of articulated arms for supporting and moving the crosspiece with respect to the support structure; and a plurality of LED lights fixed at least to the articulated arms. Articulation is obtained through disks fixed to cooperating ends of the arms, the disks being intercalated between them and being crossed by an articulation pin, forming an articulation joint with the discs. The pin being hollow and has its upper end opening into an upper cavity which is obtained in the upper disc of the joint and which also houses a printed circuit board. At least one LED is mounted thereon facing an axial cavity of the pin, within which, a light guide is housed opening at the lower end of the axial cavity.

Residential awning canopy assembly

An awning is disclosed. The awning comprises a case assembly comprising a housing, configured to be mounted to a dwelling, and a lead rail, a roller assembly mounted in the case assembly and including a roll tube rotatable relative to the case assembly, a lead rail assembly coupled to the lead rail, the lead rail assembly movable relative to the housing between an extended position and a retracted position, a canopy having a leading edge and a trailing edge, the leading edge being connected to the lead rail assembly and the trailing edge being connected to the roll tube, and a spring arm assembly connecting the housing of the case assembly to the lead rail, the spring arms including a first arm and a second arm pivotable relative to one another, the spring arm assembly allowing the lead rail assembly to move between the extended position and the retracted position.

METHODS FOR CONFIGURING AND CONTROLLING THE OPERATION OF A MOTORISED DRIVE DEVICE FOR A HOME AUTOMATION UNIT, AND ASSOCIATED UNIT AND MOTORISED DRIVE DEVICE
20190119984 · 2019-04-25 ·

A method for configuring a motorized drive device for a solar protection home automation unit includes a step of triggering the rolling-up of a screen from an unrolled position, in which the screen is relaxed, towards a rolled-up position. This method further includes a step of measuring a magnitude of an electrical current passing through an electric motor using a measurement device, a step of determining a first maximum value of the measured magnitude, indicative of a position of breakage of the arms of a screening device, and a step of determining a lowered end-of-travel position of the screen. The lowered end-of-travel position of the screen corresponds to a measured-magnitude value lower than the first maximum value. The lowered end-of-travel position of the screen lies before the position of breakage of the arms of the screening device, in the direction of unrolling of the screen.
