Single panel siding product
A method of making a siding product is disclosed and includes molding a panel, wherein the panel comprises a substantially rectangular structure having a simulated pattern on a front face thereof and a hollow back, and the panel comprises a single shake configuration that does not simulate more than one shake or more than one course of siding, wherein the panel comprises a plurality of recesses and fastener locations on the front face thereof, and the hollow back comprises a pad opposite each recess and fastener location, each recess and pad having a thickness in a depth direction, wherein the hollow back comprises a plurality of short ribs extending in the longitudinal direction, each short rib having a longitudinal length that is less than a length of the hollow back.
Pre-finished insulated panel system for cladding a building
A pre-finished insulated panel system for cladding an exterior wall of a building, the system comprising: rectangular panels each with an insulation core and weather resistant coating defining a central portion with a panel thickness between an inside mounting surface and an exposed outside surface, the plurality of panels adapted for engagement in a series of parallel rows; each panel having: a mounting flange disposed on the top edge and on a first lateral edge of each panel, the mounting flange including: a recessed mounting groove; an inner ridge; and an outer ridge; an elongate cover flange complementary with the mounting flange disposed on the bottom edge and on an opposing second lateral edge, the cover flange including: an inner groove complementary to the inner ridge; and an outer groove complementary to the outer ridge; and mechanical fasteners within the recessed mounting groove and anchoring to the wall.
PANELIZED WARP-CORNER FOR BUILDINGS
A corner construction with improved warping flexibility may feature two panels, or walls, hinged together to form a corner and then hinged to the underlying building structure or adjacent wall construction. Any flexible connection between the two panels in the central corner and the panels and underlying building structure or wall construction may be utilized, including hinges and flexible plate supports.
Waterproof side trim system for exterior of buildings
A system for providing siding to a building is disclosed. The system utilizes components which have their own brackets with attachment flanges in order to connect directly to an exterior wall of the building. The brackets contain their own integrated water control systems, which co-act with those of other components to control and direct water into vertical channels and out from behind the siding system. These flanges double as self-contained flashing. In all the system presents a roof-to-foundation siding system that is self-contained and fully transitional from one piece to another.
System, method and apparatus for corner siding
A corner siding product may include a plurality of panels. Each panel may include a front face with a simulated pattern and an inner wall formed along a perimeter of the panel. The corner siding product may further include a clip that is configured engage each panel to hold the panels together and form a corner.
FIBER ENFORCED THIN BRICK SHEET AND PROCESS
A fiber enforced sheet for use as a wall or floor covering which comprises of adhered thin bricks bonded to a fiber-reinforced, backing layer. Thin brick is adhered to the fiber enforced sheet. The fiber enforced backing increases strength and rigidity to the thin brick during handling, and installation permits the thin bricks to be adhered to proper specification and spacing to be cut using ordinary tile or thin brick tools.
ARTICLE AND METHOD FOR ENCLOSING APERTURE IN HOUSE SIDING TO PREVENT OR DISCOURAGE ENTRY BY SMALL ANIMALS AND INSECTS
This invention relates to an apparatus for obstructing the open end of vertical corner channel pieces of siding often used in residential building applications. Siding terminates at the corners of buildings into a vertical corner channel piece that is typically open on its top and bottom ends. This opening provides opportunity for small animals to enter and damage the building. This invention comprises an enclosing cap with a bottom surface to obstruct the opening of the vertical corner channel piece and two exterior surfaces along with two interior pinching surfaces that secure the apparatus onto the siding piece. This enclosing cap provides an attractive and inexpensive solution to the problem of small animals entering spaces located underneath siding.
Panel siding product
A siding product is disclosed and includes a panel comprising a front with a simulated wood grain, a hollow back opposite the front, a longitudinal length extending in an x-direction, a lateral width extending in a y-direction, and a transverse depth extending in a z-direction. The panel includes a hanger clip on the front that has a hanger clip length that extends longitudinally in the x-direction, the hanger clip length is at least about 50% of the longitudinal length of the panel, and a butt leg on the hollow back. Moreover, the butt leg of the panel is configured to engage the hanger clip of a lower panel without interlocking, such that they do not engage each other with positive snap action engagement.
ADJUSTABLE CLADDING FOR MITIGATING WIND-INDUCED VIBRATION OF HIGH-RISE STRUCTURES
A system, device and method for reducing wind-induced vibration using cladding includes one or more movable panels attached to an outer faade of a high-rise building, skyscraper or any other structure subject to wind-induced vibration.
Wall panel
A universal corner panel includes a first surface comprising a first portion and a second portion. The first portion has a first surface topography with a first delta and the second portion has a second surface topography with a second delta. The first delta is substantially different than the second delta.
