Centering sleeve and method for fastening
A sleeve (20) for centering fasteners during the assembly of components such as facade elements on the substructure of a building envelope includes a sleeve body (23) and a connection bracket (25). The sleeve body (23) has a plurality of sleeve elements (21, 22) which are grouped around a central center axis A and are spaced apart from each other by gaps running in the sleeve longitudinal direction. At least a first (21) and a second (22) sleeve piece are connected to each other at an axial longitudinal end of the sleeve body (23) by a separable connection bracket (25), preferably the connection bracket is separable via predetermined breaking points. Such a sleeve is used in the construction of facades, wherein it is inserted into a pilot hole of a facade element, the connection bracket is broken off and a fastener is inserted into the sleeve. Driving the fastener centers the fastener in the sleeve and the sleeve is removed from the pilot hole.
WALL OR CEILING PANEL AND WALL OR CEILING ASSEMBLY
A wall or ceiling panel, which, on one side edge, comprises a male coupling part and, on an opposite side edge, comprises a female coupling part. The male coupling part comprises a tongue and the female coupling part comprises a groove. The groove is bordered by a front lip and a rear lip, with the characteristic that the panel forms a ceiling-high wall panel and/or has a length of at least 2400 mm.
WALL PANEL
A wall panel may have a rigid layer, a first insulation layer made from a two-part rigid urethane pour foam, and a second insulation layer made from a phase change material. The first insulation layer maybe chemically bonded to the rigid layer and may also be bonded to the phase change layer. The first insulation layer may be positioned between the second insulation layer and the rigid layer. The rigid layer may be a finished surface or a veneer layer may be applied to the rigid layer.
Construction system for wall cladding
A construction system (1) for wall cladding having uprights (2) and cross-members (3) to be held between two uprights not aligned vertically, in which the cross-members (3) have two opposing terminals (33) of a deformable material with two bends. The uprights (2) have an anchor (22) where terminals (33) of the cross-members can be attached, with the anchor, for this purpose, having, for each terminal (33), at least two entry parts (A, B) arranged spatially to maintain the relationship with the two bends (a, b) of the terminal, with each bend insertable into one of the entry parts, first requiring elastically deforming one terminal (33) or the upright such that the bends are pressed against the entry parts. The system can be completed with a series of cladding pieces (10) prepared to be suspended from one or more cross-members (3) at the same time.
Facade element holder and method for mounting same
A facade element holder includes first and second profile elements, the first profile element having two sections A and B. Here, section A has a first surface shape X and section B as a second surface shape Y. The second profile element has two sections C and D with a first surface shape X′ and a second surface shape Y′. X and X′ and Y and Y′ have substantially the same contour diametrically oppositely in pairs, the spacings from A to B and from C to D being chosen to be substantially equal. The first and second profile elements can thus inter-engage in a form-fitting manner in section A and C and in section B and D. A method for mounting facade elements with such a facade element holder includes providing first and second profile elements and facade elements, and fitting the second profile elements to the rear side of the facade elements and installing the first profile elements horizontally as outer terminating elements of a substructure on a load-bearing building envelope. Individual facade elements are mounted by the second profile element(s) being brought into engagement with the first profile elements such that a form-fitting connection is achieved.
Outboard Insulation Mounting System
An Outboard Insulation Mounting System and products for the purpose of providing a continuously insulated (CI) wall utilizing a dual nailing flanged stud, sub-girts with multiple aligned flanges and holes, a fastener for penetrating the multiple surfaces of the stud and sub-girt for the purpose of transferring cantilevered stresses to the screw from more than one direction, compounding the load capacity of the cantilevered screw. Rigid insulation installed between the studs and sub-girts may be compressed and assist with the load capacity of the cantilevered fasteners, as well as being supported by these fasteners along with any attached façade panels or façade systems to the sub-girts.
Self-engaging mounting method for wall panels
A wall panel installation method, assembly, system and kit are provided. The wall panel is installed and held to an existing building structure with the combination of a support plate secured to the building wall, fastening elements adhered to the wall panel and corresponding fastening elements adhered to respective support plates. When the wall panel is in position, the fastening elements are brought into contact to engage each other and hold the wall panel in position relative to the building structure/wall.
CLADDING SYSTEM
A cladding system for covering an exterior wall is provided. The cladding system includes a panel for assembling on the exterior wall and an anchor for securing the panel to the exterior wall. The panel has a body with channels formed on a rear side thereof for draining water on an interior surface of the channel which is spaced away from the exterior wall. The anchor comprises tabs for fitting in to the channels and preventing a pull-out and/or a push-in of the panel relative to the exterior wall. The anchor cooperates with the panel to direct water into the drainage channels, and to define a continuous drainage path from top to bottom of the cladding system.
