SYSTEM FOR ADJUSTING AND FIXING SHEET-SHAPED ELEMENTS FOR RAILINGS
20220307268 · 2022-09-29 ·

A system for adjusting and fixing sheet-shaped elements for railings including containment means for a protective sheet-shaped element which are provided with a channel for housing the sheet-shaped element and adjusting means for adjusting the position of the sheet-shaped element, wherein the adjusting means include at least one resting and retaining element with substantially L-shaped cross-section provided with seats for the passage of two pins and with two planes for the sliding of adjusting elements, in such a way that the combination of the movements of the adjusting elements caused by the pins generates a rotation of the resting and retaining element which in turn causes a rotation of the sheet-shaped element.

A rotatable structural bracket includes a top plate for placement in a horizontal rest position on an end of a structural section that has an internal void. The rotatable structural bracket also includes a rotatable extension for placement into the internal void of the structural section. The rotatable extension can be configured as a wedge that is rotatable out from the internal void to angle the top plate at any acute angle relative to the horizontal rest position of the top plate. The top plate and the rotatable extension are of single-piece construction, and the rotatable extension rotates relative to the structural section and internal of the structural section. The rotatable extension also encompasses an opening of the internal void at any acute angle.

System and method for adjusting alignment of a panel

It is known for balustrades and partitions to be formed from a flat panel, such as glass, and for such panels to be anchored along a lower edge and substantially unsupported at an upper edge. Vertical alignment of such panels has been achieved by ensuring that the trough in which they are anchored is itself precisely aligned on a horizontal, such that any flat panel inserted therein stands in a vertical plane. According to the invention, a panel may be aligned with its major face in a substantially vertical plane, even when the trough is located with its base substantially not horizontal. In addition, the panel may be held in the base of the trough by the force of an adjustment part on a first joint surface, thereby increasing stability of the panel.

ARRANGEMENT FOR SECURING A PANEL IN A RAIL BY TIGHTENING OUTER WEDGES FROM AN INNER SIDE OF THE PANEL

The invention relates to an arrangement for securing a vertical panel (14) in a longitudinal groove (28), the panel (14) comprising an inner face (20) and an outer face (22), the securing being carried out by transverse clamping between transversely opposed wedges (36A, 36B; 38A, 38B), the arrangement comprising: an upper outer wedge (38A) and a lower outer wedge (38B) which are each positioned between an outer face (34) of the groove (28) and the outer vertical face (22) of the panel (14); at least two movable transmission members (62A, 62B) which are each capable of transmitting a sliding force to an associated outer wedge (38A, 38B), the force being applied from an inner side (24) of the panel (14); the arrangement is characterized in that the upper and lower outer wedges (38A, 38B) slide vertically upwards from the released position thereof to the clamped position thereof above the released position.

A raking rail panel system includes a raking rail panel that is supported by four pivotable bracket assemblies. Each pivotable bracket assembly includes a rail support bracket that is hinged to a post bracket. Each post bracket is configured to be coupled to a vertical support post. The post brackets each include a gap filling portion that extends from a mounting face of the vertical support posts. The gap filling portions are sized to either fill a long or a short gap between an end baluster and the vertical support post. The four pivotable bracket assemblies facilitate drop-in installation of the rail panel pivoted in a range of rake angles.
