REMOVABLE SPINDLE FOR BANISTER
Provided in this disclosure is a selectively replaceable spindle for a banister. The spindle includes a generally longitudinal body having first and second ends for respectively engaging recesses on opposing surfaces of a handrail and a lower rail of a banister. A securement mechanism is attached to either of the first or second ends of the body, for releasably securing the respective end to the respective recess. The securement mechanism includes a spring-biased clip extending from the respective end of the body that is urged into contact with the respective recess. A lever is attached to the spring-biased clip for compressing an internal spring and enabling retraction of the spring-biased clip from the respective recess. The lever thus releases the secured one of the first or second ends of the generally longitudinal body from the respective one of the first or second recesses, thereby permitting removal of the spindle.
Rotatable structural bracket
A rotatable structural bracket includes a top plate for placement in a horizontal rest position on an end of a structural section that has an internal void. The rotatable structural bracket also includes a rotatable extension for placement into the internal void of the structural section. The rotatable extension can be configured as a wedge that is rotatable out from the internal void to angle the top plate at any acute angle relative to the horizontal rest position of the top plate. The top plate and the rotatable extension are of single-piece construction, and the rotatable extension rotates relative to the structural section and internal of the structural section. The rotatable extension also encompasses an opening of the internal void at any acute angle.
Anchor
An anchor for a cable or rod includes a ferrule or other spring stop, to which one or more springs or arms are coupled. The spring stop may be attached to an end or other region of the cable to enable the cable to be tensioned against a support structure. The one or more springs or arms may be, for example, one or more coil springs, one or more conical coil springs, two or more cantilever springs, or one more arms. The anchor is twisted or pushed through a hole in the support structure from a first side to a second side and contacts the surface of the second side. A ferrule spring stop may be swaged to the cable or rod.
MOUNTING FIXTURE OF A CONNECTION FIXTURE
A mounting fixture for interconnecting at least two tubular members, the mounting fixture including: at least one first connection section including a first connection aperture for receipt of a connector configured to secure a receiving element to the mounting fixture via a second connection aperture of the receiving element; a mounting sleeve configured to be secured around a section of a tubular member, the mounting sleeve comprises at least two interconnectable fixture sections, each fixture section comprising a portion of the mounting fixture which includes a section of the mounting sleeve and a portion of the first connection section; and at least one connecting arrangement for interconnecting adjacent fixture sections to form the mounting sleeve, each connecting arrangement being located on or within an inner side of each fixture section of the mounting sleeve to interconnect each fixture section to an adjoining fixture section at a location on or within an inner side of the mounting sleeve.
Handrail system for ramp assembly and handrail adaptor having angled interface
In one embodiment of the present disclosure, a handrail system for a ramp assembly, the handrail system includes first and second handrail posts oriented substantially perpendicular to a ground surface, a handrail portion having first and second ends extending between the first and second handrail posts, wherein the handrail portion is substantially parallel to a ramping surface ramping from a first elevation to a second elevation at a grade, and first and second interfaces at the first and second ends of the handrail portion for interfacing with the first and second handrail posts. In another embodiment of the present disclosure, an adaptor is configured for a handrail portion.
ROPE CONNECTOR, ROPE ASSEMBLY AND RAILING
A rope connector, a rope assembly and a railing are provided. The rope connector includes a connecting part, a sleeve, a movable rod, an elastic member, and a clamping member. An end of the sleeve connects an end of the connecting part, and the other end is disposed with an opening communicating with an interior of the sleeve. An end of the movable rod is movably placed inside the sleeve after passing through the opening, and the other end connects the clamping member. The elastic member is placed inside the sleeve, an end abuts against an edge of the opening, and the other end connects one end of the movable rod. An end of the clamping member away from the movable rod is suitable for detachably connecting with a rope. The rope connector is convenient for rope connection and automatic adjustment of tension.
Raking rail panel and bracket system and method
A raking rail panel system includes a raking rail panel that is supported by four pivotable bracket assemblies. Each pivotable bracket assembly includes a rail support bracket that is hinged to a post bracket. Each post bracket is configured to be coupled to a vertical support post. The post brackets each include a gap filling portion that extends from a mounting face of the vertical support posts. The gap filling portions are sized to either fill a long or a short gap between an end baluster and the vertical support post. The four pivotable bracket assemblies facilitate drop-in installation of the rail panel pivoted in a range of rake angles.
Vertical cable railing assembly
A railing system is provided that illustratively includes a first rail and a second rail where the first rail is spaced-apart from the second rail. At least one cable that extends between the spaced-apart first and second rails. The at least one cable includes a stop sleeve disposed about the cable and positioned adjacent an end of the at least one cable. A cable tensioner having a body, a bore disposed through the body, and a stop surface is located adjacent an opening in the cable tensioner. An adapter that includes a body and a bore that extends into the body. The body of the adapter forms a surface located in contact with an underside surface of the top panel of the second rail between the first and second sidewalls of the second rail.
BRACKET FOR SUPPORTING ATTACHMENT OF THE END OF A RAILING MEMBER TO A VERTICAL MEMBER
A railing bracket including a cup having a bottom wall, a first side wall, a second side wall disposed opposite the first side wall, and a notch. The first side wall defines a first countersunk through hole configured to receive a fastener. A U-shaped cap has a top wall, a first lateral wall, a second lateral wall, and a tab. The first lateral wall is configured to cover a head of the fastener and the notch is configured to receive the tab.
