Siding Panel with Improved Locking Mechanism and Method of Manufacture
One aspect of the disclosure is a siding panel having a front face, a rear face, a top edge, a bottom edge, a first side, and a second side, the top edge being folded over to create two layers of material. The siding panel further includes a first locking mechanism disposed on the front face adjacent the top edge configured to interlock with a second locking mechanism of a second siding panel, the first locking mechanism having a generally S-shaped portion. The siding panel also includes a second locking mechanism disposed on the rear face of the siding panel having a generally U-shaped portion including a curved section, and the second locking mechanism being configured to interlock with a first locking mechanism of a third siding panel. The first locking mechanism and the second locking mechanism facilitate both locking and unlocking of the siding panel from the third siding panel.
CLADDING PANEL
A panel for covering a substrate including: a body having a first connecting profile and a second connecting profile, and a mesh, the first connecting profile and the second connecting profile being complementarily shaped in such a way that adjacent panels are coupled to one another via the first connecting profile and the second connecting profile, each of the first connecting profile and the second connecting profile comprising a pocket and a flange, the pocket of the first connecting profile being shaped for receiving the flange of the second connecting profile and the pocket of the second connecting profile being shaped for receiving the flange of the first connecting profile, wherein the mesh overhangs both the pocket of the first connecting profile and the pocket of the second connecting profile, said mesh overhangs configured for attachment of the panel to the substrate.
METHODS FOR PREPARING DIMENSIONALLY STABLE FOAM BACKERS AND SIDING COMPRISING SAME
A composite siding panel mountable on an exterior wall of a building includes a foam backing member and a siding member attached to the backing member, such as through the use of an adhesive coating. The foam backing member is treated to be dimensionally stable. The resulting composite siding panel is less vulnerable to visual or other defects that may occur when the backing member is not dimensionally stable.
Building exterior panel and assembly structure thereof
The present invention relates to a building exterior panel and an assembly structure thereof. A building exterior panel according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises: a front steel plate; a rear steel plate spaced apart from the front steel plate in the rear direction thereof; an upper frame disposed between the upper ends of the front steel plate and the rear steel plate and having a width in the thickness direction; a first side frame disposed at an end of a first side surface located at one end among horizontal opposite ends of the front steel plate and the rear steel plate; a second side frame disposed at an end of a second side surface located at the other end among the horizontal opposite ends of the front steel plate and the rear steel plate; and a lower frame disposed between the lower ends of the front steel plate and the rear steel plate. In addition, an assembly structure of a building exterior panel according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises: a plurality of building exterior panels as described above; and a base steel member having one side fixed to an outer wall and the other side coupled to the plurality of building exterior panels to support the plurality of building exterior panels.
Impervious wall panel
A water impervious wall panel system includes an intermediate first wall panel composed of a waterproof core and a decorative surfacing attached to the core, wherein the intermediate first wall panel is provided with tongue-and-groove edges. The water impervious wall panel system also includes an end second wall panel composed of a waterproof core and a decorative surfacing attached to the core, wherein the end second wall panel is provided with a tongue-and-groove edge and a rolled edge. One of the tongue-and-groove edges of the intermediate first wall panel and the tongue-and-groove edge of the end second wall panel form an interlocking system having a contact area adjacent to a front face of the intermediate first wall panel and the end second wall panel and a gap adjacent a rear face of the intermediate first wall panel and the end second wall panel, the contact area surface extending across less than the thickness of the intermediate first wall panel and the end second wall panel so as to provide a tight joint at the front face and eliminate visible gaps.
SIDING PANEL WITH A RECESSED LOCKING SECTION
A siding panel includes a hanger section adjacent to an upper edge and a lower locking section adjacent to a lower edge. When installed, the lower locking section of an upper siding panel partially overlaps, extends into, and interlocks with a hanger section of a lower siding panel in an interference fit.
METHOD AND KIT FOR INSTALLATION OF SIDING PANELS
A method and kit for installing siding panels to an exterior surface of a structure. The method and kit are directed to the positioning of a mending plate between the ends of horizontally adjacent siding panels. Lines of an adhesive are applied to the mending and the mending plate is disposed approximately midway between the ends of each of the adjacent first and second siding panels. Pressure is applied to the ends of the siding panels that are disposed over the respective portions of the mending plate thereby uniformly spreading the adhesive across the back surface of the siding panel and the mending plate to enhance the chemical bond of the adhesive once fully cured.
System, method and apparatus for providing a sound absorbing composite wall
The present invention provides a light weight, composite wall system. According to a preferred embodiment, the present invention includes a sound absorbing wall assembly system which includes a wall beam with detachably mounted wall panels. According to further aspects of the present invention, the wall beam preferably includes an upper surface, a lower surface and a back beam surface which is connected between the upper and lower surfaces. According to further aspects of the present invention, the upper surface of the wall beam includes a corrugated rib and an upper connecting flange, and the lower surface includes a lower corrugated rib and a lower connecting flange.
CLADDING PANEL
A cladding panel comprising a top multi-film layer and a base layer configured for connection to a substrate, the top multi-film layer including at least an external substantially transparent film and a granular film adjacent to the external substantially transparent film.
